Hi Louis… I purchased the oversized WK sweater (A257356) in black, and LOVE IT. I bought it in the XS and S, and will keep both. LOVE the sleeves, neckline and weight of the piece. What are the chances of bringing us this simple yet simply gorgeous top in other colors…. charcoal, fucshia, grape, etc? I just love the length and the feel on the body…. so easy to wear, but looks beautiful casually during the day or out to a nice dinner at night. Thanks.
Can’t wait to grab the striped cardi when it’s presented. Again… wish they would give you evening hours… this is not 1950, women WORK!!!!! What a concept…

  2. Kathy/Wis

    Dear Louis
When will the print top be available?
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Good question…..QVC has them so I’m hoping on my next show on March 2nd at 2pm, but you never know!

  3. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

Hi Louis – Can you comment on the difference between stone and teak? On my screen they are looking about the same. Thanks!
    Susan

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The teak has a little more yellow in it, but I think you can wear the stone separates [WK pieces and gabardine slim pant] with the cardigan.

  4. Belle Femme

Happy Sunday, Louis! I adore the moss crepe top and skirt. I would love more pieces in the moss crepe for travel. Any chance we will see pants?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sketches were done….but that’s no guarantee they will buy it

      1. Belle Femme

That gives me hope! I have the three-piece matte jersey knit set you did several years ago in black. It had a long-sleeved top, pants and skirt that were sold together as a set. Remember that grouping? I love that fabric, and it remains one of my favorite travel sets. I think the moss crepe will be another travel set but we need more pieces.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Belle Femme, I remember that three piece set very well. I was very disappointed that it did not sell well. The matte jersey used was an excellent quality. Of course I can’t use that quality anymore it’s just too expensive. So if it didn’t sell then…..it really wouldn’t sell now. There are a group of you who will spend more for quality, but when an item has a higher price tag there are many who will not pull the trigger. So, I have to always search for the new fabric, such as the moss crepe, before that too gets a price increase, which will eventually happen. There have been many fabrics I have had to drop due to major price increases or just price resistance from the start……such as the matte jersey you own.

  5. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Good Sunday morning Louis! There is an interesting thread on the QVC Linea site about these new striped cardigans. Of course the usual keen excitement you would expect about them but out of 27 comments at this point 5 are from women who say they never purchase horizontal stripes though they all agree these are beautiful… I wonder if you will speak to this when you present, or perhaps show the cardigan on Maria? In any case, it looks like I MIGHT not have as much competition as I had thought for this cardi in plus size 😉 I’ll be wearing mine over a column of dark navy blue – pant or skirt – and I hope, Loving It!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….I think so many women have been indoctrinated that horizontal stripes don’t work for large women that no matter what I say or do would convince them otherwise. there are many different widths of stripes. Thin stripes like the ones on this cardi, are easier to wear….bold thick stripes are more difficult….then the colors do make a difference…. As I always say….not everything is for everyone. I’m sure you will wear yours with lots of confidence and that’s 70% of it.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Thanks Louis! A little “education” about stripes never hurts! And you are the man who knows how to put the look together 🙂

    2. Cela

Hi Nancy, I hope Louis doesn’t get upset with me for offering this advice, but the solution is easy. Just pick a stripe with the dark background, and less contrast, as opposed to the light BG. So the navy/green sweater would be easier for a plus size than maybe the ivory/navy. HTH

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cela, I think that is good advise, and it is what I meant by certain color combinations working better for large sizes than others. The funny thing is, if you recall the bold stripe sweater I did a few seasons back with the sequins stripes at the top and the black bow at the neckline…..it was the black and ivory that sold out….LOL. I did the black/dk. grey, black/deep purple and black/deep blue just for that purpose…..so larger women or just women who were leery of bold stripes, would feel more comfortable wearing a stripe that didn’t have such contrasting colors. Still….the boldest black/ivory combination was thew most popular in every size…..Moral of the story….you can never second guess……but your advise is correct. However, with this particular thin stripe, I don’t feel the effect is the same as the bolder stripe…..even in ivory and navy. Watch….it will still be the first to go….

  6. Writer with Flair (Patti)

Any chance there will ever be clip on J320884
    Signature Logo Earrings?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There are none panned, but I will keep that in mind for the future

      1. Writer with Flair (Patti)

Thanks, Louis! Anything you can do to have clip on earrings is greatly appreciated.

  7. Sheesh

Hi, Louis. FYI, many of the Linea Ladies are hoping for a Denim jacket with Silver Linea Logo buttons (including moi) I now have four of the Denim Jackets with Gold Buttons, including the new PP which arrived yesterday and is gorgeous! If it is reordered a third time, may we have one or two colors with Silver buttons, please? Personally, I’d love to see the Bleached Denim and Perfectly Pink come back with Silver buttons. As always, thanks for all you do……

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sheesh…..if it should be reordered again I will do silver buttons on at least one. Unfortunately, the existing colors are reordered as is and can not be changed…..thinking way ahead….what color would you like with silver buttons?

      1. Carol

I would like gunmetal buttons on one of the color choices, too. Black and charcoal come to mind as reorder colors. Also magenta.

      2. Sheesh

Thanks,Louis. How about a soft Dove Grey with Silver buttons? And a matching skirt would be killer, too. Please twist the buyer’s arm to bring back the skirts and jeans. In a soft Dove Grey, I’d buy all three pieces in a heart beat.

      3. JBCinSD

Turquoise with silver to wear with our turquoise jewelry

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Since the jacket is avail. in Aqua, they would not want turquoise….too close.

  8. luvitorleaveit

I just got my tangerine cardigan and can I just say wowzee, beautiful all that and more. There is no way this cardigan isn’t a reorder. I have my pearl print top in the orange/tangerine color and it looks like they work together I’ll know better when I try them on together and with my white jeans or white skirt I brought from you this will make a nice outfit.

  9. Writer with Flair (Patti)

Love the stripe cardigans that you posted. I can’t wait to get some and do a twin set thing. Thanks,Louis!

  10. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, I know you have mentioned white and the new light denim color in regards to the jean VEST. Is the dark navy also returning in the jean vest? Any other new colors? I got more compliments on that vest last spring! From men!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes the dark navy, white bleached blue and perfectly pink will all be avail.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Perfectly pink TOO??? Be still my heart!!!

  11. Cela

The new cardigans are beautiful with the new signature necklaces and earrings, perfect match to the buttons. Can’t wait to see all.

  12. Debbie M.

    Dear Louis,

It is cold, and more snow is coming later today. Do you know what I need??? A sneak peek! 🙂

    1. Debbie M.

      Thank you! That helps, LOL

  13. l jazz

    Love the new denim jackets
    Ordered the bleached denim
Will there be dresses or skirts to match
    Like last year
thanks for all you do and for the elephant sanctuary as well

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No bottoms in these colors….only the denim vest

  14. Sherry

Any chance of a White cotton blend button front sleeveless shirt in our future???

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Nothing planned…my previous sleeveless shirt didn’t do well.

  15. Writer with Flair (Patti)

Any stripes, dots, or prints coming for spring and summer?

      1. Writer with Flair (Patti)

        Yippee! I’ll take ’em!

  16. Becky

Dear Louis, I just ordered my third pair of Linea Leisure pants. Will there be capris or bermudas or some short pant in this pocketed style? Oh, I’m hoping 🙂

      1. Becky

Oh surely! Thank you for the sketches 🙂

        1. Cathy In PA

Can we please have a conference call with those buyers LOL … ?

  17. Happy Lady

Received A262069 LL skirt(s)and LOVE! Ordered 2 black and 2 navy. This is my type of skirt and would love to see in additional colors like a lighter blue or bright red or white (would so love white). Do you have any additional colors planed for this skirt? Bought both the button front jacket and hoodie to wear with these skirts and LL pants. Love this new LL. Thanks, Louis

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Happy Lady….These OLO items are very difficult to get reordered, because the selling can be very slow. It’s only word of mouth that gets women to try, so I have no idea if it will ever get reordered or if additional colors will ever be asked for by the buyers.

  18. Sharon

Hello Louis, I was wondering if any new items are coming on Mondays show in the wee hours of the morning?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      No….nothing new

  19. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

The t-shirt that I would like in a long or 3/4 sleeve is A255118, which is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Of course, I would buy black and white!

    Thanks,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dariann ….as you can see this T is avail in every color and every size, so,it didn’t do as well as I hoped. I don’t know if I can do it again?

  20. Chris S.

    Hello Louis,
Last week I was able to purchase the Ikat printed pull on skirt (A233189) in the blue combo as a lunchtime special value. I tried it on with the new aqua Milano knit cardigan and the WK v-neck and mock neck tanks in aqua. The aqua color in the cardigan and tanks is a perfect match to the aqua in the Ikat skirt. The style of the cardigan looks great with the skirt, but I wonder if the Ottoman rib at the bottom is a little too busy with the Ikat print, especially around my pear shaped hip area. Otherwise, it is a lovely outfit. I just can’t decide. Is the Ottoman rib better with a solid skirt or pants?
    Thank you for your opinion.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris….they are not two items I would have put together. The cardigan is a little too tailored for that long summery shirt. I like the skirt with the short sleeve WK cardigan…or a 3/4 sleeve top….even the swing cardigan or the open front kimono cardigan would work……even the crushed gauze piece in black or white…..see where I’m going here…..soft and flowy. I prefer the Milano sweater with a short solid skirt [WK or ponte]….even the drawstring ponte skirt if the card is left open…..or the mosaic print short skirt…..something more tailored.

      1. Chris S.

Thank you. I knew something didn’t feel quite right pairing the Ikat skirt and the Milano cardigan, but now I know why it wasn’t working. I have some of the pieces you mentioned, so I will try those. I also have the very fine boucle drape front cardigan A233859 in white and black. Now I get it! I’ll save the Milano knit cardigan to pair with my more tailored pieces. Thank you for being such a good teacher!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris …the BOUCLE sweaters would be perfect….add a tank and your done

  21. Cathy Morton

    Hi Louis,
I was wondering if you will be having any special occasion dresses in the near future. My son is getting married at the end of May and I need something special. I really liked your purple sequin dress from last year. I wish that I had bought it then but I didn’t.
    Is anything coming up?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cathy….I wish i could tell you yes, and it’s not that i haven’t designed special evening pieces, but they just aren’t buying them.

      1. Anonymous

        Dear Louis,
Thanks for replying to my question. Even though there’s nothing coming up for this occasion, I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever else you give us. Thanks again.

  22. Julia

    Hi Louis,

Hope you and Jac and the girls are doing well with all the snow and cold temps. We had 7 inches of snow, which is a lot for us in this part of Virginia, and my husband had to shovel paths from the back door into the yard for our corgi so she could do her business. Of course, being a corgi she still wanted to blaze her own trail.

I’m ordering the Perfectly Pink jean jacket and was looking at the video of the previous presentation of the jacket when you paired it with the lace skirts. Any chance that skirt has been reordered? Maybe in Perfectly Pink? I’d love that color in that skirt. I’d pair it with the PP WK pieces AND with the black or charcoal WK. Dare I hope?

    Julia/Qulia

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julia…We haven had that much snow that we can’t deal with it….not like my SIL in Boston! It’s the cold that gets in your bones!….You can always hope, but you know the saying…”hopin ain’t gettin”….sorry for my warped sense of humor. The answer to your question is, no…the lace has not been reordered.

      1. Julia

Thank you for getting back with me. I have so much Linea in my closet I have no shortage of something to wear with the new jacket (but always looking for more of that lovely PP). And I know you’ll have more gorgeous items coming that will quickly erase the thought of a PP lace skirt from my mind.

  23. Clark55

Louis…I just received my two cardigans in hibiscus and navy. You have really outdone yourself in this creation. Thank you!!! The quality is superb. Perfect for the west coast weather. I love love love the colors and I love love love this cardigan. I can’t believe that I got such a high-end cardigan for the price I paid. This is a $300+ cardigan. Believe me…I’m not complaining. If you are fortunate enough to reorder this beautiful cardigan, please add more colors.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Clark55….I am so happy you love your new cardigans. To be honest I was surprised they were able to sell this garment at such a reasonable price for what it is. The Milano stitch combined with the Ottoman stitch and all the HAND tubulars is a very time consuming and difficult operation.

      1. Carol

Add me to the chorus of those who ADORE this sweater jacket. Perfection–as usual.

  24. Jackie

    Louis,
Are there any plans for more colors for the poet shirt this spring?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thy have not reordered it. Exactly why I don’t know. It has always done well.

      1. Kate

Beginning to think I’m your bad luck charm. It’s like they go to my order page, note what I’ve bought and cross those items off the reorder list! Sorry!

    2. Jackie

Thanks. I will place my order for the blue before it sells out in my size.

  25. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

Any chance you could make your great t-shirt with long sleeves? Would LOVE black and white.

    Thanks,
    Dariann

  26. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, is anything coming this spring/summer season in the crushed gauze? I loved the asymmetrical pieces, cardigan, skirt and tiered shell all last summer and can’t wait to wear them again this summer. White, Black and sky blue. Loved that fabrication and the design of course was perfection.

    1. Bobbie

Nancy, I agree. I loved this fabric for summer. The black skirt, tunic and cardigan were the first things I would reach for in my closet when going out in the evening. The asymmetrical design was very flattering! I would love more color choices, or at least a reorder, since I missed all of the sky blue pieces (was only able to get the tunic).

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Bobbie, those sky blue pieces mixed around with the white pieces are dynomite! And sky blue with any of Louis’ perfectly pinks isn’t too shabby either 😉

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy…not one of the pieces you mentioned has been reordered….sometimes I just shake my head! LOL…the only piece that is coming back is the button front shirt, and a new color has been added…a lovely soft SAGE.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Shaking heads right along with you!

  27. luvitorleaveit

Thank you Louis for the WK pants I was only able to get the navy and green but they have kept my legs very warm because it is like being in a freezer here plus my job is like three blocks from the east river.
Will these be back in the fall?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No…this is the third time I convinced the buyers to buy WK pants, and once again the returns were high, so that’s it for WK pants.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Oh shucks! No more WK pants but the sizes are so limited I would even get the petites if my size was available. I just washed mine in the washing machine for the first time inside out in woolite and they turned out beautifully.

      2. newberry

I love these pants. I went back and bought a smaller size just incase I loose weight. I don’t want to be with out them.

  28. Happy Lady

Question, Louis….does the new Milano sweater A263783 in navy go with navy Whisper Knits. I got on waitlist for the navy and would like to wear with my navy wks. Do they match or clash or perhaps are tonal? I’m not going to order if they are “off”. I am emailing you wearing my tangerine Milano sweater with gray turtleneck and gray pants. Perfect in every way. What a steal at this price. Love this color. Thanks for such an up lifting color to wear in this horrible weather. Be safe.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Happy Lady….I think the navies do work. I always give the same WK navy as my standard no matter the fabric or the yarn. The new sweater in the cotton/rayon is slightly greener, but not much. If you want a 100% match then I would say they do not match 100%. Happen to like the new navy sweater with ivory or color since it is for spring. It would also look good with fall colors such as camel, grey, wine etc.

  29. Kathy/Wis

    Dear Louis
Will there be any denim shorts or vests?
    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No shorts…they just don’t sell or they are high return items. The vest has been reordered and is due this Spring April or May?

      1. Kathy/Wis

        What colors in the vest?
        Thanks

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy. White and navy will be returning as well as the colors remaining in inventory [aqua and yellow]….plus we have added BLEACHED DENIM and PERFECTLY PINK

  30. designista

Has there been a change in your show dates? The next showing I have for you is Friday, February 20 on FEW. The next show on a Saturday is March 21 with Leah. When is the denim jacket going to air?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….did I write something wrong again??? If you look at my ” important dates”, you will see I will be there this Friday for FEW< and then in a month again for FEW on the 20th and Leah on the 21st of March. That's when the jean jacket will be aired, even though they have it avail now. I doubt there will be many left in the P. Pink when I show them.

  31. Debbie M.

    Dear Louis,

I ordered the denim jacket in PP but I was wondering what finish the buttons are, gold or silver?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Gold…..I think the pink is going to sell before my presentation a week from this Saturday.

      1. Carol

That’s a good thing, Louis! If they’re not sorry about not reordering the pants, they will be when they see how these fly out the door!

  32. designista

Good morning Louis! How did you style Jac in the Hibiscus Milano/Ottoman sweater? We never got to see her!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I was torn between the navy WK pencil skirt and the navy WK pant, but I went with the skirt and a white WK ENR tank.

      1. designista

        Thanks!

  33. Melissa

Louis, I just started acquiring your pieces last year and now have a closet full. I get so many compliments when I wear your clothes. One of my favorites is the Crinkle Georgette Shirt/Shell A214117. Will you be coming back with any more colors in this? I might add that I love the tabs on the shell to hold bra straps in place.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes….Since it is basically offered in dark colors only, the white is coming back along with the new Perfectly Pink next month, and then some more pastels later in the season for late spring summer..

      1. Melissa

Wonderful – thank you! Also wanted to say I loved your Valentine’s Day story about Tarra. 🙂

  34. Writer with Flair (Patti)

    Dear Louis,

I loved your Lotus Print Cardigan (A233854) and Tank (A233855) in the Faux Silk de Chine fabric. Is there any chance that you might bring that print back in a fabulous scarf or shawl? I loved that print so much that I got the cardigans and tanks in both the Blush and the Bamboo colors.

Also, could you do another round of the cardigans and tanks in the Lotus Print in different color combinations (like Ivory and Navy, Black and White, Red and Black, Camel and Ivory, Perfectly Pink and Pewter, etc.)?

Thanks for those beautiful garments in that fabulous print.

    Patti

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti….when something doesn’t sell well enough to reorder then it will not be brought back….however, in June I will have a very interesting new print cardigan and coordinating tank in a very different print combination.

      1. Writer with Flair (Patti)

That is great news, Louis. I look forward to seeing the new cardigan and tank.

Will you ever do any silk or silk-like scarves in your prints?

  35. luvitorleaveit

Louis would you ever do collarless jackets I love collar jackets and have plenty but for some of the dresses that you have brought to us like the denim and if you remember the button front dress that already have collars it would be too much I think. If QVC doesn’t like linen maybe you can do that jacket style in cotton without the collar. Or do you have another suggestion I love my sleeveless dresses but I always have to have a jacket or wrap for the air conditioning. Or did you already do that I may have missed it.

I am so happy the tangerine cardigan is being processed……yeah!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear lovitorleaveit….at the present I do not have any colorless jackets, but thanks for the suggestion….the nest i can offer is a sweater cardigan of which here are many to choose from. There’s the swing in WK, and the bolero, the short sleeve V neck as well as the classic v-neck long sleeve the open front kimono type and there will b many more for spring. You should review all of the different cardigans and see if any work for your purposes.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Thanks Louis I will check out your suggestions.

  37. Julie

Hi Louis! Do you know if the Pebble Crepe Sleeveless Tunic (A255182) & matching Pull On Cropped Pants (A255183) have been reordered? If so, any new colors?
I have the pants in Coffee Bean & am kicking myself for not getting the top, it’s been sold out for months!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie, the PC top has not been reordered.

    2. Julie

Bummer!! At least the white is still available, will get that!

  38. judy thornton

Hi, I appreciate the lovely clothes you bring to us on QVC! Do you know if the tank in perfectly pink has been reordered? I need one in 2x to go with the cotton spandex jacket I purchased recently. Thank you sir

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      As of now, no

  39. DeLois

Louis, I think you missed my question a few back. I wanted to know what you would think of the tangerine sweater Jacket with the blue tapestry print from last year….. (shorter skirt)….. with a touch of tangerine in it. I think it looks great, but wanted your opeion……???????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I did miss your question….they look fabulous together….I would think the Aqua cardi would look fabulous with the marigold print too.

    2. JBCinSD

Do you know the item number of that skirt?

      1. Sherry

        A255181, it’s on clearance and easy-pay…

  40. Ginny

Hi Louis, no question just a big thank you for your beautiful designs. I just returned from Hawaii and my suitcase was filled with nothing but your designs. What an easy way to pack! I am anxiously awaiting your new spring/summer designs………you are simply the best designer on QVC…….Thank you and Happy Valentines Day to you and Jac.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ginny…..Hawaii sounds soooo good to me right now as we are anticipating yet another storm! Actually any where sounds good to me except here. I know Spring is only a month away but horrible Feb. is certainly leaving its’ mark. I am very happy the clothes worked out for you on your trip. It always makes a vacation doubly nice when you know you look good!

  41. Shan

I received the navy ottoman jacket today. Wow! As the rock star, this is when you throw down the mike and walk off the stage. You killed it! As for the microphone thing, you come back of course to launch your next hit which is even better. But not sure how you top that jacket. This is one of my favorite pieces yet.

  42. Carma

    Hi Louis,
I was just wondering if the denim jacket from last year, and the denim vest which zips, were going to come in any new colors this season? Also, are there going to be any new pieces coming in the perfectly pink? (besides the ones you’ve shown already)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes….both the vest and jean jacket are coming back, and one of the new colors in the Jean jacket is Perfectly Pink. I will be showing the jacket on Leah William’s Saturday morning show, a week from tomorrow…..the 20th or the 21st? Which ever is Saturday! The vest is scheduled for layer in the spring.

      1. Yvette

Oh Louis, I noticed that you didn’t mention the matching jeans. Does that mean they were not reordered? I have TWO of each color from last year, and literally lived in them. The fabric stayed cool through New Orleans’ summer heat. Tell me they’ve been reordered – please?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yvette…..sorry to say they were not reordered. I know the indigo and white are sold out, but there must have been many returns. The only pants that get reordered are pull-on knit pants., and sometimes not even them. It very difficult to fit so many women with so many issues in to on size….then multiply that by all the sizes….it’s sort of like trying to fit many different women in Cinderella’s slipper…LOL I have another sketched for next Spring, but that’s not a guarantee.

  43. DeLois

Just received my tangerine sweater jacket from the last show. I was really apprehensive that it might be too tight after some of the comments. I had ordered my regular size Medium and it fits perfectly when zipped……… I love it and what do you think about putting it with the blue tapestry print skirt from last year with the touch of tangerine in the print? I think I will still wear the purply blue top I have with it but the jacket seems to be ok if it is a bit chilly. What do you think?

  44. diane bloch

Louis- I asked you a few days ago about the boho skirt. You suggested I ask the Linea Forum ladies their requests. So far
a few dozen have responded. Requests include white, aqua, turquoise. Someone also asked for prints. I don’t know if these
are enough response to nudge your buyer, but maybe it will help a little. The post is still up if you want to take a look.
As for me I’m still hoping for a white one. I have all the rest. Still waiting for the milano. I know, good things come to those
    who wait. Happy weekend.

    1. Maia

Louis, a couple posters also asked for your caneel blue. I hope you will use that calming, beautiful color in several items including more tops in the future!

      1. Teri

I was going to say the same thing. The aqua I need is like the feather jersey color. Sea glass emerald and such.

    2. Shari

I would LOVE to see a pure optic white Boho skirt. I had a simular one a couple
years back and it was taken out of my hotel room. I really miss it.
      I also vote for aqua.

      1. Grace

I’d also love a white boho and a blue–turquoise, aqua or caneel blue!

  45. Elaine

Hello Louis, recieved the Milano sweater in tangerine, love the color! Also the pebble crepe pants, my second pair and the new smoke pebble crepe tunic, my third. Looking forward to more colors in the sweater. Will you be doing the crepe pants in smoke? It’s a great color.
    Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Elaine….as of now I don’t know what styles they will be ordering.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

BTW….there are a pair of crepe pants in smoke avail now….also in the Aqua color that seems very popular

  46. Lynn

Did I miss the gunmetal fish? I thought it was to be out in January. If it was, I missed it. Will it be available again?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lynn…..No you haven’t missed it….it’s still swimming up stream!

  47. Carrie L Harris

Louis: I am interested in knowing where do you purchase the Berets your models wear. They appear to be bigger and fuller and I want some.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have been collecting them for years, Macy’s, Bloomies, Nordstoms, and eBay …some I even bought in Paris at some touristy stores.

  48. FreddieMac

Louis, I received my navy Milano knit sweater today and I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with it. It looks way more expensive than the QVC price. And it fits beautifully in my usual medium size. Some ladies were concerned that it looked short on the model in the Q picture but I am 5’7″ and it hits me just below the waist. Perfect. I just saw that this sweater will be offered in more colors in March. Will definitely be back for another. It is that good! Thanks so much.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear FreddieMac….So happy you are pleased with the cardi/jacket. I happen to agree about the sweater looking short on the model, and I don’t know why. If they gave another look to my sneak peek photos they would have realized it is not short. I don’t know if the model it very long waisted or if she throws her shoulders back lifting the jacket in a strange way. I have seen this model, and she is not big, but in photos many times things look tight in the bust, so she is either sticking her chest out or throwing her shoulders back….and if she’s long waisted all of this will distort the garment……I don’t know about other colors being offered in this sweater in March, so If I haven’t chosen them….it’s not happening.

      1. Cathy In PA

Possibly this is mixed up with the other new Milano sweater coming?

        1. Seka

I think that you are correct.

Louis mentioned on this Blog (answering a Question) that there was another zip front Milano Stitch Sweater coming in March – in Navy, White and Sunburst Yellow.

  49. Chris/Jazzmom

    Dear Louis,

Just wanted to mention that the squeaky wheel gets the oil– the click here measurements are up on the Milano stitch sweater AND the Leisure Petite pants. Keeping fingers crossed that the WK swing sweater also gets the measurements added as well in the next 24 hours.

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

If you want measurements on the swing sweater you had better post it on the forum, and any other style missing measurements….There is no grand conspiracy holding back measurements because of the new return policy…..that’s just silly. Believe me they would rather not have returns under any circumstances.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

I agree with them not wanting returns under any circumstances. The C/S reps have the garment measurements if any are missing from their respective web pages. AND these measurements are available 24 hours before the garment’s presentation on TV. How do I know this? Because I have called ahead of time to get those measurements for items we know will be popular. The number is toll free and the lines are open until midnight ET to obtain these measurements.

  50. Writer with Flair (Patti)

    Dear Louis,

Possibly could you do a pleated or gathered skirt out of Whisper Knit, Ponte, or other knit fabric?

    Thanks for considering it.

    Patti

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti….there is a way to do pleats in a WK , but it takes a lot of yarn and would be way too expensive for QVC. I have sketched all types of pleated skirts , but they always get passed up, and quite frankly my manufacturer isn’t too thrilled about making them either. We have made some in the past, sunburst and regular pleats and they are always a production nightmare.

      1. Writer with Flair (Patti)

Thanks, Louis. I was able to purchase one of the Sunburst Pleated Skirts in the Tarragon color. I love it and will treasure it all the more since there will probably not be any more.

  51. Merrylass

    Dear Louis,

I have just received the Milano cardigan in navy, aqua, and hibiscus and I LOVE them! They are simply gorgeous. Thank you so much for this design and I hope it comes in many more colours!! As an FYI, I did size up because I did read your sneak peek and saw your comment that those with larger attributes may find themselves “compressed” and the larger size does work but I probably could have gone with my regular size IF I were comfortable with wearing a tighter fit.

    Thanks again,
    Merrylass

  52. Elaine

    Good morning Louis,
Attended a lecture last evening at F.I.T. “Gods & Kings: The Rise & Fall of Alexander McQueen & John Galliano” by Dana Thomas. She describes their fall as a collision between Art and Commerce. Very interesting….

Awaiting the Milano sweater and several other goodies I orderd on Monday. Enjoy the weekend and “see” you next week.
Hi to Jac and thank you, Elaine

  53. Judy

Will there be any more of the A256444 petite Ponte knit pants coming this spring? I only snagged one pair in the black and would have loved to get the navy.
Thanks so much . Love your clothes.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Only the ones that are avail now, but i will have another pant in a new fabric in May

  54. Merrylass

Has item A223652 (Lace Jacket with Trim detail) been reordered in new colours? I hope that the jackets have been ordered in navy and in perfectly pink.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Merrylass….yes it has and it will be coming in those colors plus white.

      1. Merrylass

YIPPEE! I recently discovered this jacket in black and in ivory and I really want the navy and perfectly pink too. Now you have me thinking about the white as well. Sigh, I think I am becoming addicted to Linea;-)

        1. Cathy in PA

Thanks for the wonderful confirmation, Louis! I have a late morning wedding on the water, Chesapeak/Annapolis area late June, and I’m planning to wear that jacket in Navy, with a natural linen skirt … hope it’s in time for that 🙂

  55. Merrylass

“ANOTHER zip front Milano stitch sweater coming … ” I hope the new colours include ruby, black, lapis and perfectly pink!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Merrylas….ruby and lapis are my fall colors. Since this is a spring sweater it will be in Navy, white and sunburst yellow.

      1. Merrylass

Oh, I hope ruby and lapis will be available in the fall! I am still waiting to receive the 3 Milano stitch sweaters – I ordered the navy, aqua, and hibiscus. These craftsmanship on this sweater was amazing! Thanks for such wonderful pieces.

  56. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Hi Louis, a question of color/fabric: Think I could throw on the Scoop Neck Tunic (ponte knit) with pocket detail in NAVY, with the Leisure Knit boot skirt in NAVY and get a comfy good looking outfit out of it?

    1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Also adding one more color/fabric question: Might the moss crepe top be worn with the Leisure Knit boot skirt – say navy to navy or magenta and navy or black and black? Just figuring here because for me, the moss crepe skirt is about 4 inches too short for me (tights or not). I think you already said that the moss crepe top should be fine with bohos, is that right?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, again the colors are close, so yes you can wear them together. The M.Crepe is a dressier fabric, but it looks good with the cotton knit. Ideally the top and the boho look good together , but then again on certain body types it may not look good. I would not recommend it foe a short plus lady….way too much going on for me..

        1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Thank you Louis! I’m not worried about the boho option. I’m 5’7″ and always love the way that boho works for me. Thrilled that I can pair up the Linea Leisure boot skirt with some other tops. I had purchased the perfectly pink cardigan EARLY when it first came on 2 Easy Pays. When it subsequently sold out so fast I was grateful I had done that. Then QVC messed up and I got a totally different item shipped to me that had to be returned and of course I was then totally out of luck on PP, Navy and Malibu colors of the Leisure jacket in my size. Just gone. So I’m looking at other pairing options and I’m going for the tunic as well as the m.crepe options. Thank goodness for me there was a longer skirt available in the same season since the short m.crepe skirt does not work for me. You made my day! – especially since we woke up to find out another “something significant” snow storm is possibly, maybe, could-be tracking toward south eastern NH this weekend. Again! Along with the minus 18 degree real-feel temps 😉

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy…I checked my samples and the colors are very close considering the difference in fabric….with a pair of boots you are ready to go….I would recommend an ivory turtle neck under the tunic in this cold weather,

  57. Yoko

A257356 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit Oversized Sweater Perfection! Have to agree with your wife on this one. Went back for another one. I look so wonderful in this sweater with shinny jeans & boots. I don’t know how to say it, but it feels & looks like a very expensive sweater I bought a few months ago in Japan. But I like this even one better. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yoko…..I think you said it very well….Jac is even wearing it in the colors! Now that’s a break out for her!

  58. Beryl

Loved the top Jac wore with the BOHO skirt. It was a sneak peak. Any idea when it will be available?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I never know what show they put the garments in, but it should be on my March 2nd show at 2PM.

  59. Cathy in PA

A Thank You to you, Louis for testing this Lace and Milano combo in Navy, and to Kate for suggesting it. I’m thrilled to be able to wear the Navy pieces together! And, rhetorical question but … did you just say “ANOTHER zip front Milano stitch sweater coming … ” ……… !!!!! This makes me very happy 🙂

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I may have misunderstood. I was referring t the aqua lace with the aqua cardi, and they do work….the navy not so much.

      1. Cathy In Pa

That’s okay; I might not have been very clear myself. I do love the idea of the aqua lace and cardigan, and especially the yellows, but have a hard time carrying off that much of either of those colors. But not a problem; I have lots of things to wear the Navy cardigan with 🙂 The Tangerine cardigan is a real breakout departure for me … hope that color gamble plays out for me 🙂 Thanks again, Louis !

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cathy…first try it with a white T and navy bottoms…..even jeans. That should be an easy way for you to wear it…..this may open a whole new door for you……it’s really fun to try new things, it makes you feel differently to.

          1. Cathy In PA

Thanks for the advice, Louis … white T and navy jeans or pants is exactly what I hope to do with that Tangerine jacket. I was able to make the gorgeous sunshine yellow jeans jacket work just fine using that trick, plus a pretty silk scarf or two 🙂 So bright and cheerful on these dreary days … and hero Walter bought tickets for 2 weeks in the Caribbean yesterday to surprise me, so those pieces should be perfect! Thanks again!!!

  60. ceicei

Great show, and I also enjoy Antonella. Just posted on the forum that your logo jewelry has been listed. Love the two-tone option. I live near Boston and am looking at my deck with over four feet of snow. It is very unsettling. I can’t even imagine what will happens when it begins melting.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

MY SIL lives in Marble Head, and she has sent pictures! I have cousins in Shrewsbury and everyone is buried! We have been pretty lucky so far!!!

      1. Pixie

I grew up in Worcester, the next city over from Shrewsbury and apparantly Worcester broke the record for snowiest city. Woo Hoo!!! NOT!!! This is getting ridiculous, there is just no place to put any more snow. And, more snow expected Thursday/Friday (about 6 inches, which will feel like a “dusting” LOL).
Oh, and I purchased the Tangerine Milano Sweater, can’t wait to receive it. I also watched the snow with Antonella, and thought it was a very fun, relaxed show. 🙂
Thank you for your wonderful designs!!

        1. Pixie

Oops, that would be SHOW with Antonella, geez, I have snow in my brain.

  61. Cathy in PA

    Hi Louis,

Glad you got home safe and sound … those long drives in iffy weather are exhausting. I ordered the new Milano sweater in Navy and Tangerine (a huge departure for me :), after badgering CS for plus size garment measurements. Went with the larger of my 2 possible sizes, fingers crossed and hoping for the best. The show was FUN; even Walter stopped in for a minute … perhaps he’s hoping Jac will give up more family recipes LOL.

Thanks to you and to Jac!

    Cathy

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

P.S. the drive home was uneventful, but I heard on the news a few hours latter there was a huge pile-up on the NJT resulting in a death…I had been a head of it by a few hours.

      1. Cathy in PA

Our prayers are always answered when you get home safe! Many thanks for all you and Jac do,

        Cathy (and lurker Walter 🙂

  62. Happy Lady

Is there any hope the new Milano sweater/jacket A263783 will have more inventory coming in the colors you introduced today? I got the tangerine but the hibiscus pink sold out while I was in the ordering process. I’m spoiled. I always get everything item I want; this is a first. Bummer!

  63. Sharon

Hello Louis, I went ahead and ordered the new Milano sweaters in all the colors without knowing the sizing for plus sizes. I couldn’t believe that they never showed the sizes but I was willing to take the chance. The new stripe sweaters when will they be coming? I will need one of each in all the colors. Will there be just cardigan or matching tanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon…I hope the new Milano sweaters work. I did tell my buyers about the measurements, but that really is not her department. She told the production department, but posting measurements isn’t their department either….so you see how complicated it can get……round Robyn…The stripe sweaters are coming in Oct….but you don’t need every color….you MUST take yourself in hand….LOL….there are already matching navy and black tanks that go with them [which you probably own!]….no stripe tanks

      1. judy

Louis, Is this a mistake—–The stripe sweaters are coming in Oct?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy….sometimes I have to laugh at myself!!! I meant March….I must be more tired than I thought…..driving 3 hours in this weather can ware you down!

          1. Yvette

            Whew, you had me worried!

      2. Sharon

Well Louis I only saw 3 different colors and I love all of them so I must have all three. I’ll have you know that my whisper knits go twice a week to therapy for my broken shoulder and my Therapist loves them and is shocked that I have them in every color. How was Antonellas ankle, did you have to carry her off set and off to the hospital?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon….I left Antonella in the care of three hulking producers….Jac and I couldn’t wait to scram and get on the road before they got really bad.

  64. Jane J.

Great show this afternoon, Louis! Really enjoyed the good vibe between you and Antonella and it was just such a fun relaxed show to watch. She really gave you the opportunity to explain the clothes in detail — wonderful! She is so down to earth and such a sweetheart. Even though she said otherwise, she’s “A team” in my book!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I adore Antonella and she is easy to work with…..With some it’s like doing battle and I’m exhausted after the show, but she realizes I know so much more about the clothes that she just lets me go. She makes sure the pertinent info is given out and then it’s about having a good time. With her….what you see is exactly what you get……she is a sweetheart

      1. Sheesh

That’s so nice to k now—Antonella does come across as a very genuine, good-natured person. Looks like you are home in CT safe and sound already—yes?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Sheila…back home and glad to sleep in my own bed! The ride was pretty good, and the traffic, to my surprise, was light, even over the GWB. We aren’t getting anything like you up in Boston. My SIL lives in Marble Head Neck and she reports that she’s buried!

          1. Sheesh

Louis, I’m in Western Massachusetts, right along the east side of the Connecticut River on the CT border—90 miles west of Boston and straight north of Hartford, right off Route 91. We’re the forgotten part of Massachusetts–between Boston and the Berkshires. But that’s OK, I can be in NYC in a little more than 2 hours drive—I like that convenience a lot!

Will there be any Aqua WK tops coming to go with the Aqua Milano jacket? I missed out on the Aqua WK pieces a few years ago. There are some WK pieces in Turquoise—will those work? Will the Denim Pant in Turquoise work with the Milano? Thanks.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shelia there are no aqua sweaters planned a s yet, but I see as I work on Spring…I will have to add more aqua. The turquoise looks great with the navy, tangerine, and the Hibiscus, but not the aqua….it’s too strong. The aqua denim and aqua lace are a perfect match.

      2. JBCinSD

I find Antonella so objectionable that I can’t watch any of her shows. Because I so love your clothes, Louis, I watched today with the sound off. Perhaps she is a sweetheart, but she’s an airhead who goes off on tangents, cackles, says inappropriate things. Last time I watched her with the sound on, she told all about her horse but never got to the colors of the item offered.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear JBCinSD. I have heard about some loving Antonella and some not so. I have to say I never feel I am in a battle with her trying to say something. She always takes the back seat and lets me explain the garments….others feel they must dominate, which can make it uncomfortable for me. I will say I have heard negative and POSITIVE comments about those hosts too, so everyone has their own likes and dislikes…..When you are standing there talking I really don’t hear the cackling you refer to. I guess being in the moment and thinking about what I want to say concerning the garment that all disappears, but when you are always waiting to get a word in with other host, and not want to seem rude it can be very tiring.I totally understand what you are saying, but I can handle her and rein her in…

          1. andrea

Louis, you looked so relaxed with Antonella. I loved it when you used an ‘Italian expression” and she cracked up. Helpful also, when it refers to how a model is built.

  65. Kate

Would this lace top (A252346) work under the new sweater/jacket or is it better to go with a straight knitted piece like another sweater? I thought the aqua lace might be pretty with the knit, but it might be too much going on. (I fully expect you to tell me you send your samples to a shelter!)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….I have them home….I couldn’t quite part with them yet. I really like the yellow lace skirt with the new stripe sweater. I’ll check tomorrow.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

OK….I’m home and I checked…..I’m really good…LOL the lace in Aqua looks perfect with the Aqua cardi….I mean perfect! It also looks great with the navy as well…..and the yellow lace is the perfect match to another zip front Milano stitch sweater coming in March…I think in March…one never knows what planning intends to do with these clothes.

      1. Debbie M.

You really make it impossible to to show any restraint in ordering.

      2. Kate

I’m so glad! This, of course, is the genius of your line and why its such a great deal for customers; your clothes have a long lifespan and frequently work back to each other. I have the navy lace top and will pair them.
