I know some of you are already aware that the A228340, “shabby chic” cardigan is now posted on the web site and is doing very well. It will be interesting to see how many are left by the 19th. As you know, each one looks great with jeans for a real casual look…..but it also can be dressed up for an evening out where you want to put the jeans away. With the TEAL, try your gray heather drawstring pant, with the MAGENTA…. the purple long crushed velvet skirt looks great, and it’s on CLEARANCE. The GREEN, looks terrific with all of your spruce green bottoms including the green Boho skirt for that true Boho chic look. I think offering these pieces early is a great way to avoid all of the problems with deliveries, back orders and all the other problems many of you have experienced…..so if you are interested, as many of you have already ordered, I wouldn’t wait too long….just wanted you to know what’s up. “October Sneak Peek # 11” is a Sunday SURPRISE….well hardly a surprise since you have already seen it in other sneak peeks. This is my A229476, DRAPED FRONT TOP. As you can see it is VERY similar to the A219799, PYTHON PRINT draped top, which many of you have asked me to do in SOLID COLORS. As I said, this top is SIMILAR to but not exactly like the python one [when you change fabrics adjustments have to be made]. The Python top was in a 91% polyester 9% spandex fabric, and this new one is in a 96% rayon 4% spandex fabric. This top is also a little longer than the python top, but you can easily pull in up to wear as you like is, and for that matter stretch it down too….if you so desire. As for the fit…… I find them very similar too, however the feel of the fabrics is very different. The rayon is softer and has more drape to it. If you are in between sizes you can certainly take the smaller size, which I “PERSONALLY”  prefer, BUT I have learned not to give TOO MUCH advise when it comes to fit because EVERYONE likes things to “fit” differently and everyone has their own opinion whether something fits or not. I have read “fits like a glove” and “terrible fit” ALL for the same garment in the same size……..so you are on your own!!!!!LOL. The colors are ………….VIOLET…….TEAL……BLACK………..and YES they match the new jackets……..there isn’t any topaz in this top….the buyer could only buy three colors so we opted fo the black which looks great with the Topaz……maybe if it’s reordered and you ALL want the TOPAZ…we will do it. What  to say about this top….it is PERFECT under jackets…..feminine and sexy….men love this kind of top on women. It is great belted or not and it is certainly the perfect background for lots of JEWELRY…….or a single cross as my J264036, BYZANTINE CROSS…..still one of my FAVORITE pieces….and one of yours too. The black beads [you must wear two strands] look fabulous on the TEAL….with the teal jacket or a black jacket or nothing but a pair of black WK PANTS. The purple is the perfect color for all of the BYZANTINE jewelry……please notice the J270116, chandelier earring which has all the colors of the Byzantine pieces. The Black top is perfect for all of your silver, gunmetal and gold. In this case the new GOLD and BLACK CROSS mixed with the new BLACK/GOLD enamel station necklace [coming] and the Multi cross and LOVE KNOT necklaces. It is very subtle but the A270121, 18 inch Love Knot necklace plays an important part, as it brings the focus BACK up to the face. My new DEMI HOOP earring is total PERFECTION with any and all of these choices….whether you go….GOLD…….SILVER …or……..GUNMETAL……This top is all about GLAMOR and COMFORT!!!!!….Enjoy…….much Love…..Louis

“October Sneak Peek #10”, is A229475, the……. HERRINGBONE BRUSHED BOUCLE JACKET………..As the season has progressed from my July transition group with the light weight herringbone faux linen jackets to the August Mushroom and Black plaids….onto the  Sept. tweed jackets……I felt a strong need for a jacket in FABULOUS SOLID COLORS…. The hard part was finding just the right fabric…..after sampling a few different fabrics, and lab dipping them to see which held the color best, I decided on this beautiful 75%polyester, 25% wool blend. It has a herringbone weave which you can just about make out in the photo of the teal swatch. The fabric starts out as a herringbone weave with a fine loop boucle yarn……which is then clipped and slightly brushed to give the fabric a wonderful hand………it almost has the feel of a boiled wool, though it is not. Needles to say, due to the wool content, the COLORS are DEEP, RICH, and SATURATED……………Your choice, which will be a very difficult one, is……..VIOLET……………..TEAL………………TOPAZ…………..ALL BEAUTIFUL!! Of course it is fully lined in a lovely satin. It has three patch pockets which melt away into the jacket and each pocket has a dyed to match working button. It is a three button front jacket, and it has long sleeves. THE SHAPE and LENGTH…….the jacket is approx. 25 inches long for the XS , which is the same length as the tweed blazer, A228371. The shapes, thought not exactly the same, are similar enough that whatever size you were comfortable wearing in the tweed…. would hold true for this new jacket. THE WEIGHT……..If you found the mushroom, or black plaid jacket, or the tweed jackets on the heavy side……you will find this one on the heavy side TOO…………I do not find them so, and this is why…… when you are dealing with fall fabrics with texture, whether they are wool blends or not, there is always going to be added weight to the fabric…..this is what gives them their CHARACTER….or else you are left with a flat or nondescript lighter weight fabric……Beware of boucle fabrics that are light as air. To achieve that they are probably loosely woven acrylic fabrics………not that acrylic is bad [Chanel jackets that are thousands of dollars have acrylic in them], but they probably are not the best quality yarn and the loose weave can cause pulls and piling….they will not last the test of time……it also makes the fabric less expensive…..less yarn used. You will not find any of that with these jackets……Yes, for the Southern Ladies, due to the climate, granted this will probably be more of an outerwear jacket……but I consider this a winter blazer. This is the time to pick up a solid color jacket, as I am not doing anything else like this for the remainder of the fall season……….For those of you who live a more casual life style….this is the perfect blazer to wear with jeans, a WK sweater or the Kate or Robyn shirts…..it will also look fun with a hoodie worn under it for those real CHILLY DAYS……it’s a great HIT OF COLOR. I am sure you have a ton of things that will look perfect with these colors. As you can see from the photos above, there will be more pieces coming  on the Oct show that you can mix and match with these jackets. Also the new group of  WK ESSENTIALS, due in Nov-Dec, will also be in colors that work back to these jackets. The jewelry choices are getting more and more numerous, and if you have been collecting the Linea jewelry from the beginning, you already have many options. The new jewelry pieces, the beads, Baroque cross and station necklaces look great. The brand new demi, “WEAR ANYTIME” small hoop IS the perfect wear anytime earring with these jackets, and of course ALL OF THE BYZANTINE pieces, the crosses and LOVE KNOTS were made for these jackets, whether you wear them all layered….or simply just the cross…..you will be making a strong statement….The new CHANDELIER EARRING J270116, is the other perfect option for a more BOHO dramatic look…..A word of advise…..do not look at the QVC photo of this earring or you will turn into STONE!……Trust me….if you like CHANDELIER earrings you will love this one….it goes with everything……..There will be even more choices in the months to come!!!!!………………..I guarantee you will TURN HEADS! …………………………….. I truly think your only problem when selecting this jacket is going to be……………………………which color don’t I get?????!!!!!

“October Jewelry Sneak Peek #9” is J271859…..which I call the “Baroque Cross”….QVC has given it another name….as long as you have the “J ” number you’re good to go. The ” Enamel Station Necklace”, J271861 is not avail yet, but it is coming! The colors are …..WINE/GOLD…….OLIVE/GOLD……..BLACK/GOLD………..for both the cross and the station necklace. The cross is approx. 30 inches long, and it looks so much more than the $39.50 that it is being sold for. At that price it ought to fly. The Station necklace is 39 inches long plus a 3 inch extender. Add your gold Knots and your Gold cross necklaces and earrings with any of the three colors. With the BLACK you can add your Black and Gold bead necklace….add you wine pearls to the wine cross, wine station necklace and gold knots and crosses…..OH YES….layer it ON!!! My BIG PLAN for you is to give you a JEWELRY WARDROBE where you can continually mix and match…….layer or take away depending on your mood and the occasion……In the photps above I have simply put the pieces with a BLACK and AUBERGINE turtleneck…..and the TARRAGON WK tunic………………………….

What is not in the photo above is the A270391………please do not look at the photo QVC has put up for this earring…..you are better off buying it sight unseen!!! TRUST ME…..this is a must have earring in every color…..GOLD………SILVER…….GUNMETAL………It is the PERFECT “SMALL” PUFFED DEMI HOOP EARRING that will work with absolutely EVERYTHING you own from me and everything you own period. “October Sneak Peek #8”, is A72448, THE WHISPER KNIT TURTLENECK. Since the new colors………..TOPAZ…………FUCHSIA………TEAL……have been listed on the LINEA QVC SITE and are avail. to be ordered….I thought I should make haste and post them so you could actually see what you are buying!!! In the photos above you will see the Topaz, Fuchsia, Teal and Black…..though many of your favorites have been reorder too. The photos that best show the actual colors are the ones that are deeper. The flash has lighten many of the other pictures. The Topaz sweater is the one that I showed with the tweeds on the last show and mixed with the AUBERGINE  and TARRAGON sweaters…..it is a TRUE FALL COLOR and not one you will find very often. Don’t bother to ask if the other clothes in the pictures will be on the OCT. show, because the answer is YES…..all except the black leather jacket which is SOLD OUT!!!! YEAH!!!!ALL of the jewelry in the photos IS LINEA…..however some is now “vintage” since it is sold out [like the wine pearls and the black beads with the gold spacer beads]. One other thing that will not be avail. is the necklace and earring in the upper right on the fuchsia TN. That particular coloration was not bought…..the ones in the photos to the extreme left, on the TOPAZ sweater, have been bought and will be avail. shortly. They are also the beads and earrings I showed on the tweeds.  Perhaps, if the beads do well I can bring the Black/Fuchsia/ Violet combination to you next year. The broach on the Teal blazer will be avail sometime in Nov-Dec. All belts and the Leopard Hair Calf bag are vintage and are part of my collection……..Someday, when and if, QVC wants me to add more accessories to the collection….I will be more than ready.
