…………………………RUSSIAN GOLD takes on a vintage look when plated on chain. The tassel is topped with a Russian Gold and Crystal pave cone shaped cap. I love the gold peeking though the crystals, because you see the crystals more clearly, and again gives the piece a vintage look. This works on so many colors, but I have chosen the Dk. Olive Crepe Gauze Tunic, a reorder, and the matching pant. These pieces will look like you bought them at an estate sale. I always wonder the history of pieces I see at estate or antique jewelry sales….Who wore them and where. ………………………….COPPER OX is one of my new favorite plating colors. There is something so feminine about the color……like a deeper more muted pink gold…. The oxidation once again gives the necklace a vintage expensive look. ………………………..Here is the new CASCADE PEARL & FACETED BEAD NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J390525…………..You rarely find HOT PINK or Fuchsia GLASS BEADS, so that is what makes THIS necklace VERY SPECIAL………………There are five rows of randomly mixed ivory pearls and glass beads suspended from fine chain. In between each pearl and glass bead there is a small gold spacer bead. The earring has a small gold bead top from which hangs a Hot Pink bead and then an ivory tear drop pearl with a gold cap…………….Above, are just a few ways you can wear the Hot Pink necklace. ………………………..I rarely do any jewelry using flowers as a theme. It’s difficult to keep them from looking too literal or too cute……it’s just my preference. However, this season with flowers being such a strong theme in prints and appliques, I felt compelled to do some flower jewelry. I took on the challenge. I hope you like it……..I decided to do something very modern in metal. No color, nothing fancy, nothing to limit how it can be worn…..I pared the design down to its’ bare essence……..I call this my “FLOWER POWER NECKLACE and EARRING SET”, J390567. There are two flowers in the design. One is a larger open flower and the other smaller flower is solid. All are highly polished for a very modern look. The chain I have chosen is simple but has character, and its’ open small link works perfectly with the flowers…..The Earring has a ball stud at the top and a smaller version of the open flower hanging from the chain…..pierced only…….For me, this set is very MODERN, but for some it may remind them of the 60s and a show called “Laugh In”…..The show used a flower similar to the flower in the necklace………Remember, at the time it was also considered VERY MODERN…..I think it has stood the test of time, and continues to be timeless and yes, MODERN…………..Spring and flowers may be a cliche, but it’s a beautiful one.
