……………………..This particular NYLON/ACRYLIC yarn dyed colors incredibly. They were saturated and vivid……..Here is the PEACOCK!

……………………..Cathy and Karen paid me a visit! They arrived at noon on Saturday, and I had some snacks prepared. It was a rainy bleak day so I had the fireplace already on for their arrival. We opened a bottle of Santa Margarita white wine, and spent a cozy afternoon….Cathy and I did a cookie swap….and Karen, a true animal lover, gave each of us little bird feeders!!!…….We had a 7pm reservation at a restaurant called Luganos in Old Greenwich Ct…..Of course we started with some cocktails at the bar, and then had a delicious dinner……We came back to my place and decided to watch a movie, but no one could decide what to watch…..so I made the choice…….”FUNNY FACE” with Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire and the wonderful Kay Thompson [Liza Minelli’s godmother]. Neither of them had seen it, and they didn’t even know who Kay Thompson was!!!! “THINK PINK!!!” I figured this was a safe bet….How could you go wrong with Audrey and Fred on location in PARIS!!!!!???…..I didn’t know Cathy wasn’t fond of musicals!!! Before I knew it they were both asleep and I was watching the movie by myself!!!…..We got up early and went to the ELM STREET DINER for an enormous breakfast, and then we took a drive to Westport and went to “TERRAIN” to shop around…..It’s always a fun store to browse…….Then back to my house, and they packed up the car, and off they went………Both of the girls said….”visiting me was like a vacation” That was a nice thing to hear!

………………………The PONTE KNIT TOPPER/HOODIE was the focal piece with the TULIP Ponte maxi skirt and the knit legging…..The SWING TOPPER had wonderful seaming to create the shape. Patch pockets, and an asymmetric hem gave the topper a modern look. The colors for this grouping were Black, Sapphire, Beet Red, Heather Charcoal Grey Walnut, Hunter Green, and Wine.

………………….The PONTE KNIT  BLACK SWING HOODIE paired with the legging looks SLEEK and MODERN 10 years latter. Add a white WK TN and silver beads to accent the look.

…………………….PONTE KNIT done in a very casual, but high fashioned topper. The BEET RED mixed with the CADET BLUE cashmere knit TN and scarf is a wonderful luxe color combination. I added a pair of skinny distressed jeans for a look that is always modern and current!
