“NOTICE!”

I was reading reviews….I always do. A women gave the tights a bad review, and she never received them because she lives in California. They weren’t shipped to her because of this new Law in CAL. She is under the misconception that the tights will cause cancer, and that is the reason they won’t be shipped into the state. That is so far from the truth. The problem is my manufacturer has gotten the paper work required, and has to complete and submit it. Since this is a law protecting against lead, and there is absolutely no lead in the product, he was caught unaware of this law! Now he’s trying to scramble to get the paper work done and get it processed so he can ship to California…..It is not because they will cause CANCER as this woman claims…..This is how rumors start. I have no idea how long this will take as the government is involved, and there are many many companies going through the same thing. When I know you will know……You are perfectly safe wearing the tights as they are the same as always just with the control top!…………………………..Louis

No wonder these tights are so heavy; must be all the lead in them. SMH on my desk, but these days, I do that a LOT.

Louis- I live in Los Angeles and I received my tights last month. I guess this
must be something recent. By the way your show with Mary Beth was great. I purchased
    the port and mushroom blazers.

I live in SoCal and just realized that sheets I ordered were not delivered. I guess that brand has not submitted their paperwork either.

Louis, How unfortunate! I am certain the Q was aware that this was coming and that it would go into effect August 30th. On the Q’s Forum there are many Threads about this issue – some Denim & Co products, cosmetics, luggage etc. cannit be shipped by the Q into California. I have not seen any message from the Q as to what they’re doing to rectify this situation. When I tried to order the Tights, Customer Service could not tell me why they were unable to accept my order I found out by searching through the Forum. It seems to be a labelling issue. Not good planning.

I agree. This is entirely the Q’s problem. Labeling of the items should have been in the works as there was plenty lead time about this new law being passed in CA.

My mushroom suit has shipped; waiting for the port blazer and pants to ship now.
