“THE YELLOW/NAVY WINDOWPANE SHIRT/JACKET”

……………………..This is a light soft pretty yellow…not a bold in your face bright taxi cab yellow…….I think the cabs are totally gone now…..too bad the old ones were so BIG inside…………..This YELLOW is accented with NAVY. The turn back cuff and under collar are all solid NAVY………..Pull out everything you own in navy and it should work with this top! JEANS, denim of all colors….from the darkest indigo to the most washed out blues should all work………Wear everything from strappy sandals, clogs, wedges, and sneakers depending on the occasion and your lifestyle…..Yellow and gold are a natural match, so to keep it on the casual side I have chosen the NEW 20th ANNIVERSARY PENDANT!!!!! YES ladies, this year I have been with QVC 20 years. I will have been with QVC longer than I was with ANNE KLEIN…..it’s hard to believe……………the years just go by…………….I can’t say they flew…….buy they went!……………………………………..

enjoy……………..much Love…………………….Louis

Hi, Louis, Ray’s dialysis will continue, but he has been handling it very well. One thing that has been reassuring and comforting is that the medical as well as the nursing care he has been receiving here locally has been excellent. Our community hospital here is consistently named the best in Virginia and on the list of the best nationally. I have been very grateful for that as well as for the direct communication with them that they have had with me and our son. Both facilities have been meticulous in maintaining protective safeguards in place for this horrid virus. Our son come down from Baltimore immediately and his wife and my grandson soon after for a week. Both parents are working remotely from home and little Austin has been attending Zoom School and doing very well. Of course both Ray and I have been missing them terribly as they always come here for Easter and usually once a month or more under normal circumstances. But we have to be very grateful for the means to be with each other electronically. To say that it has been an ordeal is a great understatement, but thank God for the wonderful support from friends far and near, neighbors, and fellow parishioners from our church. As I mentioned earlier, now has been a time to flex our spiritual muscles. I have been able to talk with Ray daily, but he has not always been able to talk to me as his throat was so sore from all the tubes and such. But he was able to hear my voice, which was very comforting to him. But he is now sounding like himself again! Michael and I have been surveying the house today to ensure that the traffic zones in the house are free of any obstacles. He has had a great deal of experience in rehabilitative care, will be checking his vitals twice daily for a while, and will be with him every step of the way whenever Ray wants to go from one place in the house to another. And of course strict protective measures will continue being in place against this wretched virus. He will be permitted “porch visits” from friends, with all masked and gloved with sanitizers nearby and maintaining distance. So much to think about with this horrible virus! ~~~Yes, a friend teased Ray in an email about being cheap by getting flowers from the garden, insisting that he have the florist deliver from here on out! But we will have a nice dinner here at home for the first time in about two months on Wednesday when he will be home at last! Love, Barbara

HI, Louis, I love wearing yellow in the warm weather months, so this yellow will be for me! I have two in the original silk, the black on white and the red on medium blue. They still look gorgeous! I have been MIA for about two months now as Ray slipped and fell in our garden cutting some flowers for me. He broke his leg very close to his hip bone and had a hip replacement as the surgeon determined that would be the best way to put him back together. The surgery was uneventful and went very successfully, but he crashed the next day with three separate and serious conditions. Two of the conditions were finally resolved and he is now on dialysis three times a week. Another complication ensued and he has been in skilled nursing and PT/OT for the last several weeks. I sure you understand the extreme stress and anxiety I have been experiencing as well as, of course, how difficult this has been for Ray. AS all health facilities have been locked down completely, I could not even visit him this entire time. But the GREAT news is that he is now doing very well and will be coming home on Wednesday!!! At long last!!! He will continue his PT at home, and I have arranged for a very capable man to assist him in his unsteadiness and any lifting him as necessary for awhile. Ray is very determined and of course being home can only spreed his complete recovery. So I have not been writing reviews! I will get to them very shortly, including one for the wonderful 20th Anniversary commemorative necklace that arrived last week.

Oh Barbara….This is the worst news….poor Ray. He has been going through hell, and with you not being able to be by his side is the worst of all. Falls are never good, and to have such an out come is devastating. I am so happy to hear he is able to come home and is on the road to complete recovery. Can I assume that he no longer has to be on dialysis? That in its’ self is so debilitating. Knowing many people with hip replacements the best results come when a strict PT regiment is followed so the hip doesn’t freeze up. It’s a good thing that Ray is determined, but he shouldn’t overdo it either. I know you will be there to watch over him. Boy, the two of you have been though quite a lot in the past few years…..Instead of cutting the flowers maybe it will be just wiser to go out and smell them. I guess Jac was smart when she would never let me cut the Lilacs….LOL…..I can see you in the yellow!….wonderful… and I’m so happy to hear you like the Anniversary pendant…..Please send Ray all of my best, best wishes. I know once he is in his home all will be well. Have as good a Mother’s Day as you can…………..much Love…………Louis

Loved this shirt the first time around and wore it until it wore out! Thanks for bringing it back, and love that it will be longer! Does the Navy match the Navy knit skirt? Stay Well!! Thanks for your lovely clothing and jewelry!

Debby….which navy knit skirt? The ponte or the WK or another? Even though they are all navy they may vary. When you let me know, an A number would be great, I can compare them if I still have the sample.

Ooooh, loving the yellow. It will look great with jeans. May need the white or aqua one too though. The original windowpane shirts were before my time here, so glad you were able to bring something similar back.

Thank you for the sneak peek!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Hi Louis,

Does the buttercream tank look good with the yellow windowpane shirt/jacket.

This is the one for me! Love it! Especially the navy contrast. I do not have a silk one that looks anything like this.
