“Reminiscing”

With my 20th Anniversary here, and thinking of all the wonderful people I have meet over the last 20 years…..there are some names and women that I haven’t heard from in a long time….One name that popped into my head was Blinddogs. She used to post quite often, and then silence…. Does anyone communicate with her? I remember her love for green, and she would buy anything I did in green. I will always be grateful to her because she was one of the strongest voices who brought me back to QVC. There was also a lovely lady from Alaska who was a real fashionista. She had a wonderful sense of style, and liked to be on the edge…..It’s been so long I can’t remember her name. Are there women that you remember who haven’t been heard from in a long time. I sometimes think of them and wonder where they are, and hope they are well.

I haven’t read any posts from “NameAlreadyTaken” recently. She has been a frequent contributor to the Linea forum on QVC. I hope she is well as I recall she had several health challenges.

    Goldie76,

Just today a “few” Linea items arrived and I was so thrilled to open them. I retire June 19 and do not need more clothes, but I get so much joy from them. When I’m in Linea, I’m reminded to smile and take on the world:-)

    Have a great day, Goldie!

Louis, yes- I have contributed often on your website. I posted the very day you started louisdellolio.com! What a day that was. I always post as Celia here not Tristan111. There is a lovely someone named Cela, but as far as I know I’m the only Celia.
Over the years I’ve called in to the show and been able to talk to you, once when you were showing the famous safari shirt and tank. So much fun:-)

    Celia,

What a delight to hear from you! It is such a relief to hear back from those we’ve wondered about. Your moniker of “Tristan 111” always seemed so mystical and beautiful to me. As the years pass, many of us need fewer new things for our wardrobe, but Linea continues to keep us excited and entice us, doesn’t it?

Once again, so good to hear from you. I always admired the Linea pieces you selected.

    Goldie76,

I am Tristan 111 and still alive and kickin’! Thanks for thinking of me. I remember the days when the QVC forum started. I remember my first linea order more than 12 years ago- a caramel tunic with stand collar a la Audrey Hepburn, which I still have. There was no turning back! My fondness for Louis and Linea and the Linea Ladies is still going strong. So fortunate!

Celia, am I crazy or don’t you often visit my website and contribute???

So good to hear from you, Susan (aka Carly Twila)! Such good news learning that you simply changed your handle. Ah yes, our Linea fashions are so uplifting and bring us joy. There is an individual who “speaks” only on the Linea QVC Forum (as far as I can tell) and not here, and I will paraphrase her thought here. She said that she will wear her beautiful clothing for whatever reason she can find, if only to pick up the mail. I’m with her!

Goldie76! I am here! 🥰 All is well – just quietly enjoying my Linea!

i wondered what happened to Gardensla. She posted all of the time. I hope she is well.

Joanne, Gardensla [Kate], moved to Florida for a wonderful new job. Sh did post recently here and on the forum recently, but yes she did post more frequently, and she is missed.

Where are “infobabe,” “Tour Eiffel,” “Carly Twila,” “tristan111” and “farmer wife”? I hope they are all well.

I hope they see this and know they all have been on our minds. Be well everyone. That’s the best thing anyone could wish for.

I remember Blind Dogs and her love of green! I also remember how much I enjoyed Natural Born Women’s posts about her fashion choices. She stopped doing them ages ago, which was disappointing. But the Q Forum became a negative place – I stopped posting there, too – and I always wondered if that’s why she stopped. Another favorite was always Gardensla – I noticed her posts because we tended to have the same taste and style. When she liked something, I always checked it out. Is anyone in touch with her?

I, too, remember Blinddogs, who thrilled to all your lovely clothes that came in green; Natural Born Woman, who referred to her significant other as “Mr. Handsome” (I think), was a risk-taker in her work and her dressing style and owned all your Fiesta color Whisper Knits; Shopsy; and HAPPY LADY, who chose to sign off in all caps.

HAPPY LADY was last heard from while visiting a mountainous region of Italy. You asked her where she was specifically, and she never wrote back. We never heard from her again. As I recall she was married and had five daughters for whom she bought multiple Linea garments.

There are a couple others whose names escape me now.

Louis, I communicate with Natural Born Woman aka Pam. Let me reach out to her and see how she’s doing. I haven’t seen a post on Facebook from her in a week or so. She is definitely up there in Alaska. I’ll get back to you. Sheila

Hi Louis, I think the lady in Alaska is Pamela in Anchorage. She always wrote about her “Pretty much Picasso” petunias.

Louis, I remember Blinddogs and here love of everything Green – and her mission to keep you in the Q.

The lady from Alaska I think is Natural Born Woman.

I remember a poster called Shopsy who has not posted in quite some time.

There were two ladies I remember posting from Alaska, both loved clothes. One flew a sea plane and sent a picture of herself in front of it. I believe Blinddogs name is Nancy. If she’s reading this I send her a big HELLO!
