“THE FEATHER JERSEY TUNIC”

The FEATHER JERSEY TUNIC is A233190………..the fabric and colors……………….BERRY…………..WALNUT………….OLIVE…………are the same as the pant. This is a LOOOOOOOOG tunic. It measures 32 inches to the center front. This measurement was taken with the garment hanging on the hanger not flat on the floor. Sometimes hanging measurements can be a little longer than when you measure a garment flat on a table…..we all know about GRAVITY! The sides have longer points, but not extreme. I can hear some sighs now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the question…..why so long? My answer is simple….that is the style I wanted for this particular tunic. If I had made it  4 or 5 inches shorter it would have had a totally different look, and naturally it would have been a totally different style. My intent was for it to cross over as a dress, for some, and a tunic…..all could wear with my leggings as the photo to the far bottom left…..just wear a great Roman sandal or a pair of wedges, to give you a little extra height, and you will look fabulous. It can be worn with a variety of bottoms, Capri pants, slim crops, a pencil skirt and  with the matching FEATHER JERSEY pant. It’s all very light weight, very flowing without having  too much fabric, and very relaxed. It’s the closest you will come to being totally dressed, but FEEL like you are wearing NOTHING. The sleeve length is short, but not too…..neither is it too long…..I wanted to keep it cool. It has a V-neck, so take note when you are ordering…..it is not a crew. There is a definite shape to the upper part of this garment, and then the bottom flows. This is not a MATERNITY TOP. This is right in step with the most CURRENT FASHION. For those who want to change it up………belt it………it looks fabulous that way too…… but………on those days when you don’t want any fabric to touch your body……………this is the answer. I can not express enough how weight less and cool these FEATHER JERSEYS are…….even though they are polyester! I know some will take a pass…… not everything is for everybody…………….but for those of you who give it a try…………..you will want an entire wardrobe in this fabric………………….and it’s COMING!……………….enjoy……………much Love………………Louis

Watched you on QVC tonight you talked about your feathered jersey on qvc website only. Could not find anything. Called qvc customer service is it in or coming in.

Dear Carole, the Feather Jersey group of clothes will be avail in May

  2. Cela

I’ll be getting all three, this is my perfect tunic length, THANK YOU!!!! This is so much more elegant than cotton tees, which, to me, are more fun to sleep in. 🙂

Wait until you see the rest of the FEATHER JERSEY group!

I love these colors for the summer. They are beautiful. I will get the berry and the walnut tunics for sure.

  4. Pecan Cookie

Thanks for the SP! That walnut column is very elegant with the goldtone seed beads. I cannot wait. I also like the way you are giving us strong wardrobe builders that mix and match. The possibilities of looks is becoming endless. Thank you are not words enough.

Dear Pecan Cookie….I know I’ve said it….but….I love your name!……..This is just the beginning….so much more to come.

My weakness are these two bite cinnamon pecan shortbread cookies in a local supermarket (their brand). I stay away from them because I can down them like popcorn, one after the other, especially with a good cup of coffee. No willpower there! Cheers!

I wake up every morning with the best intentions….but they get washed away with my morning shower!

I knew I should have put this on waitlist while it was up…ack! Luv it. The length will make it very versatile for me as it will allow me to pile on the necklaces, or a big thick belt, or 3 skinny ones in different colors.

Louis, what is the sleeve length on this beautiful top?

Also – as to how the feather jersey behaves – is it likely to grab the backside – sorry about that very inelegant choice of words! – or will it skim and slip and slide right over it?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

This fabric does not cling at all….it just glides over the body……it has a very graceful movement…….it has a very very slight texture and almost has the look of a silk/linen jersey. It also is not matte….it has a slight sheen when the light hits it a certain way….the way a mercerized linen would. The sleeve is approx. 9 1/4 inches long from the top of the cap to the hem. The V-neck and the sleeve hem are also finished off with separate attached bands to give it an extra detail.

I noticed the neck band and really, really like that, but hadn’t noticed it on the sleeve hem. Nice length on the sleeve. I’m definitely giving this one a try! Would I be right in assuming that you would say that while the Ikat top goes well with the feather jersey pant – you probably would not put the feather jersey tunic top together with the ikat skirt – due to “volume” issues – or no? I LOVE the pebble crepe tunic together with my bohos but this may not have the same effect – ?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

All of the Ikat top0s work with these pants and that is how I showed two of them in the show…..check out the video of the top. The tunic is too long to where over the Ikat skirt.
