“THE BLUE LINEA LEISURE TUNIC”

wcs1

………………………..The BLUE TUNIC, A267874……….is my newest addition to my LINEA LEISURE collection……….Why do I call it Leisure and then show it with a boot skirt?…….because I want to show the versatility of these pieces…..and the skirt is the NAVY Linea Leisure skirt, A262069, in the cotton/span knit, so it still qualifies as a “leisure” outfit….right? …..You can easily wear the top with jeans, leggings, or again, with a skirt or my SLIM DRESS PANTS, A265615, for work…..The top is already posted on the Linea QVC site and ready for ordering……This isn’t scheduled to be aired until August 31st so you really are getting a jump. The Q is posting them quicker than I can photograph them!!…….All of the details, measurements and such, are posted on the site, but what it doesn’t tell you is this. The hand and weight of the fabric is similar to the weight of the Ponte knit I use for dresses. That makes it extremely flattering on the body, and SMOOTHS OUT any figure flaw you may have. There will be absolutely NO CLINGING with this fabric……..The pattern knitted into the fabric is interesting too. It is not a print…..I have been using striated and marled knits for quite a while, but this one is different. There are a series on uneven, thin broken horizontal lines knitted into the fabric. Now imagine the pattern is on a billboard on the road side and you are wizzing by……you’ll understand when you see it……. It has PRINCESS SEAMS front and back and then starts to flare out over the rib cage. This should make all of my apples and pears very happy. It should actually make all of you very happy as it is a very youthful silhouette. I would say the fit on this is spot on, and I know the great majority of you will be very pleased……so feel comfortable ordering your regular size….That said you should always check the measurements. I’d say the two important measurements here are the shoulder and bust……The waist and hip measurement are inconsequential due to the flared silhouette……The sleeves are long, and the open jewel neck is…..PERFECT for all kinds of necklaces and accessories……For just a little more detail I have added a THREE BUTTON HENLEY OPENING at the neck…..use it or not. I am very confident, no matter what your lifestyle, that this will be a favorite piece in you refreshed fall wardrobes……great for travel or just going through your daily routine…….. The Lariat should be arriving at the end of the month…..hopefully in time for the show. The Lariat in the pictures was the first sample and not quite correct, but it will look like this………………. The tunic top is super comfortable which should make you super happy!………………………………………………………………………………………enjoy…………………………much Love…………………………… Louis

Having a reddish hue to my hair, I ordered the moss which I can wear with my Linea green jewelry pieces. I also ordered the falling leaves necklace in gold. Living in a little renovated vintage farmhouse in Wisconsin, the black-eyed Susan’s and Hollyhock next to the barn tell me fall is just around the corner. It is too soon to refresh my fall wardrobe. Next week I am going to Quebec City with the girls – the WK sweaters will come in handy. Thanks Louis for giving us such great photos on your blog. They help give us a closer look at the fabric and I find the garment detailed descriptions very helpful.

I meant NOT to soon to refresh my fall wardrobe.

I had ordered the blue already, but I love your photos so much, you sold me the black, too! I have the LL boot skirts and now I know how I’m wearing those this fall, too.

Loving the LL line. I am hoping the pants are reordered as they are some of my very favorites. Would love to see a chocolate to go with my new dark chocolate tunic.

Louis, I already ordered the blue (before you added the photos to your blog). Very pretty, and now I’ll need to check out the other colors.

I’m waiting for the Lariat necklace. This will be perfect for me, as I’m 5′ 8″ and I can’t wear anything heavy.
