………………………The LACE INSERT TOP, A351465, is back in THREE NEW COLORS………………Ivory is one of the three……..This top has a very fragile feminine quality, and always gets very positive compliments……..The BEIGE LACE remains the same as the original colors. The color of the Ivory cotton ground is influenced by the very fine beige lace threads that are woven in the back of the fabric, and then show up for the lace. This is a very special weaving method…..sort of like a jacquard. Therefore the ivory color is not as white or pure ivory as it appears above. It is a little more creamy, but still has the same contrast as the photos above. I didn’t want anyone to think this would be a perfect match with your ivory pieces….though I do like them together…………I have used the BEIGE TANK, A304658, as the layering piece. Since the lace is see through you will need a tank. The Beige is the perfect color…………For the bottom I have used the BEIGE SUPER PONTE CAPRI PANT, A351410, which also works perfectly with the tank and lace top………………….I chose the SANTA FE necklace and earring set, J485358 in the Buttercream to accessorize the top. The combination of the pearls and the suede cords was a perfect blend. It is also very special and unique and elevates the entire look…………………..enjoy…………………………much Love………………………Louis

……………………..GRAPHITE……………..is the name of this color………………To illustrate just how the beige threads INFLUENCE the color of the garment…..this fabric was dyed BLACK!….To my surprise this beautiful grey was born!! What was to be a black and beige top turned out to be a Graphite and Beige top…..In the the business of fashion sometimes accidents create the most marvelous things…………Again, I am using the Beige knit tank and the Beige knit Capri pant……………This time I have chosen the Tan GLITTERATI NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J482966. The variation of colors in the faceted glass beads looks like this necklace was made to go with this top. You will never find anything better…………………..enjoy………………much Love……………..Louis

…………………….The MOCHA top is the third and last color……………It originally was to be dark chocolate and beige, but what came out was so much more interesting. There is a softness to the Graphite and Mocha that would not have happened if they came out as originally planned…….The color is like a creamy chestnut…….Again, the Beige tank and Beige Capri pant are used………….The CHOCOLATE MOON GLOW NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J482968, [now at a ridiculously low price], is perfection against the Mocha……………..The three new colors are all a little unusual, and colors you haven’t quite seen from Linea before, so I hope you enjoy them………………………………..much Love…………………………….Louis

………………………For twenty four years, three to four times a year, I traveled to Italy. I traveled from the north to the south and in between, creating fabrics, knit wear and shoes for Anne Klein. I was based in Florence when I was creating the knit wear collection. Not a shabby place to hang one’s hat for two weeks at a time. I stayed at the Grand Hotel on the Arno River…..It was Paradise. On my day off I always went to the Uffizi Gallery to look at the paintings. One of my absolute favorites was Botticelli’s “Birth Of Venus”…. It depicts this amazing Goddess emerging from this beautiful shell. The colors in the painting were used for my Venus shell. Over the years I used every inch of this painting as a source of inspiration. The “VENUS SHELL PENDANT” is my latest creation to “emerge” from this source of loveliness………………………………enjoy………………much Love………………………..Louis
