………………………Some may call this a “jacket”…..I prefer to call it a “BLAZER”. When you refer to a garment as a Blazer you immediately visualize what it is……a “jacket” can be anything. I have always been known for my jackets, but BLAZERS are my special love………….The very first garment, from Anne Klein’s very first collection, that put Anne Klein on the map, was her Grey Flannel Blazer. It started the whole American Sportswear craze. So I am very protective of the blazers I produce….even at these unbelievably low prices………I always say a Blazer is all about the fabric, the fit and how it hangs from the shoulder………it can be a total failure if it’s not in a fabric that tailors well……This blazer is made in the same Ponte Knit as the A302601 crop pant which is a lighter weight than the Super Ponte….[so the crop will work with the blazer too as a whole different look in a pants suit]…there is lots of STRETCH!……The jacket is numerically sized. The size 4 is approx. 28 inches long. It has a three button front. You can certainly wear it all buttoned up for a very severe look….or just the TWO TOP BUTTONS or just the SINGLE TOP BUTTON………You can always tell if a blazer or any jacket is well balanced when you wear it completely open. If it still lays well from the shoulder down you know it’s well balanced…..All that said, it also depends on body proportions. Obviously the more proportioned you are the better it will “sit”. This has nothing to do with size…………..The color is Ivory, but it is more of an off white…….The blazer has a top yoke seam which creates a strong shoulder look combined with the shoulder pads and the cap filler. There are princess seams and body darts for a great shape……I would recommend ordering the same size you did in the other blazers, the Tuxedo and the classic blazer. Some of the other details are the PATCH POCKETS, the large FAUX PEARL BUTTONS, the KEYHOLE button holes seen on fine garments and the beautiful lining. There are no buttons on the sleeve so they are easily shortened…………..The BLAZER is A347451……….Many times when I do a blazer I am given a choice of a matching pant or a pencil skirt, but not this time. I will be offering a pant in the Ivory and Navy, A347452. It has a 30 inch inseam, and has a slim leg with a 5 1/2 LEG OPENING, so with this shape leg it should work for most women…..even my tall gals. There is a zip front with button waistband and an elastic back, but the fabric has tons of stretch anyway for total comfort. I truly believe you are going to instantly fall in love with this new Ponte pant. There are no petites being offered, sorry. There is also a pencil skirt in the Ivory, Navy and Black, A347449. The length of the pull-on skirt is 22 1/2 inches…[the waist band sits a little below the waist on most]. The bottoms are not see through at all so there is no need to line them….If you would like the three pieces they will be avail…….The bottoms will also be perfect separate pieces which I will be showing through out the entire spring summer season. I say this because so many of you missed out on the black pant that matched the tuxedo jacket. I don’t want that situation to repeat itself……Above, I have the new navy pant, the new elbow sleeve sapphire sweater, A347450 and the ivory pencil skirt …….I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, for me there is nothing more glamorous than a woman in a beautifully tailored blazer….and they haven’t been more in Fashion then they are right NOW!!……………………………………………..enjoy………………………much Love………………………..Louis

…………………………There are ways to put RED, WHITE and BLUE together, and then there are SPECTACULAR ways to put that iconic color combination together. A beautiful navy blazer worn with ivory trousers and an Ivory WK sweater……all topped with a SCARLET RED TRENCH, A343460 for reg., and A343462 for petite, is pretty unbeatable, and a fantastic way to make an entrance!….To my surprise the RED TRENCH is avail in certain sizes, but there are very few in those sizes, NOW would be the perfect time to claim yours……..A good blazer must have a good SHOULDER! There is a shoulder pad and a cap filler to give a good line, and a strong shoulder without looking extreme. This will always make the waist look more nipped in even if it isn’t overly shaped……Above, you can see my NEW CASCADE necklace which was born from the BOLO necklace from last fall………….The GOLD beads are all strung on WHITE cords giving it a very fresh look. ………………………LADIES!!!!………………I know it’s January……but in the world of Fashion……it’s SPRING 2019!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So take off your winter hats and put on your spring chapeaux…….It’s time for a mind re-set…..For my southern ladies this isn’t going to be a big leap at all, where in many places 65 degrees is their winter……my poor Ladies….they must be shivering…LOL….. There isn’t a better way to introduce Spring than offering a BEAUTIFUL new FLORAL RUFFLE  BLOUSE, or a FURBELOW BLOUSE [a word that isn’t often used, but means the same as ruffle]. A347448, is the style number. The silhouette is simple. It has a button front [I like the bottom two or three buttons left open or an easier look…]. It has a  narrow banded jewel neckline, and 3/4 sleeves…..Now for the FUN…..it has CIRCULAR CUT ruffles on either side of the button front placket, and the 3/4 sleeve is finished off with a soft circular flounce….not too full. NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT SLEEVE LENGTH with this one!… The blouse is approx. 25 inches long for the size XXS . It will be avail from XXS to 3X….It has side slits for a more relaxed look, and a little more hip room………..The “Naive” Floral print is FRESH and LIGHT looking…….with small blossoms, some outlined with fine black lines. The RED combination has the palest pink shadowing……..The fabric is a very light faux de Chine. It flows and glides over the body. It is 100% polyester, but feels like silk. The fabric has “mechanical stretch”. What is mechanical stretch? This is when the fabric has the ability to stretch “due to the weave” with out the addition of spandex…..It’s easy care….machine wash…..very practical!………..I love this blouse worn on its’ own with all different kinds of bottoms including jeans. Wear it free flowing or belted, or even tucked in…..I also LOVE IT WORN UNDER CARDIGANS and BLAZERS, like the new PONTE BLAZER SUIT above, but more about that later……………The whole look is so airy and pretty and  feminine and very FLIRTATIOUS!……Of course I have a very special necklace for this blouse in all of the colors……………I know winter has just begun, and I shouldn’t want the days to speed by, but I can’t wait for SPRING and all the beautiful flowers!……………………………………………………..enjoy……………….much Love……………………….Louis

…………………………..Accessories, accessories…..you can never have enough IMHO…….You never have to worry about size or how it’s going to fit, and they can turn a nice outfit into a FABULOUS outfit…….I designed this new necklace to work with the new RED FLORAL, but you see how great it looks on a simple “new” white sweater, and a “new” black ponte skirt………The necklace is approx 44 inches long with a three inch extender. All of the GRADUATED beads are faceted glass……..It is called the FACETED BEAD GRADUATED BEAD NECKLACE and EARRING SET………The RED is a beautiful fresh light color that is perfect with all of my new spring offerings.
