……………………………….I am always searching for something new……..something I haven’t used or seen before…….I found the most marvelous resource that makes the most beautiful trims, and appliques. I used to be able to find them years ago from Swiss companies. These companies had developed machines decades ago that made the most marvelous things all translated from hand made pieces….Unfortunately, they have either gone out of business, or there prices have skyrocketed to astronomical levels……I was delighted to find this company that specializes in all kinds of trims……This tunic is all about the three dimensional floral borders. It is a simple top with a slight scoop neck. The top is numerically sized…It is approx. 25 1/2 inches for the size 4……It is made in a 100% polyester fabric that has a slight sand washed hand, so it is very soft with a matte finish. There is a mechanical stretch to the fabric so there is enough give to please everyone. It is not a rigid fabric. It has side slits for a relaxed look with extra hip room. There are bust darts for balance and shape….Unfortunately, with still photographs everything looks rigid and boxy, and you can’t appreciate the flow and the way the fabric follows the lines of the body……All of the magic happens on the 3/4 sleeve. The floral applique is BOLD yet DELICATE with a lot of detail, which is the hallmark of all the Swiss made trims. It has beautiful dimension with raised stitching and 3-D stamens on the flowers. You can see the details in the photos above…..The top may be simple, but it is beautifully sewn, which is paramount with simple clothing. This is NOT A SHAPED TOP…..Some may even call it boxy….I call is easy, because the fabric has beautiful drape, and again follows the lines of the body…..The style number is………A347453……………….I have accessorized the top with a new necklace set.
