………………..PEARLS…………..In case you haven’t noticed……….PEARLS are making a major comeback. That’s not to say that pearls are ever out of fashion, but sometimes other things take a more prominent place in the Fashion Firmament……Pearls, this season, are all over everything…..from all kinds of apparel to shoes, bags, hair ornaments, and even  eyeglasses. I have taken a more traditional approach in the way I have used pearls as ornamentation on my clothing and the jewelry I have created………..The ENR Whisper Knit sweater above, A343560,  has pearls studded on the slightly flared sleeves. There are two sizes of pearls that start at the bottom of the sleeve and are scattered to about 8-8 1/2 inches up. I say studded because these are actually PEARL  STUDS. I took this approach, because if I had them hand sewn  on the sweater there would have been a web of threads. These threads would have easily caught onto your fingers or jewelry when you went to put the sweater on. With the stud method the inside of the sleeve is perfectly clean. The quality of the perfectly round pearls is the same as the sewn on pearls. I could have had each pearl sewn on separately and hand knotted, but the cost would have been prohibitive…..and the end result would look exactly the same…….The sweater is sized from XXS to 3X. The xxs is approx. 28 inches long with approx. 4 1/2 inch side slits. The sleeve opening is approx. 7 inches on the half, so it isn’t a large flare….The length of the sleeve for the xxs is approx. 23 inches…The sweater has a very flattering Ballet neckline…..not too wide for even those with narrow shoulders….I think the BLACK with the IVORY PEARLS is ICONIC and certainly season-less. Above, I have the sweater shown with my Winter White Super Ponte pant and Black WK bottoms…the pant, the short pencil skirt and the long straight skirt……truly season-less……I have accessorized the sweater with the Torsade of Baroque Pearls, Black Jet, and Crystal Fireball beads [worn double in the photo]. Along with that the Pearl and Jet drop earring and the Pearl and Jet bracelet,  [not shown but avail. to purchase now]. For a more daytime look, I have used my brand new Ivory Pearl and Crystal Station necklace and Pearl Stud set. The faceted glass Crystal beads have a slight AB [Aurora Borealis] finish, which gives them a romantic look. These are avail right now on the Linea Jewelry site, so all of the info is avail. to you.. The photos on the site, as usual are not wonderful, so you will be pleasantly surprised when you receive them. ……………………….To coordinate with the Black and Ivory pearl sweater I have chosen to do an IVORY  GLASS PEARL and GLASS FACETED BEAD STATION NECKLACE with matching IVORY PEARL STUD EARRINGS, J387825. The Crystal bead has a AURORA BOREALIS finish…..not all over, just in certain places. When you move the beads move, and an area of the Aurora Borealis finish twinkles…….as you can see in the photos above. …………………………….NUDE PINK, with NUDE PINK Pearls and Crystals………need I say more?…….Above, I have it shown with the reorder Charcoal Heather Grey Long WK skirt. Grey is a great substitute for black when you want to soften the entire look. QVC even has a wonder pair of grey boots that I have used instead of the usual black…… Please notice how well the necklace works when it is DOUBLED……..Nude Pink is a wonder sophisticate color….not juvenile or cloying at all………I have found during my long career that pink looks well on the majority of women and gives their complexion a healthy glow!…,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..enjoy……………………..much Love………………………Louis

………………………NUDE PINK PEARLS with FACETED GLASS PINK BEADS with an AURORA BOREALIS finish is simply the most feminine piece of jewelry you can wear. The stud is slightly smaller than the pearl in the necklace. The necklace looks great long and even doubled with the three inch extender……..This is a wonderful necklace to wear with other necklaces you may already own for a layered more dramatic look…………………………………….enjoy…………………………much Love………………………..Louis

……………………ICE GREY is a new heathered color in the WK. I can’t remember using it before, and If I have it was so many years ago that I have no recall of it…………..The Pearl studs are also in a very complimentary Ice Grey color. The long necklace has the coordinating Ice Grey pearls and faceted milky glass beads that are touched with a silver grey color. They work perfectly with the heather ice grey of the sweater. The coordinating stud earring is in the ice grey pearl. For a bottom I am using my Super Ponte slim reorder pant, A298447 in the Heather Charcoal Grey..
