………………..THE SAFARI LONG SHIRT, A302565……………has all the details you would expect on a SAFARI SHIRT……The classic shirt collar with stand…dyed to match shirt buttons…….the epaulettes placed on a small shoulder yoke…….the double breast pockets and buttoned flaps………..the traditional long sleeve with buttoned cuff that can be rolled up, and held with a tab and button……side slits……….and of course BAND POCKETS!…..The entire garment is made to perfection and the top stitching is expertly done……..It is light and airy as all of the Crepe Gauze pieces are………The approx. length of the shirt is 38 inches for the xxs. I do not think this is overly long and should work for the majority of women. For very short women it may be mid calf or longer, but it is EASILY shorten. Personally, I would love it any length. As a separate shirt it would be a great accent piece to wear over many things you already own……DON”T BE AFRAID TO MIX YOUR COLORS…..even if it’s over something as simple as a white tank and black pant. Or wear the shirt and tank over black, ivory, white, tan, khaki, brown or linen pants…..just for an example…….The possibilities are endless.
………………..THE TANK, A302566….is no ordinary tank. QVC calls it a “swing tank”, but it really is just slightly A-line for hip ease. It also has side slits………However, this tank has BAND POCKETS, and the pocket “bag” is stitched through and through so there is no flapping around on the inside. Everything lays flats and clean. The shoulder straps are definitely bra friendly, and the scoop isn’t too deep at all……perfect for the warmer months…….The length is approx. 28 inches for the xxs. Again, this is a great accent piece to mix with many things you already own…..Just over a pair of Capri pants, a skirt or a pair of shorts, all coming this season, you will be ready for any and all occasions and weather conditions………Sangria is a wonderful saturated color, but don’t expect it to match other items in Sangria from the past……..Better to mix it with other colors, unless you plan to buy the companion pieces which will match.
………………THE PULL-ON PANT……is a slim-ish leg with a 7 inch leg opening. It is 29 1/2 inches long for the regular length due to the slimmer leg, so for my super tall ladies it may be more of an ankle pant, which IMHO, would look fabulous too with wonderful sandals, espadrilles and wedges……….Since the Safari long shirt and the tunic both have pockets we decided to keep the pant clean without pockets. The waist band has a full elastic with TWO ROWS of top stitching to prevent any rolling of the elastic on the inside…..It’s also a pretty finish if you should ever want to tuck something in or where it with a bodysuit……………For all of you who love that COLUMN OF COLOR, which is becoming a stronger and stronger trend on the fashion runways, these tree pieces will slenderize and keep you cool. For me this is the best kind of Spring/Summer layering.
………………The Necklace and Earring set………………I call……..POMPEII, and came from my Anne Klein archives. The style number for the SET is J352559…. I have never seen this piece on ebay or anywhere else, but I have noticed that TRUE Anne Klein Couture pieces can go for hundreds of dollars……This necklace is call SANGRIA and Russian Gold. It is approx. 39 inches long with a 3 inch extender…..The earring is pierced, and is also in the Russian Gold. The necklace consists of an asymmetrical layout of RESIN MEDALLIONS, both clear and frosted, and Russian Gold metal medallions…….When shopping on ebay or anywhere else, do not be fooled with items that say “Couture”. Unless it has the little metal oval attached to the piece that says Anne Klein Couture…..it is NOT. I have see many Lion pieces that say Couture. I never did a Lion piece for the Couture line. Those logo pieces were done on the Anne Klein ll line only…….The necklace will be avail in the Sangria, Blue, Aqua, and Cyprus, all with Russian Gold……..They have been delivered to QVC this month, but I never know when they will be posted……………I know for all of you Crepe Gauze lovers, these will be welcomed additions to your collection………They will be sold on Feb 17th on the 7:00am show, regular channel with Leah Williams…………………………………………………………..
