…………………..The SAFARI SHIRT, A214117, and the BOHO SKIRT, A70208, are both coming back in………FOUR…….new colors…………I call them my MARDI GRAS COLORS. Both of these items have been ordered many many many times. I think the BOHO skirt alone is going on its’ 6th or 7th year……………..I had to ask myself why do these two pieces continue to be so popular….so I went back to read the reviews…….It quickly became clear why so many of you keep collecting these pieces, and look forward to adding new colors. COMFORT was one of the main reasons you all love these pieces. The fact that they are FEATHER WEIGHT, and COOL to wear makes them both perfect for the summer. ACCORDING TO THE REVIEWS they can be worn in the hottest most humid weather. It’s hard to find styles that basically cover you up, but are still breezy and cool to wear….Then there is the MOST IMPORTANT FACT that they are so flattering on most body types. Since they sell in all sizes from XXS to 3X you can bet that there is a good possibility they will work for you……If you are unfamiliar with these styles I do suggest you do as I did. Read what many women have said about the SAFARI SHIRT and the BOHO SKIRT, and then decide if these styles may be for you!

…………………………….PERIWINKLE, is the first color I am presenting. This season I have done quite a few styles in Periwinkle. Let me be clear……they are ALL DIFFERENT versions of Periwinkle. None match with each other, except this shirt and skirt, but you would probably not wear the other different styles together anyway………..This is a very saturated, but SOFT color that is flattering to all. As you can tell from the photos above, I love Periwinkle with WHITE……..The white WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, and the LINEA LEISURE WHITE PANT, A262070/A262072, are just two options……….The WATER FALL NECKLACES, J321804, in WHITE and BLUE add just the right touch……………….February may seem a little early to be presenting such summery colors for some of you who are still digging out of the snow, but remember it’s already summer weather in many parts of the country…………………enjoy now or later……………….much Love…………………………………Louis

……………………This…………LIME……………is a fantastic color…..It makes your mouth water!…..The new colors also remind me of my FIESTA colors that I did a few seasons back. They turned out to be very successful, and I’m sure are still being worn today…….I love these pieces worn as a two piece summer dress, perfect for so many summer special occasions. I especially love each piece worn separately, mixing the lime with sparkling white, navy, black, ivory, chino or natural linen……….The FAUX DE CHINE TANK that comes with the Safari shirt is a bonus that looks great on its’ own or paired with the Safari Shirt worn open as a breezy cover up……This is a great color for BLONDS, BRUNETTES, REDHEADS and my SILVER and WHITE HAIRED BEAUTIES………Did I leave anyone out?……….For a more relaxed way to wear the BOHO pair it with my new TEE shirts, A225482, that are quickly becoming everyone’s favorite…WHITE, NAVY and BLACK will all work….A pair of sandals, espadrilles, or wedges…..a tote, sunglasses, your seed bead necklace, and you will look spectacular…How did I choose this particular LIME?……I matched it to the LIME SEED BEAD NECKLACE, J329589! coming this April……………………………………………enjoy………………….much Love………………………….Louis

……………………………Glorious citrus LEMON will brighten any summer day. Again, wear it matched as a two piece dress or split the pieces to extend your wardrobe…..This makes for a simple way to pack for any trip you may be planning…..Chose White and Black as you basic colors in pants, skirts and Tees…..then add your shot of COLOR….in this case LEMON…..Add some fabulous accessories like those above………The WATER FALL necklace and earring set in BLACK or WHITE, J321804, will coordinate with your basic colors and accent the lemon. For a wonderful alternative the MARDI GRAS necklace, J335211. I love it with the Gypsy drop earring, J270116. Don’t feel that because the necklace is gold and the earring is gunmetal that they don’t work together. It’s the COLORS of the beads that pull it together. You have to let it go that things must match to work. That is a very old way of thinking, and simply does not apply to dressing today. If you take anything from what I say that would be a very important lesson not only to learn, but to live!…………A BLACK WK TANK, such as A237404 or A253408 will work perfectly. Above, I have used a vintage Linea black bodysuit……………For my more adventurous try a color top, and or a print to work back to your Yellow pieces…………….Have FUN!………………………………………………………

………………………………….Last but certainly not least is my new BRIGHT PINK…………….As I was searching for new colors for the Safari Shirt and Boho skirt, Jac brought this color to me, so I really should have called Jacqueline Pink…………This is a brand new color for me and I LOVE it. I hope you do too…..It is bright and SOFT at the same time…..It has a wonderful glow, and will give a blush to your complexion…….It says SPRING…….It says SUMMER……….For my BLONDS, REDHEADS, BRUNETTES and SILVER haired beauties….rejoice…..this is a color to revitalize your spirits after a long winter…..To this new color…..I say yesyesyes……JUMP out of your comfort zone, and experience and “feel” something fresh. I know you will be surprised by how much you love it!…………..WHITE and BLACK are always the two key colors to pair with any bright….MARDI GRAS color, but  navy, olive, khaki, tan, natural linen and gray are also good options………Pulling it together is all about accessories………..The BLACK BARREL NECKLACE and EARRING set, J329558 is perfection, but fair warning….there are only a few left. Of course anything GOLD, SILVER or GUNMETAL will look great too….Of course to go with a Mardi Gras color….the Mardi Gra necklace, J335211, is coming this month……..Whatever you choose…just make it BOLD. Anything dinky will not hold up to the color…..Now, Bold doesn’t mean heavy……It is about balance, and shouldn’t disappear against the color…..for example…..if you already own the falling leaves necklace set……it is delicate, light in weight, but still makes a statement, and holds its’ own……PINKS of all shades, from the palest to the most shocking, have become “the” color on the runways………I hope you will give in to this wonderful new color ……………….enjoy……………….much Love…………………………………Louis
