So True….my Annie is very aloof when she first meets people, she is sort of saying “are you worth my kisses”. Lili and Sammy are the opposite, especially Sammy, they love to give their kisses away and will jump all over you until you acknowledge them……my girls are the best….all four of them!
Oh Louis, how alert the girls are – sentinels in your yard. Most people don’t know, but you do, Scotties can be VERY aloof. I remember the White House presscore tried to get a hold of Miss Beasley (Pres. Bush’s pup) and she bit the photographer They have their own opinion of people and size them quickly.
