The July 30th Sneak Peek #2, is actually two items……………..The STRIATED JERSEY T-SHIRT, A235311, and the STRIATED JERSEY SKIRT, A235309……………The fabric is brand new to Linea, though it is similar in look to the flecked tank, they are different. The jersey is 95% Polyester and 5 % Span, so there is a lot of stretch for comfort. When you touch it you will swear it feels like a fine, silky cotton knit. This is a T-SHIRT, so it has an easy fit. It does have waist shaping but it is not overly fitted…………just to follow the outline of the body. I think the photo in the upper left best shows how it fits. The sleeve is short, and has a youthful look……some short sleeves can look matronly…..not this one. The length of the T is approx. 24 inches for the XS, and as you can see in the photos, it covers the hip. The open jewel neckline is very flattering and has a nice casual look, though this T would look great under suits, and can be accessorized many different ways…..black beads, grey or ivory pearls, anything silver or gunmetal etc etc. Wear this top right know with white or black shorts, Capri or cropped pants, pencil or boho skirts…..you get the idea……it looks great with the A230031, abstract print skirt in grey, in the photo above left, which happens to be one of my favorite prints on the rayon/span……and it’s on clearance! Maybe you have the Black/Grey printed boho, A199793, from seasons past, 0r the Black/Grey feather print pleated skirt, A227580, or the new Black/Turquoise high-low paisley print skirt, A234435 [which is also on clearance!!]…………….this PUTTY/BLACK “T” looks INCREDIBLE with ALL of them. Mixing textures and prints is a VERY DESIGNER LOOK, and when it’s done WELL…..it is so much more interesting than wearing a solid top. I predict this PUTTY T-SHIRT will sell FAST!……….

The STRIATED JERSEY SKIRT, A235309, is a wonderful companion piece to the matching “T”, and creates a casual two piece dress look but, it takes on a LIFE OF IT’S OWN when mixed with all sorts of wonderful tops. The Whisper Knit sweaters alone can give you a zillion new ways to wear it. It has a full ELASTIC waist, but the front section, even though it is still has elastic, it kept flat for a for flattering fit……see the photo above. The front of the skirt has a stitched down pleated panel, and then has one additional stitched down pleat on either side. There is absolutely no bulk or fullness at the top tummy area of the skirt, but the panel and additional pleats enables the skirt to have more sweep at the bottom which gives the skirt a graceful movement. The back of the skirt has a full elastic which allows this to be a pull-on skirt…..no need for a zipper. The skirt is LINED in my knit jersey that I have used many times. It gives the skirt complete stretch for comfort……..This is a BOOT LENGTH SKIRT……it is Approx. 34 inches long and has a 1 inch waist band, so depending where you place the waist band, it could even be a 35 inch skirt. For my petite ladies, this will probably be a maxi…..and will look great with black boots or black wedges for immediate wearing………..a black tank and cardigan tied around your shoulders will be all you need…..for now. As an added bonus,,,,,,,,,,,there are POCKETS hidden under the outer pleats……They are so well hidden that you wouldn’t know they are there……of course if you don’t like pockets you don’t have to use them, or you can even have them sewn up…..but I am telling you……if I didn’t say something about them you wouldn’t have known they were there. This is the perfect skirt to transition into fall and straight through winter. It’s comfortable, it’s cozy and it looks great too…………………………..scroll down for more…………………enjoy………………much Love…………Louis

The second color choice for the STRIATED T-SHIRT, A235311, and the STRIATED SKIRT, A235309 is………….FUCHSIA……………As you have seen in the July Sneak Peek #1, it goes perfectly with the FUCHSIA KIMONO JACKET, A235322. Wear the skirt now with all of you Spring/Summer BLACK WK sweaters such as the short sleeve V-neck, A233944, and cardigan, A233940, and later throw on your BLACK LINEA LEATHER/KNIT jacket, A288544, which has been reordered in the BLACK,  TARRAGON and a new color! Wear the FUCHSIA T with any black or white bottom for now, or the BLACK RAYON/SPAN SKIRT, A229474, shown above….perfect now with sandals…..perfect later with boots…………The FUCHSIA is deep and saturated, and is the color of beautiful TROPICAL FLOWERS……………….everyone NEEDS color in their wardrobe and it will be very welcome when Jan. and Feb. roll around……………..scroll down for more…………………………………..enjoy…………..much Love…………Louis

The third and last color being offered in the STRIATED T SHIRT AND SKIRT is…………….CARIBBEAN BLUE………………………….it is simply a gorgeous color. I have it photographed with the ponte knit TSV BLACK jacket, but any black jacket will work. Wear it now with the WK BLACK MOCK NECK SWEATER, A233947 and the CARDIGAN, A233940………………wear it with the WHITE COTTON “KATE” SHIRT, A214116,…..wear it with the matching T and the CARIBBEAN BLUE KIMONO………I know you have many things that will look great with this addition to your Linea wardrobes………..Take note of my NEW BOLD & BEAUTIFUL CROSS. The HAMMERED cross is once again DOUBLE SIDED. The GUNMETAL CROSS above has a BLACK STONE on one side, shown above, and an AMBER STONE on the other…………….this will be a definite attention getter……in a GOOD way……it will be avail later in the season……..enjoy……………much Love………………….Louis

My next show on QVC is …….JULY 30TH…..at….2:00AM………..I believe it’s 11:00PM on the 29th for my West coast viewers…… The show is filled with new things!! …..Even thought the show is on the 30th of July, you won’t receive anything until August. What does one need in Aug? For me, it’s all about TRANSITION clothes to take you from one season, Summer, into the next, Fall. For the Northerners these clothes will take them through the rest of the summer, but more so for Sept, Oct, and the beginning of Nov, when it’s still too warm for fall/winter clothes, but too late for anything that looks like summer…..and with the right layers beyond Nov…For the extreme South, these will be your WINTER clothes……nothing too heavy, but nothing that says SUMMER WEAR………Even though you can wear most of the pieces right now, you will need them even more once Sept. comes around.

The first item is my new KIMONO JACKET, A235322. The fabric is 100% polyester in a classic BASKET WEAVE effect. The yarn is somewhat thick so the weave is very evident…..not as thick as a burlap….more like a heavier linen.  Why a KIMONO style? This jacket brings to mind the WK Kimono sweater, A233950, that was very popular. I like the Kimono style of jacket because it is not fussy, it is classic, but still has an edge. The Kimono is an ethnic and ancient  style garment, and yet modern, and always chic…….the perfect frame for what ever else you wear with it….They are extremely comfortable……you just slide them on and go. They work over everything from dresses to leggings, short skirts to maxis. They can be casual or very dressy, and the kimono has been around for thousands of years…… so….they aren’t going away any time soon!……………The details………The jacket is approx. 25 inches long for the XS. It has a 3/4 length sleeve to show off some wonderful chunky bracelets, like my J270118. It has a classic Kimono stand collar that extends to the band going down the front, which is approx. 1 1/2 inches wide. The jacket also has patch pockets with inserted bands, similar to the patch pockets on the Pone Knit “sweatshirt blazer”. The jacket is totally UNLINED, and wonderfully light weight. This kimono is extremely versatile and literally can be worn over almost anything………..In the photos above, you will see the …….BLACK KIMONO…..worn with a simple ivory tank and my STONE faux linen herringbone pant, A226258, that many of you already own……the OLIVE version would look great too. I also have it paired with the new PUTTY T-shirt, and matching skirt in a brand NEW STRIATED JERSEY fabric…………….sneak peeks coming later. The KIMONO JACKET, A235322, also comes in a beautiful deep saturate shade of …………FUCHSIA…………………………………….In the photos above you can easily see the weave and texture of the fabric. I have the FUCHSIA KIMONO shown three different ways……worn with a BLACK TANK and my IVORY CREPE PANT, A232347, perfect for right now………a BLACK TANK and the new FUCHSIA STRIATED JERSEY SKIRT……………and worn over all BLACK….a TANK and CAPRI PANTS………….I am sure you will find many ways to mix other colors and prints with this FUCHSIA jacket.
