“THE HEATHER GREY ZIP FRONT HOODED JACKET”

Le Colonial1

I have photographed the HEATHER GREY ZIP FRONT HOODED JACKET, A239315, from all angles so you can get a good idea of exactly what this jacket looks like. You can see that due to the drop shoulder and softness of the fabric….the jackets molds to your natural shoulder line. If you wish you can always add a shoulder pad if you need it. The upper body is NOT TIGHT…….it gently follows the lines of the body and then GENTLY flares out, again following the line of the body……There is nothing exaggerated here………..it has a NATURAL FLOW and MOVEMENT………The back has a beautiful drape, and from the seam creates beautiful “Cones”…….a word used in the business to describe undulating folds……Certainly my “apples and pears” have nothing to worry about with this silhouette……. I decided to show the HEATHER GREY jacket with my BLACK WK T-NECK and SKIRT to illustrate that this jacket can also be worn for less casual outings. It is certainly work appropriate for those of you who don’t have to work in very strict traditional environments. Black tights and a beautiful pointy toe suede pump would complete the look….. This hasĀ  the look of a soft suit…..a “Designer” suit…..my simple black PONTE DRESS, with this jacket, would be perfect too… With black leggings and shoe boots you have a completely different look. My new GREY or JET NECKLACES wrapped FOUR times around the neck would be FANTASTIC!…………………….Heather Grey and Black is an unbeatable combination!!……………………….scroll down for more…………………………………………………………………enjoy……….much Love………………………………..Louis

I ordered this in the beet red and heather grey. Love the versatility and plan on wearing them for work and casual. I think the grey will look pretty with the perfectly pink turtleneck and black skinny jeans or leggings and black boots.

This is the choice for me. I love your pontes, and I love your grays. Thank you for this great addition to my wardrobe. My husband and I are beginning to travel a lot more, so packables are important to me.

I’d like to see a summer version of this for the beach/resort.

Me too. Great idea, Carol, and a terrific style, Louis!

    Hi Louis,
This looks like a wonderful addition for the colder climes of Colorado, and I think it is thin enough to wear under an overcoat.
From the photographs it looks like the back may be higher than the front. Is it just an optical illusion?
    Thank you,
    Tana

Dear Tana……the back isn’t higher than the front.

    Hello Louis,

Hope you & Jac had a wonderful vacation!

I have several of your Ponte Tunics – A237391 (Forest Green & Charcoal), A237398 (Wine, Walnut & Black) and A237384 (this is my favourite – Charcoal & Black)) – and I love them all – wear them often! I am glad you called this new Item a Cardigan/Jacket – it looks fantastic – and so versatile!

With your Ponte items, Whisper Knits, Posh Knits – and everything else – I always have something to wear – for all occasions.

BTW – what Necklace is shown with the Heather Grey Cardigan/Jacket – it doesn’t look like the Grey Jet Beads.

    Thank you.
    Seka.

Dear Seka…..you are absolutely correct. The necklace shown is a bib style necklace, but the glass beads are the same color as my 72 inch necklace. At the time I took this photo my samples hadn’t yet arrived.
