Introducing the brand new WHISPER KNIT SHAWL COLLAR SWEATER, A237409. I have to say, as all of the Whisper Knit sweaters are, this one is made superbly. The body, sleeves and collar are all in the EVERY NEEDLE RIB construction, which for me, is the ONLY way to make this style sweater and especially the fully fashioned collar. I would compare this sweater to any sweater produced in ITALY today. It could not possibly be made any better!!!. This style also features the WAIST WHITTLING RIB BAND that so many love and find very slimming. I think the two major details…..the SHAWL COLLAR and the WAIST WHITTLING band, work very well together………it UPDATES a shawl collar sweater and makes it quite sexy. I have shown the collar three ways…..totally bare with nothing under it…..with a scarf criss crossed at the neck………….and in the photo at the extreme lower left…..wrapped and “pinned” to create a ….higher to the throat look…………..yes that is a pierced earring I used as a pin……they work very well….as long as you don’t have the pin part sticking out into your neck…LOL. If you would like to try wearing it this way, as an alternative., I would suggest steaming out the fold mark in the collar first…..which I did not. I have simply paired the PEWTER sweater with my BLACK CREPE PANT, A232347/A232348 for petites, [the pant never had any air time], and my GREY CHENILLE BLAZER, A218572, which many of you already own. The SWIRL EARRING, used as a pin, is J284008, but it’s going fast. I doubt many of you have a sweater quite like this, so I think it would be a nice addition to your WK collection………………..enjoy………much Love……………….Louis

The second color I am presenting in the WK SHAWL COLLAR SWEATER, A237409, is……… TOPAZ…………and YES, this will match and blend nicely to all of the topaz pieces you already own and the new ones coming. This sweater brings to mind words like CLASSIC, SOPHISTICATED, SPORTY, TOWN & COUNTRY, CHIC………..wear it with jeans or dress it up. I have shown it here with A VINTAGE ETRO SCARF, my BLACK CREPE TROUSERS, A232347/A232348, and my reordered LEATHER & KNIT BLAZER, A228554……………wear it with a BLACK PLEATED SKIRT or a BLACK PENCIL SKIRT, either the new WK A237412, or the acrylic wool blend that many many of you own……wear it with black suede pumps, maybe a chunky heel, black suede shoe booties [close to the ankle please], sleek tall boots….or, yes KATE….even your combat boots………………I know there are many ways you  will discover to mix and match this sweater with lots you already own…………enjoy……….much Love……………………….Louis

WALNUT is the third choice I am offering you in the new WK SHAWL COLLAR SWEATER, A237409. I think this sweater with the matching WK PENCIL SKIRT, A237412……..is down right sexy…..subtly….but none the less steamy. Any business woman walking into a meeting is going to command attention….with very little effort. This SHAWL COLLAR SWEATER is PERFECT under jackets as I have shown here with my TWEED BLAZER, from last year, which I know many of you own because it is completely sold out. For those of you who own the tweed in the “other” combination….yes, the sweater will work equally as well with that one too. It’s a terrific TOWN & COUNTRY LOOK…..For those of you who missed out on the tweed jackets…..no worries….I have a new one that is coming in THREE different color combination in Sept……….and it rivals last years! The IVORY SHAWL COLLAR SWEATER, A237409…..is my fourth color choice. This is a very rich looking sweater due to the fact that it is in the EVERY NEED RIB, which gives the fabric extra BODY…..I love the IVORY for it’s versatility………in the SPRING wear it with my IVORY FAUX DE CHINE PLEATED SKIRT and one of my NAVY BLAZERS for a retro “GATSBY” look…………or wear it as shown above with Ivory trousers, perhaps my new IVORY WK DRAPED FRONT CARDIGAN for another fabulous SPRING or HOLIDAY look…….beautiful for CHRISTMAS….north or south………………………………create some fantastic BLACK & WHITE looks……..I have it with my BLACK & WHITE HOUNDS TOOTH SKIRT from last fall, and my BLACK FAUX FUR  & KNIT COMBO JACKET, A229709……….that is a wonderful versatile jacket………….again, there are so many ways to incorporate a new ivory WK sweater into your wardrobes……………you simple can’t go wrong………..these are sweaters to collect and treasure………..enjoy……..much Love………..Louis
