…………………..The TEAL…..the DARK KHAKI…..and…..the MERLOT are all KEY colors for my JULY group. They will be repeated throughout this mini collection of clothes…..a capsule if you will……………..Once again, this garment is about the length, the volume and COMFORT. It can be very APPEALING to wear a garment that doesn’t touch you and just FLOWS around you. Wonderful air circulation….It has GREAT POCKETS that you can sink your hands into! You may not think there is much fit or shape to this garment, but you would be wrong. There are DIAGONAL seams that do control the shape and volume of this tunic. Without them I could never achieve the volume I wanted. The sides are asymmetric….almost handkerchief……….For bottoms I have the Black Pebble Crepe crop pant with the Dark Khaki, and the MERLOT CREPE GAUZE crop pant with the Merlot PC tunic……Yes, there will be other pieces in Crepe Gauze in Black, Merlot and Teal………With the Dk. Khaki I chose THREE of the Khaki Nugget necklaces with the matching earring, which works perfectly. When I just went to look up the style number I found that it is SOLD OUT, but always keep checking! These pieces always have a way of being resurrected! LOL…….With the MERLOT I have the new BOLO in the SHINY COPPER with BROWN cords, and they look FABULOUS TOGETHER!!!! I will have to put this on Kate! LOL………….Anyone who owns and loves Pebble Crepe knows that these are season-less pieces….especially for those of you who live in the south and want to get into the spirit of fall and Holiday dressing. The southern temperatures won’t often allow much more then Pebble Crepe…………….enjoy……………………….much Love………………………….Louis

……………………..On this 4th of July, as we celebrate the birth of the nation, I wanted to share pictures of Jac’s beautiful garden with you………There were years when the garden looked better then others, but this year…….I can honestly say, it is more lush, more radiant and more colorful then EVER…….I can’t help but think that Jac is responsible for the beautiful garden this year. She knew how much I loved her flowers!….. Truly, Jac was always responsible for our gardens. I would select the plants for each pot, and she would do the grunt work. Jac always said I would have made a great “movie director”, and that I loved to direct……in that she wasn’t wrong, but she seldom was…..She planted them, and took loving care of them. I know she was with me this year guiding me every step of the way as I planted her flowers…….She would sit on a chaise lounge on the brick porch, in the middle of the garden with the girls around her, admiring her and Mother Nature’s work….This was the place Jac loved to read one of the many books she would have going at one time. It was hard enough for me to get through one at a time. Jac always amazed me………..Sometimes I would come to join her, but I would find her sound asleep, so peaceful………………………………..like an Angel………………………………………………………..I miss her so so much.

…………………………Jac loved to create little vignettes in Her Garden………..The three pots on the widow sill, the white garden bench, the white chairs and table with the birdhouse are just a few that I duplicated from what Jac always did….She would love to take me on a tour, and showed me each grouping……. and hoped I approved of her work…..I more than approved I LOVED IT, and would ooh and aah…..It always made her so happy…..The four photos at the upper right are of my new weeping cherry tree with its’ tree bracelet in the new hydrangea lined bed that I created for it. It is now the mirror image of the bed on the other side of the lawn………….Sammy is taking a moment to enjoy her Mommy’s garden. Do you think she remembers the many afternoons she spent with Jac, usually sitting under Jac’s chair to be in the shade?……………..I hope so…………….If only Sammy could speak we could reminisce.

………………………….Jac’s Garden is so beautiful this summer…………Every pot is growing well and everything is so lush. I know she is very happy with the way her work turned out this year. It makes me happy………….and sad.

…………………..Along our very long driveway to the road we have these beautiful bright pink roses with white, yellow and brown centers…….Franco cuts them in the spring and ties each branch to the white fence. Every year Jac would check out the amount of buds she saw, and report back to me……..”this is going to be a great rose year”, or “not as many as last year”. This year, as you can see, is a spectacular year! Jac has created a beautiful display for me!…………..Thank you Honey……….they are beautiful!
