……………….LIGHT KHAKI and IVORY……..UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE……….If I were to imagine someone from the past wearing this outfit…who was the epitome of  refined taste….it would be Babe Paley…..”The Swans” as Truman Capote called them were the elite group of New York society women. They were at every major event in New York City, and were constantly on the cover of WWD. They were the “it” girls……These “society” women were considered the gold standard of sophistication and chic…Now all we have are the Kardasians!…..This subtle combination of colors, the Light Khaki and Ivory, again is the epitome of that refined taste ……..Above, I have the skirt and cardigan simply layered with with my ELBOW SLEEVE WK MOCK NECK in IVORY, A251584…..Add my cream and driftwood pearls and you are ready…..Since you can’t wear the same jewelry every time you wear this outfit I would like to suggest some other options…try my OVAL PEARL EARRING, J296890, which comes with a cream pearl and a gold rim….it’s the perfect understated size…… or my PEARL BROOCH, J296894. It has a wonderful BOMBE shape….is paved with crystals…..and at its’ center….a large round cream pearl set into the gold metal….This piece is worthy of an estate sale…..The J296624, is a beautiful triple strand necklace made up of two different sizes of cream pearls…..Then there is the J296624, the DOUBLE SIDED CROSS. On one side there is a center cream pearl and the “arms’ of the cross are paved with crystals. All of these options are in keeping with the refined quiet elegance you would want to achieve…….In the photos above you can see many possibilities of how you can ZIP or UNZIP the two way zipper to create different looks……..The goal is to look….COOL, CALM and COLLECTED in this Lt. ……………….This is the last sneak peek for my April 25th show from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with Jane Tracy……….This tunic, A255145, has been one of my most popular spring/summer tops. It is made in a cotton/span blend knit that I have used for years. The reviews on the fabric as far as care and quality have been superb…………This tunic has been so successful that we are bringing many of the basic colors back like……WHITE….BLACK…….and NAVY…….plus THREE NEW COLORS……………Two of those colors are in the photos above…………CARNATION PINK….and SPEARMINT………….These are HAPPY, CLEAR colors that I think will put a smile on your face and brighten your day. All of the details are outlined on the Linea QVC site, and all of the colors are already posted for ordering……….As you can see it has a short sleeve…..a slight scoop neck, an A-LINE body [added hip room] and patch pockets. The Linea insignia is discreetly embroidered on the pocket in a tonal thread………….Sometimes there are accessories that were meant for a certain top, and the SIGNATURE CHARM & BEAD NECKLACE. J321802, in PINK and SAGE, along with the DEW DROP PENDANT and EARRING SET, J320890, in the matching PINK and SAGE [which is more mint than sage], is that set of accessories. It’s like candy around the neck…………..For those of you who own this top, and have been waiting patiently for new colors…….I hope you are pleased with my choices. …………………………..NECTAR…………..is the third new color, and it is very similar to the SHERBET crinkle georgette safari shirt, which is also a new color this season. The nectar is a little more saturated due to the denseness of the fabric compared to the sheer georgette……..It’s a fun, fresh clean color. It looks wonderful with WHITE or NAVY bottoms….like my Ponte cropped and cuffed pant, A273859 above…………..Of course the GOLD FISH PENDANT, with its’ ORANGE EYE and the SCHOOL OF FISH NECKLACE, JJ321801 , circling the mama fish, make for fun accessories on a fun color top. The School of Fish necklace is still avail, but the pendant has swum away long ago! …………………………Can you ever go wrong with BLACK or WHITE………I don’t thinks so…..These two staple colors along with the must have NAVY are also retuning this season…For work or leisure these tops in these colors will always do right by you…. they are no fail colors. Worn with my new WK PENCIL SKIRT, A273880, or my new LINEA BODY SEAMLESS CAPRI LEGGING, A274374, they can take you from day to night……The BARREL BEAD NECKLACE and EARRING SET, J329558 finishes off the look to perfection……………………..enjoy…………..much Love…….. …………………….One of the newest and most exciting new fabrics I will be introducing this season is the …….CREPE GAUZE……..It is a more refined and dressier fabric than the GAUZE FABRIC that I used in the new Zip Front Jacket, A276280, which also new this season. On my April show I will have two new pieces in the Crepe Gauze……..The TIERED TUNIC…..and the PANT, shown above…………………………………………………..

…………………………The TIERED SLEEVELESS TUNIC, A276293, has two layers. The top layer is made out of the Crepe Gauze….then there is an attached second tier in GEORGETTE that creates a bottom border. Both layers have side slits which gives the tunic a BREEZY quality……. For me it has a very 20’s look to it…..especially with the TANGERINE SEED BEAD NECKLACES, J329589. It will be avail from XXS to 3X…….The length of the tunic in the XXS size is approx. 27 1/2 inches………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

…………The pant has a very LANGUID, FLUID drape. It has a full elastic waist with a center top stitch….except for a front section that I have kept flat. There are trouser pleats that add to the drape. The trouser POCKETS give the pant just the right attutide. The pant will be avail in two colors….ALABASTER above, and BLACK. The Alabaster will be lined while the black will not…….The pant has a wide leg but because of the softness of the fabric and the drape it is not an over whelming silhouette…………..The pant will be available in TWO LENGTHS. The regular length, A276294, approx 32-to 32 1/2 inches, and the petite length, A276295, sorry don’t have a measurement……The pant will be numerically sized….Why it was decided to size it this way since it is a pull-on I can’t tell you….I’m sure there was a good reason……Even though I have shown the two items matching, they are both terrific separates. Wear the Alabaster top with a contrast bottom…..of course BLACK is the best……Pencil skirts or Capri pants will both look splendid, and of course the BLACK GAUZE PANT will look superb as an alternative to the matching Alabaster……..The look of the two pieces together is pure sophistication…..pure elegance…….These are clothes for grown up women who do not want……or rely on fads and trends to make their unique statement……………………enjoy…………………Much Love…………………….Louis
