After all the Whisper Knit styles that I have designed over the years….it is only a natural procession that a long skirt would not be far behind. A257384, is the style number of the WK skirt and it is already avail. for ordering. Actually, it already has five reviews and they are all FIVE STAR. Above is the NUTMEG SKIRT…….Why NUTMEG? I am a strong believer in a column of color to elongate and slenderize. Since I have already offered the NUTMEG DRAPED FRONT CARDIGAN, A257376, and the NUTMEG TANK, A237404….plus the ZIP FRONT CARDIGAN coming on my next show……I thought this was the perfect moment to offer the skirt in some fabulous colors. The fact that the WK SCARF will also be offered in the NUTMEG is an added bonus to complete any look……So….why am I showing it with a color TN….because you need alternatives to wear with a NUTMEG skirt, and so many women are afraid or confused or just don’t know how to combine color and feel secure. It really isn’t difficult and will give your wardrobe so many more options. Above, I am showing the new TN, due in Sept, in the PEACOCK BLUE [no questions please….it will all be revealed to you before it becomes avail]. As I say you can make any two colors work with the right accessories. In this case Amber beads [working on them for spring], a russet Lizard belt, thank you e-bay, and the NUTMEG SCARF, coming your way. Nutmeg is a real autumn color….a molasses, a deep caramel color, and it works beautifully with other colors such as walnut, mahogany, aubergine, claret, magenta, purple, mallard, turquoise, hunter green, moss, forest, olive, charcoal, ivory etc……and of course BLACK. So nutmeg isn’t as limited as you first might think. All you will need are a pair of black or brown boots……Of course if you have an extensive boot or shoe boot wardrobe…..like cowboy boots or riding boots or luggage boots….you will have many many ways to accessorize. The second “color” I am offering in the WK LONG SKIRT, A257384, is the PETROL BLUE……..I LOVE KNIT DRESSING……If I had to choose one type of fabric to design in it would definitely be KNIT…..To be able to get a skirt and top in the same color and in the sizes you need is what AMERICAN SPORTSWEAR is all about. If you like to wear dresses or like that column of color for a STREAM LINE LOOK, than this is definitely for you. If all you have in your closet is a mass of black and neutral bottoms….well maybe it’s time to EXPAND your horizons……One thing I can guarantee is….you will definitely get compliments. Petrol is a season-less color….in the spring mix it with white or ivory….maybe a black cardigan to give some contrast….In the fall/winter….black is the color of choice. If I ever offered you an ESSENTIAL LINEA PIECE…..this IS IT! This BLACK SKIRT is just as important in your wardrobe as a pair of BLACK PANTS….this season the Whisper Knit Pant……………..Day or Night…..for work or super dressy, this is a skirt that will always work for you. Are you planning a trip this fall…..this is the only skirt you will need. There isn’t an outfit that I could not use this skirt with….a TRUE ESSENTIAL!……Are you looking at the skirt or the sweater? Let’s take a break from clothes!………….Look at what my Jac made for me!!!!……..Fresh Lobster, Shrimp, and Poached Salmon…..with Avocado, Cucumber, Hearts of Palm, Artichoke Hearts,Boiled eggs, Olives, a few tiny little sliced potatoes….a little dill and some fresh Lemon!…..It makes my mouth water just looking at it…..Is she the best or what? It was so pretty I just had to take a picture before the plate was completely empty….LOL

There have been so many requests for a SOLID CHARCOAL GRAY CLASSIC TURTLE NECK in the WHISPER KNIT, A72448…..that I have finally been able to bring it to you. This is the PERFECT DARK GRAY…..Not so dark that it looks like black, as you can see above with the WK black pencil skirt, and not so pale that it borders on med. gray……..This is an ……ESSENTIAL….and should be in every turtle neck wearers wardrobe. Can it be any easier to put on a black bottom, a CHARCOAL GRAY TN and some LINEA GRAY PEARLS, J264035, and look totally pulled together……and be dressed in 4 minutes or less!…….To complete the look….a pair of ANIMAL INSTINCTS tights in the GRAY [which work beautifully with the CHARCOAL GRAY TN]….a pair of black SUEDE pumps or shoe boots and you are done to the NINES!……..CLASSY & CLASSIC with a TWIST…thanks to the tights….CHIC as all get out……….TIMELESS……………..FYI…the WK pencil skirt is avail in two lengths……The A237412 ranges from 25 1/2″ to 27 1/2″….while the A253411 is a little shorter….23 1/2″ to 24 1/2″, both perfect with the new TIGHTS…………………………enjoy……………..much Love……………………….Louis
