Now that, hopefully, the Linea Line of Jewelry is established…..let’s keep our fingers crossed…..I felt is was extremely important to create some “ESSENTIAL ” pieces. …….pieces you can wear every day with anything you want. I have done many articles of clothing that are trimmed in either gold , silver or gunmetal buttons and findings, so I felt it was important to have an earring that would work with any and all of these pieces. I also felt that with many of the bold necklaces, sometimes a more subtle earring was necessary, of course that depends on the outfit, the event and the mood you happen to be in. These earring are avail in both clip and pierced [I believe the gold clip is sold out all ready]. As I said these will be your wear with ANYTHING earrings…..when in doubt these will always work. After seeing the photos on the Linea web site I thought it was important that you saw pictures that better capture what these actually look like. They all have a shiny finish and are definitely not matte……even so….they still look great with ALL of the Linea jewelry….from the very first strand of pearls with the gold and black beads, the dramatic gold ball necklace, the black and gold bead necklace to the current SILVER CROSSES , GUNMETAL LOVE KNOTS and the newest BRONZE MULTI and GUNMETAL MULTI [which QVC calls BLACK?]. There is NO NICKEL in this jewelry……I know they look simple, but many times SIMPLICITY is what is called for……………………Enjoy…………….much Love………………..Louis

“October Sneak Peek # 13″ is A229472…….the Polyester/Rayon/Span trousers. The colors are ………IVORY…………BLACK………… The inseam measures approx. 32 inches and the pant has an approx. 10 inch leg opening. This is a zip front trouser and it has elastic gores in the side front and back……leaving the front and back of the pant perfectly flat. This is an UNLINED pant…….. I know the question will be…..”why unlined”? There is a method to my madness. From now until next MARCH there will be three ivory pants in three different fabrics and three black….and that will be all of the ivory or black pants for spring and summer season….the first is this GABERDINE fabric UNLINED, the second in JAN. will be an Ivory PONTE KNIT pant, UNLINED and in FEB. there will be an Ivory CREPE pant….. LINED. Each pant is a different silhouette and has a different purpose. These pants are really SEASON-LESS because they are unlined. There are separate pant liners you can buy for these pants and they work well for knit pants too……. if you so desire…..they may be a handy thing to have.. There are no pockets in these pants. They have an easy “GARBO” or “HEPBURN” look to them. As far as the sizing and  fit……they will be NUMERICALLY SIZED…….if my pants have fit you before ….these will too…….All I can say is every single time I have done an IVORY pant it is gone, and it is on a very very very rare occasion that they are reordered……By the way the gorgeous GOLD NECKLACE and DROP earring will be new for JAN.     the earring will be a little shorter….We all felt is was a bit to long for many women, but it still looks fabulous. I believe it will be in gold and silver…………..An important note!….when you look at the pictures above, realize that the pants are not “on” the mannequin…….they are just tucked under an elastic in the front…..I can not put pants on this particular mannequin….just skirts….so if they look like they are hanging strangely…that is the reason.

“October Sneak Peek # 12”, is A229474, the  LONG JERSEY SKIRT. It is in the exact same fabric and colors as the draped top…………VIOLET……..TEAL………BLACK………so they are a perfect match…….The fabric  is  96% RAYON and 4% SPANDEX, and the skirt is 34 inches long. What is beautiful about this skirt is the front draping. It starts with an invert pleat in the center front and then has additional narrow pleats on either side, which gives the skirt a beautiful drape and flow. There isn’t a huge sweep at the bottom so the skirt isn’t overwhelming at all. Actually, on the body it hangs very straight, which is great for under jackets.  The waist band is fully elastic …..EXCEPT…….above the PLEATED AREA where it is perfectly flat…… This keeps the pleats absolutely FLAT. Some may say….”pleats over the tummy….not a good thing”……on the contrary………it creates a great camouflage to hide the tummy……..if it were flat, in this particular fabric,  it would show the tummy more, and sometimes shirring adds to much fullness. If you bought my summer printed maxi dress with the pleated front and back…..you know how flattering these very FLAT pleats can be. There are no pockets in this skirt. This is one of those skirts you will mix and match with many things you already have. PLEASE do not be afraid to mix your colors….i.e. the FUCHSIA WK  T-neck with the VIOLET skirt as in the photo above…..the TOPAZ WK T-neck with the TEAL skirt. Of course the BLACK skirt will become a work horse for you and will go with absolutely EVERYTHING….including your new HOUNDS TOOTH CHECK JACKETS.. That total column look of one color is easily achieved pairing the draped top with this skirt for a terrific TWO PIECE DRESS LOOK. This is where you can really have fun with the colors….and we all know, for some of you, it’s much easier to buy two separate pieces in two different sizes to give you a dress look. The fact that there are matching jackets is a complete BONUS! For my ladies who travel…….roll it up and put in in you carry on case along with your matching top………when you arrive at your destination…… you are ready for any occasion. Wash and wear is the perfect answer for your busy life styles. This is an elegant skirt appropriate for any evening event, as it is the perfect SPORTS WEAR SKIRT, with flat riding boots a white cotton Kate shirt or any sweater you wish to wear with it…….even a hoodie would be fun. I know some of you are already aware that the A228340, “shabby chic” cardigan is now posted on the web site and is doing very well. It will be interesting to see how many are left by the 19th. As you know, each one looks great with jeans for a real casual look…..but it also can be dressed up for an evening out where you want to put the jeans away. With the TEAL, try your gray heather drawstring pant, with the MAGENTA…. the purple long crushed velvet skirt looks great, and it’s on CLEARANCE. The GREEN, looks terrific with all of your spruce green bottoms including the green Boho skirt for that true Boho chic look. I think offering these pieces early is a great way to avoid all of the problems with deliveries, back orders and all the other problems many of you have experienced…..so if you are interested, as many of you have already ordered, I wouldn’t wait too long….just wanted you to know what’s up. “October Sneak Peek # 11” is a Sunday SURPRISE….well hardly a surprise since you have already seen it in other sneak peeks. This is my A229476, DRAPED FRONT TOP. As you can see it is VERY similar to the A219799, PYTHON PRINT draped top, which many of you have asked me to do in SOLID COLORS. As I said, this top is SIMILAR to but not exactly like the python one [when you change fabrics adjustments have to be made]. The Python top was in a 91% polyester 9% spandex fabric, and this new one is in a 96% rayon 4% spandex fabric. This top is also a little longer than the python top, but you can easily pull in up to wear as you like is, and for that matter stretch it down too….if you so desire. As for the fit…… I find them very similar too, however the feel of the fabrics is very different. The rayon is softer and has more drape to it. If you are in between sizes you can certainly take the smaller size, which I “PERSONALLY”  prefer, BUT I have learned not to give TOO MUCH advise when it comes to fit because EVERYONE likes things to “fit” differently and everyone has their own opinion whether something fits or not. I have read “fits like a glove” and “terrible fit” ALL for the same garment in the same size……..so you are on your own!!!!!LOL. The colors are ………….VIOLET…….TEAL……BLACK………..and YES they match the new jackets……..there isn’t any topaz in this top….the buyer could only buy three colors so we opted fo the black which looks great with the Topaz……maybe if it’s reordered and you ALL want the TOPAZ…we will do it. What  to say about this top….it is PERFECT under jackets…..feminine and sexy….men love this kind of top on women. It is great belted or not and it is certainly the perfect background for lots of JEWELRY…….or a single cross as my J264036, BYZANTINE CROSS…..still one of my FAVORITE pieces….and one of yours too. The black beads [you must wear two strands] look fabulous on the TEAL….with the teal jacket or a black jacket or nothing but a pair of black WK PANTS. The purple is the perfect color for all of the BYZANTINE jewelry……please notice the J270116, chandelier earring which has all the colors of the Byzantine pieces. The Black top is perfect for all of your silver, gunmetal and gold. In this case the new GOLD and BLACK CROSS mixed with the new BLACK/GOLD enamel station necklace [coming] and the Multi cross and LOVE KNOT necklaces. It is very subtle but the A270121, 18 inch Love Knot necklace plays an important part, as it brings the focus BACK up to the face. My new DEMI HOOP earring is total PERFECTION with any and all of these choices….whether you go….GOLD…….SILVER …or……..GUNMETAL……This top is all about GLAMOR and COMFORT!!!!!….Enjoy…….much Love…..Louis
