Hello EVERYONE!!!!

I was in the NYC all day working with my buyers, and we had a great time together. First, they told me how well the two shows did yesterday, and we exceed all expectations! I was glad to work with Jill again. The last time we were scheduled to be together, she was ill and Sandra, who I adore, filled in…….Lucky me to have Sandra as a partner again. We have the same sense of humor and we are totally in sink. As they say at the Q “we dance well together”. It’s even funnier during the commercial breaks. We like to tease one another….it’s play time. I think everyone did an outstanding job and all of the models looked especially beautiful…..and I think Jac looked radiant, but then I always do. I hope everything met your expectations and I can’t wait to hear from all of you……….much Love, Louis

    Hi Louis,
This week I was raining Linea. Over 2 days I received 4 large boxes (almost 45lbs)via California stuffed full of items purchased since late Feb. So between ordering new items from Tuesday’s show I have been trying on piece after piece of beautiful clothes and not to forget jewelery. The coral watch finally arrived and I was able to match it with the extra links that came from you. It is perfect and with a larger wrist one of the few watches that falls gracefully over the hand.
It is our May 24 holiday weekend and I’m busy in the garden, but thankfully if the weather lady is correct I will have 3 plus day of rain this week and I’ll be able to play in my closet with all my new things.
Thank you for making looking good so easy.

W@#hat a HAUL………Christmas in May…..I’m glad the watch worked out for you. I hope you are pleased with all of your other goodies.

Congrats on two great shows & your 13th Anniversary @ the Q!

    Here’s wishing many more……Dear Louis.

Fantastic show. One home run after another – so many things I wanted that just aren’t in the budget for me right now. The Chanel-style jacket in Bamboo was my number one pick. I cannot wait to get it. I bought the matching pants in both colors, and the print tank.

I love how your new pieces work with your old pieces, and it’s so much fun discovering that. I’m sitting at work now wearing the black lace jacket and the tweed tank with a pair of pebble crepe pants in black – similar to Sandra’s outfit on the show. A coworker said I looked stunning. What beautiful work you do.

    Thank you.

Your shows were both a treat–over too fast, though. Almost everything appealed to me, as usual, and I am expecting a HUGE pyramid next week. I’ve just received most of my Feather Jersey wardrobe and will spend some time tomorrow playing dress up with them.

Like most Linea ladies, if you say order two, we order three. Quite coincidentally, I had purchased the same Havaianas flip flops the models wore in seafoam and purple at Costco a couple of weeks ago. I’m going back for the pink tomorrow.

Dear Carol….it was quite amazing that they had a color to work with each tie dye dress. I really wanted to show the dress with flip flops…………. if I left it up to the models they would have all come out in platform, sky high heels…..which for me is so wrong with those dresses. I would love a 2 inch heel sandal or slide for a little dressier look. Jac has a pair of slides with a short heel….. with tiny white sequins and crystals, and they are perfect with each dress.

Your choice of shoes was perfect for this California girl. That’s they way we’ll all being wearing our maxis here. Can’t wait to get my dresses. A maxi and a jeans jacket are my summer uniform for comfort and style!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I had to special order the thongs for the girls to wear, because they really don’t have flats in their shoe wardrobes? The “sportiest” and most “casual” thing they have are wedgies….still a mile high….they are a funny bunch..LOL

Amazingly elegant shows! I’ve been a bit out of breath since the grand Sneak Peak over the weekend 🙂 Thank you for showing us the courtesy of your sneak peaks and this blog. I loved hearing the background for the coral and navy sweaters, for example, and bought both. The items patterned after your Look Book are absolutely in a different realm! CLASS! I thought your comments on being a Legend were very grounded and not only thought out, but obviously lived out! I know we’re all so proud of our connection to you, Louis & Jac! I planned thoroughly and placed my order at midnight (9pm Pacific time). Then I bought other pieces as a result of seeing them modeled – one the maxi in seafoam modeled by Jac 🙂 The day of the shows my order for several pairs of the OLO pants and sleeveless tops came in! The pants somehow fall from the graceful pleats to frame the legs creating a very slim look. It’s a bit mystifying 🙂 Exquisite! Congratulations and THANK YOU!

Dear Becky…..living on the Pacific coast you are especially going to love the dress in the seafoam….the color is incredible

  6. Sheesh

Gosh, Louis, this was one of the best visits—EVER! When you said get two Tie Dye Dresses, I promptly ordered three! The Hot Pink, the Seafoam and the Purple! I got a myriad of other items, including three Bohos, the Black lace Jacket, a Lotus Print set in Blush and the Pink “Chanel” with Black pants—and the Black Drape Front Boucle. I’m on Waitlist for the Smoke Tank—after you verified it is fabulous with the Grey Feather Print Skit—I went to get it–and it was on the dreaded WL. After the June shows, I hope you take some well deserved time off with Jac. When do the Transitional and Fall/Winter collections begin appearing?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

We are thinking about going away right after the June show…If I could only get my wife to SIT for five minutes so we could make a plan!

  7. Seka

    Louis,

That all expectations were exceeded – fantastic! Loved the Shows.

Was going to buy only 2 Feather Jersey items (fabulous fabric) – until the ‘new item’ Sneak Peeks were posted. Ended up with several items – including 2 of the Tie Dye dresses (Tangerine & Latte) – they are stunning. Simplicity with such style – the pleating – the pockets – love the length (for me will be well above ankle). QVC probably didn’t post this item until just before the 7:00pm Show because they knew it would have sold out before the Show!

    Congratulation to you and Jac!

    Seka.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Seka you have to let me know how you liked everything, or not if that’s the case too. I’m sure you are going to love the new tie dye dresses. Every color was beautiful. The Latte was the only neutral color, so I’m glad everyone liked it.

Louis: the shows were wonderful–admit I watched the first in my office with door closed! They always go too quickly. Bought the maxi dress in three colors (pink, orange and purple), lace jacket in black, two print shirts, bohos in navy and white plus many many other things since you were on a couple of weeks ago. I bought that amazing tank dress in white, black and aqua in two sizes each–just in case! I think you are a charming, delightful man and you are a true design legend! I bought your clothes when you were with Anne Klein and yes, I do remember that Waterman ink. I loved the smell! Can’t sing your praises enough!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I totally forgot about the smell, but now that you mentioned it….it came right back to me!

  9. Sharon Santourian Holman

Exceeded all expectations, now that is incredible. Congratulations to all of us.:)

    Louis,

I loved both shows yesterday. As a new retiree I was home to see both. A question…any idea when A233957, the cowl neck feather jersey will be available?

    Thanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I keep asking but haven’t gotten an answer?? I know it’s there at QVC.

  11. Mary Kellogg

I cannot WAIT to receive all my items! And that maxi dress! PLEASE reorder as soon as you can!

Thank you for having the BOHO on easy pay! I purchase the four I didn’t have!

You and Jac looked GREAT! Handsome couple!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mary, I would love to take the credit for the easy pay, but those decisions are made by QVC. If it were really up to me …..everything would be on easy pay…LOL…Reorders are their decisions too….I have zero say in the matter.

  12. Diamondscribe

And, when you were with the buyers, did you discuss the possibility of a 2014 TSV? Greedy, aren’t I? I agree…Jac looked radiant. She looked spectacular in the Chanel-style jacket, which I ordered in bamboo after seeing it on her. I ordered the jacket, both colors of the pants in petites (before they flew out the door), and the floral cardigan (both colors). I sure hope I guessed right on the pants size because it doesn’t look like a second option will be available. We’ll have to call them “gazelle” pants they leaped out of there so quickly, LOL.

One question about the coral floral cardigan – is that coral the same as the ribbed knit scoop neck coral sweater that was a side order to the TSV? Thanks. Deb

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Diamondscribe……….I checked the samples just to be sure and they look great together. The sweater is a little deeper than the cardigan, but just slightly……so the coral ponte skirt works too.
