    Louis,
Thank you for such wonderful choices. I have been buying your clothing for years now. As I grow and change I continue to find new pieces in your inventory that interest me. A year ago I never would have looked at the Boho tiered skirt and today I ordered 4 of them. I love the many aspects of our personailities that your clothing enhances.

As for the new dance skirt, can you give some thoughts as to how I might wear that if not with the body suit? I have a fairly casual work style and typically wear dress pants with sweaters/cardigans/jackets. Although jeans, cowboy boots, and more bohemian pieces are also a favorite. But I don’t have a need for dressier outfits. How do I style the skirt for a more casual lifestyle?

Thanks again for providing such quality sytlish clothing AND sharing your expertise on how to fashion the outfits for our lifestyles! You are a gem!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tuni, you should wear the skirt exactly with the same pieces you would wear with pants….cowboy boots and all. It really is an easy skirt and all kinds of shirts t-shirts, sweaters jackets etc. would work. I don’t know you, but just from what you described you would probably like a T-shirt and a zip front hoodie which would be real casual and very modern and the cowboy boos would look great with it.

      1. Tuni

Thanks so much for the advice. I intend to get each color–I think the flow of the skirt looks so lovely! I just adore having a closet full of Linea!

    Dear Louis,

I see that there is a reorder posted of the divine kimono jacket with the embroidered sleeve. As no photo is yet available, can you tell us what color the embroidery is on the navy jacket? Will it coordinate with one of the shells/pants we already have, or will there be new coordinates for this color?

    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The navy kimono has ivory embroidery…..the same color that was on the black, which was not reordered…..the shell and pant that was sold with the first kimonos will work. I will be showing it with the white Kate shirt and jeans or an ivory tank and jeans. The TSV navy pant and ivory pant also work.

  3. Cathy

Today, UPS brought my Pebble Crepe Boatneck Tunic in … Chili Pepper Red. I could ‘t be happier; it’s just lovely! I will wear now, over a turtleneck, with black. For spring, OR to warmer places with linens, cottons, khakis … Very tempted to order a spare in this color, have spare in Navy, and this will see as much use.

    Thanks, Louis!

    Dear Louis
There are so many questions, my question on 1/2 @5:07 was overlooked regarding the mushroom WK, did not get a reply. Thanks

  5. njlady

    Hi again,
I just saw the bodysuit & love. I am concerned about the midruff area. If my weight is there – will the bodysuit accentuate
    that area?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Have you ever worn a body suit or a leotard? There are always solutions….spanx….A body suit won’t hide it but a jacket or high waisted pants will.

    2. njlady

      Would you size up?????
If your weight is in the middle

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think you should get your size either it will work or not. I do not think this is the kind of style that going bigger is the answer

  6. njlady

    Hi Louis,
Does the TSV jacket have a lot of stretch – is it the same measurements as the denim jacket?
The animal print was smaller in chest area & I was afraid to purchase
    Thanx & can’t wait

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The TSV has more stretch than the denim and since only the front is lined and the sleeves and back are unlined the fabric has more stretch to it. Knit jackets with stretch will usually have smaller measurements than woven jackets with no stretch….or else they can look baggy.

      1. njlady

But you would get your normal size if measurements are smaller?

        1. Carol

Butting in here–I get my normal size in the stretchy jackets and they are perfect. I wear a size small, so I can’t speak to women’s sizes if that’s what you wear. I know the sizes jump more in them.

          crdlb

        2. Louis Dell'Olio

Are the measurements smaller than you or smaller than what you normally wear. If they are smaller than you than yes, go up a size, but if they are smaller than what you normally wear …than no, go with your normal size.

  7. Breee

I tend to wear the tweed jackets with pants and the sunburst pleat skirt. My question is whether to wear the tarragon tweed jacket with the ivory flounce skirt or are the two pieces just too different in their styles to wear together? Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bree…..I am not sure which skirt you are referring to? Do you mean the boho or the 4 tiered skirt with the bottom pleated row….or is it another. First, I will say you could wear the ivory skirt with the tweed jacket and a turtle neck or a man’s shirt [like the KATE shirt] layered over a turtleneck and a men’s style belt, a hip belt or a western belt and western style boots for a very RALPH LAUREN look. but it has to be done to the nines or it could look silly. It would work better with the boho length. Of course if you have the boho in olive that would be a no brainer. I do like the idea of the ivory skirt, but as I said, you would really have to play up the whole western prairie look. It would make a very strong statement, so be ready for stares.

      1. Breee

Louis, I am sorry for the incorrect description. The ivory skirt is the textured weave with the peplum A229714.

Your above description sounds just like my precious tenant except her skirts are much shorter. She is adorable. She teaches cheerleading competition!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

In that case…..no. I do not think those two pieces work well together.

          1. Breee

Thank you Louis for your reply. I really did like the color combination, but did not feel that the two pieces should be worn together. But I thought I would ask and see what you said. I do have several Linea Ivory pants and ivory turtlenecks to wear with the tarragon tweed. I did purchase the tarragon and ivory blouses with the ties as well as the tarragon sunburst skirt. I also have the WW WK in the teal color as well as the teal WK TK. So I do have lots to wear with that tarragon jacket.

  8. Carol Alexander

    Hi Louis,
Also want to thank you for many years of beautiful clothes. I was so disappointed that the Q has decided not to ship to Canada, but we are such a small market to them.

I have hopefully managed to set sources (thanks Loren)in play so that I will continue to have access to your line, though I will need to be more prudent with my purchases. I am glad that I was able to purchase a few of your new pieces before the wall came down.

    Thanks
    Carol (calex)

  9. Tylerpoo

    Dear Louis,
The WK’s that are coming in March/April, will there be any mushroom color like the WK turtleneck, short sleeves?

  10. njlady

    Hi,
Can’t wait for the TSV jacket, You said it should be the same measurements as the denim but the Ponte knit will have stretch-
    correct?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Basically yes….but I wasn’t there at QVC for the fittings so I am assuming they kept it pretty much the same.

  11. nikki

Louis I just rec’d the chilipepper pebblecrepe tunic. The color is BEAUTIFUL> Just what I needed on this cloudy winter day. I have a few others so I know the fit will be perfect. Look forward to the show on Jan 7

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki…..that’s great news…..you’re the first review! so it’s off to a great start! Please don’t forget to post reviews on the Linea site and the Fashion forum! It’s important for women to know.

      1. nikki

Done already with a request for more deep saturated colors- tarragon, topaz? or tourquoise or what ever you come up with. This fabric takes color beautifully, ofcourse it helps to have your taste so that the color is just perfect for the tunic

  13. DeLois

Since the coming TSV will be a knit and I am a small in shoulders and sleeve length and usually order a medium in a blazer to fit the mid section, but it is a little on the roomy side, I am wondering if I dare order a small in the TSV as it will have give and the peplum back. Will the measurements be the same as the denim jacket from last year…….???????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think the fit is similar to the denim, but the fabrics are quite different. I still think you should keep to your size, especially if you intend to button it.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

On second thought….if you have narrow shoulders and sleeves are usually long, you may be able to get away with the small. You should wait for the measurements to come out.

  14. Seka

Dear Louis, I placed my final Linea order yesterday – before the cut off for shipments to Canada (reviewed all the current items & videos to make sure I purchased all items that I wanted). I love all of my Linea pieces – and will miss being able to purchase your upcoming collections). Thank you for all that you do – your commitment to your designs – and your customers is simply incredible. The quality of your items is outstanding. You are the best Designer in QVC’s portfolio!

Best wishes to you and Jac for a happy healthy New Year – and continued success with Linea.

    Sincerely,
    Seka.

    1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Oh Seka, this is so heartbreaking! I cannot believe QVC did this.

      1. Kate

I sincerely hope that QVC reconsiders.
        Kate in Calgary

        1. Claudia (chprsp)

What a shame. I think QVC was very shortsighted.

    2. Mary

I can’t imagine if I wasn’t able to buy Louis’ clothes any more. I’m so sorry this has happened.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Seka,
Even though we have never met I honestly feel there is a connection between us. Clothes may have brought us together, but we know it is so much more….don’t we. I will miss not being able to provide you with my clothing but PLEASE don’t be a stranger. If you have any questions or need any kind of fashion advise…..I am always here to help you…….have a very Happy New Year and I look forward to hearing from you in 2013!

  15. Kate

I’ve lost track about the issue of a denim skirt to coordinate with last spring’s fabulous denim jacket. Help! Also, will you be showing any summery LBDs going forward?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There is a denim pencil skirt coming in the same fabric as last year however, even though it’s supposed to be the same indigo…..because it is a “WASHED” fabric the colors may not be exactly the same. It’s also coming in white and “Sun Shine YELLOW”.

      1. Diamondscribe

Dear Louis, I’m wearing my denim pieces to work today. Your denim is the best! I can wear these items to work on casual days without worrying whether I will end up having to wear them into an unexpected meeting with “suits”, LOL. I love the pants. I know it’s too late this year, but do you think there might be a chance of getting the buyer to go with a denim pant with a slim leg – like the slim leg pants that came in fawn, olive and black? Those are may all-time favorite Linea trousers and I would love to have them in denim. Thanks, Deb

      2. Kate

Yellow? You know what? I’m gonna break out of my comfort zone and buy that color. Fresh and fun.

      3. Susana (Suzzeee)

So glad you’re doing a color and the white in the denim skirt!! I’ll get the white for sure and maybe the yellow too!

  16. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Oops – forgot a question Louis!
    4. Do the “cobalts” in the new abstract skirt and top and the cobalt in the new gauze topper jacket “match”/coordinate? Thanks!!!

  17. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Happy New Year’s Eve Louis & Jac!

Here’s a couple of random questions.
    1. Will A219798 – what I refer to as the LONGER pencil skirt – be reordered in any additional colors?
    2. Does the peplum in the coming TSV have a tendency to look like it adds girth to the plus size gal in the side view or does the fabric content make it more drapey?
    3. After the recent whisper knit loss re: Hurricane Sandy – you sometimes reference the fact that some of the coming WK pieces will be showing up “early Spring”. Would the definition of early Spring be more like March or more like late April? 🙂 Sure love my Whisper Knit!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Nancy,
1-No the longer skirt will not be reordered. I think the problem was the colors, so the selling was fair, but not fair to the skirt. If I had done it in all dark colors instead od P Pink and Sand it probably would have done much better.
2-I do not believe the back peplum will add anything! I really think it is much more flattering to have a little extra fabric back there that looks like it’s supposed to be there….than seeing a woman wearing a blazer with a back vent that is pulling open because it is tight. I looked great on our 1x model and she loved it……but everyone sees themselves differently and we are our own worst critics.
3-I do not have an exact date. They are supposed to be in March, but I do not know if that is March selling or April selling due to the processing time.
      4-The cobalts do coordinate.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Hurray on the cobalt coordination 🙂 BOO on the loss of the longer pencil which I LOVE!!!! Will definitely give the TSV a try. I totally agree about pulled-open back vents! Many thanks!

  18. aunt faye

Will the ivory pants that go with the TSV be in a winter ponte? Also, what is the fit like? I ordered the lighter weight ivory pant and they were large on me. That was the first time I ever ordered your pants.
And will WK sweaters be elbow and/or short sleeves?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear aunt faye,
I would not say that the ponte is a heavy fabric as this is geared more for milder weather. That is not to say you couldn’t wear it right now depending where you live. Since I do not know which light weight ivory pant you are referencing, I really can’t make a comparison.I will say the last one I sold is a roomier pant with a wider leg opening. This pant has a 7- 7 1/4 inch leg opening so it is a relatively slim pant leg. It has a zip front and a 2 inch contour waist band with two buttons. Depending on whether you are short or long waisted…..the contour band should sit at or below the natural waist line. There are no elastic gores in the waist band…..it is totally smooth, but it has plenty of stretch. I am recommending to buy your normal size.

  19. connie turnbull

Happy New Year to you both (and girls). I am interested in the belt in sneak
peek #6…wide, embossed, black and under the black leather jacket. Any idea
where I might find it? Can’t wait until the 7th.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That is actually a real crocodile belt and is an Anne Klein belt from my collection. It is not avail. anywhere that I know of. I have had luck on e-bay finding some beautiful belts.

  20. Jane

    Hi Louis,

I was just wondering about your drawstring pants and if you will be bringing them back. I have two pairs already and just picked up one of the last in my size this morning. They are so comfortable, the fit is perfect, and they are lightweight. They are great casual pants and I’m hoping the grey will go with new ponte jacket in grey. I think they would be great in your dark navy.

Happy New Year to you, Jac and the girls!

    Jane

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane…..I was sure those pants would have been a slam dunk reorder, but it seems the returns were too high to be considered as a potential reorder…sorry. I too thought they were terrific pants that bridged casual and dressy.

      1. Jane

Thanks, Louis, for your reply. I guess I just don’t understand QVC’s “thinking.” These pants are virtually Sold Out — just a very very few left — so obviously, even though some were returned, almost all have since been bought. So many time the returns are just to find the right size. That’s the nature of buying online where you can’t try them on and QVC should know that. Enough said.

        Jane

        1. Barbara in Virginia

What Jane said. I would also love them in other colors. AND the body suit!

  21. Tylerpoo

    Dear Louis,
Will the short sleeve mock neck in persimmon be back in next quarter(Jan,Feb,Mar)?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No…..since that was sold during the “Fall” season it won’t, if reordered, be back until July, August or Sept.

  22. Diane Klober

Is the sea green a green that would look good with navy? I did read your description of the color but still can’t picture it. Also on the TSV pictures I saw the sleeves looked short? I figure that have to cut some corners to bring in a TSV so could it be sleeve length?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The Sea Green is an Azure or Turquoise Green and looks great with navy. Trust me when I say no corners were cut on this jacket and the QVC buyer wanted the whole kitchen sink which means three working buttons on each sleeve, piped seams etc.. If corners were to be cut there would only be one button….or none. The sleeve measurement is the same as it usually is. It is not shorter than we normally do. I do not know the model in the pictures as she is not a QVC “show” model…….so her arms may be long. Since there are 3 working buttons the sleeves can not be made longer….or shorter. The only adjustment would be to turn them back……which they were designed and finished to do.

    Hi Louis:

Perhaps too late, but would like to request A09484 Ribbed Knit Pencil skirt in your Aubergine for Fall 2013? Love that skirt – need that color, please!

    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It hasn’t been reordered yet, but if it is, Aubergine is at the top of the list.

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

Also hope for reorder of A228338 in Black & Ivory. Adore the Tarragon w/matching skirt – such a glam retro look – many, many compliments. It’s a dream of a blouse – well done!

      2. Carol

We will storm the battlements if they do not reorder that skirt! I want aubergine for sure!

        crdlb

        1. Barbara in Virginia

I would also love another Aubergine WK T-neck. Seems that I grab that color more than any other! Also, a boot length knit skirt.

  24. Cheryl

    Louis,

Will your new ponte knit pants be available in petites? I can’t wait for your Jan. shows!

    Cheryl

      1. Cheryl

YEAH! I just wish I could order them now. I have been looking for ponte knit pants recently but never was able to find ones that I liked. Needless to say, I stopped looking elsewhere when I discovered you were bringing them to us soon. Both the sea green and the iris will probably call my name in the jackets, too.

      2. Cheryl

YEAH! I had been looking for ponte knit pants recently, but I stopped looking elsewhere when I discovered you were bringing them to us.

  25. new york karan

I think they mixed up the days for the items. When I was able to orders Thursday items early Wednesday morning, I wondered why they were listed more than 24 hours before they were to be aired. It wasn’t until Wednesday night items for the PM show didn’t show up until after midnight (Thursday morning) that it was oblivious that someone had the items listed for the wrong days. QVC should make up for this loss. Give you more air time? Reair that part of the PM program? They need to do something.

  26. Betsy

Louis, In my ordering scramble for the new ponte knit jacquard jacket (A230025), I missed the on air presentation — would you consider this to be a jacket for three out of the four seasons for most of us? Based on your sneek peak description, it appears that way. Same question for the unlined coordinating ponte knit skirt? I don’t often buy multiple colors (except when I find the perfect heel for work) but I did in the jacket and skirt. The different colors in the jacket each go a different ‘style’ direction for me — didn’t say that well. Thanks for any insight.

    Betsy

  27. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

Did you present A23002, your new jacket on the air? I can’t seem to find the video for it but I ordered the grey.
    Dariann

  28. Pamela in Anchorage

    Dear Louis:

You stated in the sneak peek of A230027 is same fabric as A228334. QVC lists fabric as 81% poly, 16% rayon, 3% spandex whereas A2284334 is 52% poly,48% rayon. Can you provide clarity?

Like many others, I was forced to use auto order by phone without any product info including sizing. This is my 1st Linea dress and chose my usual size M since it looked to be very fitted. I normally size down in knits based upon the amount of stretch – Hope I made the right decision? Returns are costly for me & sorely affect future reorders of beloved Linea when sellouts occur. Sure wish QVC would get thier act together!! Looking forward to wearing the Brown with many of my fav Linea jackets, especially the Topaz blazer for sure. TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Did I say they were the same?? They are only similar in that they are both solid ponte knits, but they are two very different qualities. The A230027 is a heavier quality than the A228334. I used the lighter weight for the draped dress, A228334, because it is thinner and the pleats would not be bulky and the dress would hang properly. The knit for the A230027 is more structured and better for a more sculptural silhouette.

  29. Inna

    Hi Louis,
I was so busy ordering by phone, that I missed the presentation. Would you say that A230025 ponte knit jacket runs smaller than usual? Do you know if Kate was wearing her usual size XXS? I was able to order this jacket in 4 colors, but I was wondering if I should of sized up. Would you pair the cobalt pencil skirt A230026 with the cobalt gauze cardigan A230028? Many thanks for these gorgeous garments!
Happy New Year to you and Jac!
    Inna

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I honestly don’t think it runs smaller. QVC fit this jacket so I don’t know for sure, but because it is a knitted fabric and it is UNLINED that may account for the different measurements. Wovens that do not stretch are often a little bigger to compensate for the lack of stretch. Kate was wearing her regular xxs. I find XXS fits Kate every wear but the sleeve length and the shoulder can be narrow on her because she is NOT an xxs width shoulder, but the body fit fine. I think you should go with your regular size. Personally I prefer this jacket to be a little on the small side than too big!The too cobalt fabrics look very good…..with a black knit shell to break it up it will look fabulous.

      1. Inna

Thank you so much for your advise. I did order my regular size XXS. I was worried because I have broad shoulders. I’m going to order the cobalt pencil skirt to match the cobalt gauze cardigan.
        Inna

  30. Cela

The coral color to match the TSV is a great color for a leather/knit jacket.
What a “howl” it would have been to see this odd color in the fall lineup and having people guessing what in the world it matches. Of course, it would have all made sense on Jan. 7– this way we would have a hip looking jacket to match all the fabulous things coming on Jan. 7 to take “on holiday”.
Somethng, not so formal as a blazer, but fun and hip for vacation to MAKE your trip. Just a thought for next year–does this make sense?

P.S. I think the coral TSV is gorgeous, everybody looks great in that shade.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Certainly it makes sense. It scares me a little, not for the color, but every time you do something in an unexpected , some what controversial color, the chances of it not selling well become greater, especially something with a high price tag. I wouldn’t want to be selling coral leather jackets for years to come..it’s bad enough there are still tarragon jackets and that’s considered a commercial color?………..go figure????LOL

      1. Cela

I see, I thought all the leather jackets sold like hot cakes. That was a tough decision for me…tarragon leather or tarragon tweed, finally settled on the tweed.

  31. njlady

    Hi Louis,
I tried to get measurements for A230025. They didn’t have on line (in computer) under new & couldn’t find.
When finally on air for a medium – it said 40.5 inches for chest. I was really afraid to order – usually your jackets are
41 1/2 – 42. Could you tell me if it was considered fitted? Is your TSV going to be normal? Hope so – your jackets fit perfectly – but I was afraid to order it.
Thanx, so excited for Jan 7th

  32. Betsy

    Hi Louis —

I have never tried so hard to order something from QVC in my life. I always believed that they wanted you to purchase their products. The ladies have told you about the inability to order on line before, after or during the show but the phone reps (although very pleasant)were equally difficult. First, I was told that the Linea clothes being on offered on air at that very moment did NOT exist. Next, I was told that they were all sold out and there was no waitlist. Finally I was told that there was a computer problem (well, duh) and I would need to call back another time. On my fourth call, I told the rep that I was going to wait on the line until I could place my order for the Linea products being shown on air with an all green availability guide. Told her I had my coffee in hand was willing to wait for as long as it took to place my order. So finally, I ordered the jacket (love it) and skirt in EVERY color and the dress in raspberry. This made the old scramble at Filene’s basement to get designer clothes at a discount look like a cake walk.

If there is anything that you could suggest at the Q to make this a bit easier on the Ladies, it would be greatly appreciated. Fingers crossed that all will be smooth with the upcoming TSV.

Safe travels to you and Jac (and loved the Xmas photo of the girls!!!)

    Betsy

  33. DeLois

WHAT A MESS LAST NIGHT ON PM STYLE …….. I was so busy ordering by phone since I could not pull up a single thing on my computer…….. I completely missed really seeing the items on tv………… someone forgot to unlock the items……. I did get what I wanted, but would have loved to study the models in the outfits, but alas I was punching buttons on the phone. So sad, QVC website has been a mess lately……….. they owe you more time, Louis……

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I knew something was wrong but I didn’t know what was going on. I ‘ m still not totally sure what the problem was……..it’s always something.

      1. Jane

        Dear Louis,

Yes, it was a total mess last night. Your items were not available to order online and even calling in many of the order reps said they were Sold Out since that was what was showing. Your new items never appeared on the PM Style list of products. I had to call 3 times until I got a rep who was able to take the order. Even today the ponte jacket A230025 shows a price of $0!!! but still doesn’t come up when you just search for Linea. Really a disgrace for QVC.

        Jane

      2. DeLois

I had no trouble ordering on automated as long as the item was on the air, hence I missed the presentations…..automated was taking the orders……..

        1. Carol

After the show was over, automated wouldn’t take the orders for the jackets, either. No matter how hard I tried to convince the CS rep that there was no way all sizes and all four colors of the jacket could be sold out in light of the fact that they were not able to be ordered online, she kept insisting that “things often sell out on air.” OMG, if I hadn’t been so worried that I wouldn’t get my jackets, it would have actually been funny. Somebody deserves a spanking over there in their order taking dept. Hope Lisa wasn’t “on commission” for that show or there will be a spanking, I’m sure.

          1. Pamela in Anchorage

During & well after Linea was “On Air”, I could not place my order by phone with CS nor Auto Order nor online (dress was not even posted). When Lisa stated that the Chocolate was very popular (A230027) & over 500 had already been ordered, I felt instant betrayal – shame on her!
Linea does not require the ‘Hard Sell’. QVC owes Louis & his loyal customers a HUGE apology. Hence- No Video – No Crime!

          2. Pamela in Anchorage

During & well after Linea was ‘On Air’, it was impossible to place orders by phone with CS nor Auto Order nor online (A230027 was not posted – at all)! When Lisa stated that the Chocolate was very popular & over 500 already ordered, I felt instant betrayal. QVC owes LDO & his loyal customers a HUGE apology. We probably won’t been viewing online video of the dress – No Video – No Crime!

  34. Marianne

    Hi Louis,
I am inquiring about the necklace and earring set your wife was wearing on WEDNESDAY, 12/26/12 PM STYLE. I checked QVC.com and I don’t see it available. Can you let me know if it is available. I just love it. Thank you and I just love your fashions and jewelry.

    Marianne

    1. Kate

Let me also ask about the wind chime necklace and matching earrings seen on this morning’s AM style!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Marianne ….my wife was wearing new Linea samples and they will be avail. Later in the season….will keep you posted.

      1. Marianne Fabricatore

        Louis,

Thank you so much for your reply. I will be anxiously waiting.

        Marianne

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

Jac was wearing new Linea samples. They will be avail. Later in the season. I will keep you posted.

  35. Chris/Jazzmom

A question about the sea green color coming soon in the blouse and the new jacket– is that color the same or close in color to the spruce green shabby chic cardigan’s velvet trim? Is the iris coming similar to the magenta colored cardigan’s velvet trim?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would say the new “Sea Green” is a cross between the A223658, reef green dress and the A216528, peacock jacket. It is not as light as the reef green and not as dark as the peacock. Mix them together and add a tint of blue and you have it. Sneak peeks will come early Jan.

      1. Carol

OOOOH! Sea green. Shall we refer to your Anguilla winter holiday photos?

  36. liz

Hi Louis. Will there be any pants in fashion colors coming.I love the jackets and would purchase more items if unique slacks were available.I have a closet full of black pants(as does everywomen)and would enjoy something a little jazzier! Liz

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Liz,
The decision was made to offer the skirt in all of the colors working back to the TSV jacket, but the pants would be just in the classic Navy, Black and Ivory. I have not had much success with colored pants in the past, yes we sell a few, but they are never a sell out. Personally, I like pants in color, especially in the spring, but most women are afraid to wear a pants in colors, where as a skirt is OK??? From the Coral, Iris and Sea Green , out of curiosity, which colors would you buy?

      1. Diamondscribe

I’m with Liz. I buy pants in fashion colors. I’m a plus size and carry more weight in the top but am slender in the legs and hips. I like to pair a darker color in the jacket with a brighter color in the pant to balance things off a bit. I would definitely buy the pants in coral. I think the TSV in navy would be great over coral pants. Coral would also be great with khaki, brown, and of course ivory. I would need to see what kind of green is “sea green”. I wouldn’t buy iris (I’m not much into purples).

Is there a chance that we might see brown ponte knit pants to go with the tortoise ponte zip jacket? Deb

      2. liz

I would probably buy all of them but especially the green. What I was initially thinking of was the cobalt color.Still subtle but different than navy.I just have no need for skirts but casual pants I could wear everywhere. Thanks for the reply.
        Merry Christmas to all!

      3. Chris/Jazzmom

I would buy the coral skirt and possibly the sea green– it depends on what shade of green that sea green is. I already have the lavender pants from last spring so do not need the iris color (unless it is like the violet jacket color with satin trim)– then maybe…..

      4. upallnight1/Deborah

Sorry, I’m one of those ladies who only buys pants in khaki, brown, olive and black, ivory when I’m thinner and not taking public transportation. I’m a former New Yorker who LOVED the ease, expediency and affordability of public transportation, so light colors didn’t work for me back east. Now that I live in the mountain west, I see earth colors, jeans and black are the norm here. The snow easily gets slushy in even the most upscale parking lots in the winter, and it’s dusty here year round, so those colors fit the landscape, look sharp AND hide the dirt.

Thanks so much for your olive collection. I’ve gotten/am getting so much use out of them as well as all of the whisper knits and drawstring pants!!!! Also, I wear your velvet trimmed cardigans at least once or twice a week and get compliments on them every time I do. Of course, I tell the ladies where to find you!

        1. Kristen/spagal

I’d buy the coral pants to make a suit with the TSV

  37. TSV

Almost all TSVs are promoted like crazy and some even allow for purchase before the airing date. I really, really dislike the Q’s game playing. I was able to find Godfreako’s link and it just worked for me. Hope it works for the Linea Ladies who missed it. Louis, love your work! I cannot wait to see the items that coordinate with this TSV; I am hoping for pants. I’m also hoping they will let you bring in some scarfs. Then I’d really swoon.
    http://community.qvc.com/forums/topic/346575/tsv-pic-in-case-you-missed-it.aspx

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

There will be a pant, a skirt and a WK sweater to coordinate with the TSV.

  38. njlady

    Hi Louis,
Love the sneak peek. It looks very fitted.
Is the medium 41 or 42 below bust? Also did you put the wrong date – December 26th and not Jan. 26?

Also, the Todays special is showing pix – is the black with gunmetal buttons? and also is the medium 41 or 42?
    Thanx and happy holidays

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi njlady…..I would not say it is very fitted more semi fitted. Sorry but I do not know specific measurements.
I didn’t make a mistake with the date. I will be on PM Style on December 26, I believe at 9pm. I will also be on the Morning Show with Jane and Pat on Dec. 27th and again at noon on Q Check with Amy Stran. There will b new things on each show………….Then I will be on again on Jan 7th with my TSV!

    2. njlady

Thanks – glad it is semi-fitted
You did write in your sneak peak January 26th with Lisa

You didn’t answer about the buttons for TSV
      Love your stuff

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Some of the colors have silver buttons, like the black and some have gold, like the navy and ivory

    3. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Oh am I ever glad you posted this! I calendared January 26th for these….so it is December . I would have missed it. Good post.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry for the confusion. For my entire life I have been at war with numbers!!!!I will be on Dec. 26th PM Style…..then on Dec 27, the morning show with Jayne and Pat and then again at noon on Q Check with Amy Stran….all new things!

  39. Gail

That is a photo full of personality. Annie is wearing the cross pendant in green, which I just purchased. I hope I can wear it with as much elan as she.

  40. Pamela in Anchorage

    Dear Louis:

Is it much too late for a Fall 2013 customer request? Thanks in Advance.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s a little late as all has been chosen……but just in case…what’s your request?

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

Your consideration is much appreciated, but I’ll keep it on the back burner for now. Know that there will be great designs to come. My Mother adored AK & wore many of your designs of that era – That’s why Linea is in my DNA!

        Thanks for your reply……Pamela

  41. Grits

Louis, I’m so looking forward to your winter offerings — especially a TSV. How great is that! I thought I’d let you know how much I’ve enjoyed your tie-dye three-quarter sleeve cardigans. I hope you’ll bring that silhouette back in other prints or solids. I have so many of your lovely long-sleeve cardis, but can only wear them in the winter. I can wear the three-quarter sleeve almost year round.

    Have a Merry Christmas!

  42. designista

Hi Louis, I’m asking Santa for a Chili Pepper jacket/blazer! I can’t believe I’m going to miss your shows on January 7 after waiting all of this time for you to have a TSV. I’m sick! I’ll be ziplining in the Costa Rican rain forest; talk about being out of touch! Merry Christmas to you Jac and the Girls!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

We will miss you…..but never feel badly about zip lining in Costa Rica…..want to change places?

  43. Little Red Riding Hood (cashmere of course!!)

Ladies, thank you for the reply about the Jan. TSV. I am anxious to add to my Linea fall collection of jackets and tops and pants and jewelry and dresses and knits and lace pieces. In my humble opinion Louis’s designs outshine all others; more elegant, more American classic then RL! A perfect eye for colors, fabrics and patterns. My favorite designer since AK days.

    Louis,you mentioned running out of names for colors like the super beautiful topaz;
well, how about British tan, tobacco, whiskey (notice a pattern :>) but really, anything you want to call your colors is OK with us, your fans … just keep ‘um coming. And thank you very much.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
    MCS

  44. Little Red Riding Hood (cashmere of course!!)

Come on Girls … Jean, Debbie – WHAT is the description in the Inside Q???

    1. Debbie

This is the description “Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Ponte Blazer with Back Peplum Detail”. There are comments on the QVC Forum wondering and hoping that this is like the Denim jacket with peplum. But, since Louis is sworn to secrecy, we will have to wait until Jan 7th.

      1. Jean

If Debbie is right about the 1/7/13 TSV being a similar cut to the A222543 Denim Blazer, I will be very excited to see what colors and fabric (textured? patterned?). I didn’t want it in denim (only Ralph Lauren denim jackets for me), but I love the ponte idea. Watched the video and read the reviews, and even the very few lower ratings had mostly positive comments on fit. Wow! Just imagine how excited we’ll be by January!

          1. Cathy in PA

Engines fueled and ready to go LOL!

            Cathy in PA

          2. Sheesh

Well, my engine will be started, Louis, but it will be in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 7th! I leave the US on January 3rd—can’t believe I’ll miss the TSV. Not sure if I can get QVC Live over there…sometimes there are blocks on the feeds, but If so, I’ll watch when I can (the show will start at 8AM on January 8th in J’burg.) At any rate, I’ll order on line, sight unseen. I always have confidence in you, Louis. I’ll be in Africa for 6-8 weeks and my 28″ Pullman will contain nothing but Linea, for business meetings and for casual wear! It is Summer over there, so bringing out favorites from the last few seasons. The flight over is 21 hours, so I’ll be wearing Whisperknit pants and T-neck all the way! Merry Christmas to you and Jac…and all the best in 2013.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sheesh….We will miss you, but have no fear about ordering sight unseen…..Haven’t you seen the pictures posted on the Fashion forum by “GODFREAko”? They were very good shots taken by QVC
If I were on a 21 hour flight!!!! I would be in PJs

            2. Sheesh

Thanks, Louis. I did just see the pics posted by Godfreako and I will definitely be getting the TSV in multiple colors…plus matching skirts. I’m loving the new Animal Print jacket in Brown, too, plus the new dress in Black. My “total” flight time to South Africa is 21 hours, which includes a layover in Atlanta and then 17 hours straight to Johannesburg–and the Whisper Knit pants are just like pajamas–they are that comfortable–so I’ll be perfectly comfy. Thanks, Louis for all you do for us…I am very grateful.

    2. Kate

Kate: I have the Insider and don’t know where the “Forum” is? Can you help.

  45. connie turnbull

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you both. Looking forward to your December and January visits.
Please, please, please bring more of A228554…leather blazer with rib knit
sleeves in black. I have the tarragon and “must” have it in another color.
Thank you for bringing us the wonderful designs.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Connie,
I would love to bring that leather blazer back in a new color. However, it is up to QVC whether it get’s reordered. What color were you thing of?

      1. Debbie Macy

        I would love walnut.

        1. upallnight1

Me,too! Walnut, first choice, cognac 2nd choice

          1. Qulia

Yes, Walnut and Ivory/sand! I’d have to get both if you brought in those as your two new colors.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Ivory/Sand…….nice dream,I can see the returns now and someone getting an ivory return in a ball in a plastic bag….LOL. I think I’ll would stay with the darker colors.

            2. upallnight1

Good point! My husband LOVES the tarragon. He said it’s soooo classy! Thank you, and happy holidays to you and Jac!

            3. Debbie Macy

LOL, Louis! You have been reading the Linea forum…

      2. Chris/Jazzmom

I would be interested in a walnut color too.

      3. Diamondscribe

I add my vote to the walnut. That is such a beautiful brown. Or, if not brown, maybe steel gray? I love your grays also. Deborah

        1. Diamondscribe

Another dream color… dark mushroom like your knit skirt. That is such an elegant color.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Surprised no one has asked for a deep spruce green…..where’s blinddogs? LOL

            1. Donna

Yes yes yes that sounds lovely!

            2. Cathy in PA

Okay, I’ll ask … but I want Spruce Green SUEDE … at least in my dreams 🙂

              Cathy in PA

            3. Breee

I would love a deep spruce green. I have a leather jacket in that color from Terry Lewis that is too large for me now. Also I would like the short sleeve mockneck in WK in long sleeves. Spruce green in a long sleeve mockneck would be delicious. Merlot would also be a good color choice.

            4. blinddogs

Here I am Louis! Since I have that leather/knit jacket in tarragon, I’m OK in the green department on that style! Your greens are so versatile– gotta have them all! But on this jacket, I’m in with the rest of the ladies who wish for a walnut shade.–Blinddogs

      4. enjay

Burgundy or your gorgeous aubergine! Such a warm, rich, flattering color.

Or … a nice British saddle color.

      5. connie turnbull

I definitely want “have to have” the black…already have the tarragon and
would also like another color. PS and by the way the faux fur jacket is
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Even better in person. Love it.

        1. connie turnbull

I’m with Enjay…burgundy, aubergine or British saddle tan and of course
bring back black. What leverage do we have with QVC and how?

      6. Sheesh

I’d love that leather jacket with knot sleeves in a Wine/Merlot color…how fabulous would that be?!

  46. Chris/Jazzmom

Want to wish you and Jac a very Merry Christmas, be safe when traveling back to PA.

Will we be seeing your girls in some Linea jewelry this year?

    All the best,
    Chris

    1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Blessed Holidays to you both and everyone here!

  47. Judi

    Hello,

I was wondering if you could tell me where to find the Linea earrings (J153880). I know they were previously on sale at QVC, but are no longer. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these earrings and would love to purchase them. They do not need to be brand new.

    Thank you so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They were only sold through QVC and can not be bought anywhere else…..sorry.

  48. Debbie

Happy Holidays, I just received my January Insider. It gives a description of your TSV, and comments are on the QVC forum, so do you think you might be able to sneak us a peek?

    1. Jean

Debbie, you have sharp eyes. I missed that six-word description on page 25 of the Inside Q. Thanks.

  49. Donna

Louis, I am so excited about your upcoming visits! Patiently (ok not really…) waiting for all those sneak peeks!

  50. new york karan

I just order the Mushroom Whisper Knit Turtleneck. They have it in all sizes. I also got the Drawstring Pants: the only one in my size 🙂 It pays to check back often and see what has been added (I guess they’re returns).
I still am looking for the Whisper Knit Turtleneck in Topaz. Are they going to reorder this color?
Louis, give me some idea what colors will go with my Topaz blazar (besides black). Merry Christmas to all.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear NY karan,
I know that the mushroom WK turtle neck was very oversold which prompted the buyers to immediately reorder that color. As far as which other colors are going to be reordered….at this point I have no idea. All of the colors did extremely well and it seems women who never bought Linea in the past are buying the WK T neck. I would guess how many of the old colors get reordered will be determined by how many new colors they want to add……but that’s a guess.
There are many colors I like with TOPAZ…..deep wine, claret a brighter and redder wine, teal, charcoal gray, dark brown, turquoise, olive, purple, deep crimson red, cobalt or deep sapphire blue and many more. I always suggest ….look for a scarf with the color in it, in this case Topaz, and see what other complimentary color are put with it. Topaz can really be combined with a lot of jewel colors. Where a neutral color bottom, gray brown, navy charcoal, black and with the right jewelry and or accessories, Topaz can work with almost anything……..don’t be afraid to experiment….have fun with it.

  51. Sharon

Hi Louis , since your really good at making collages and sneak peeks how about making a collage of some new items. I believe you said there are six new items so that would make a lovely collage dont you think? I think your Linea Ladies have been very patient considering what Sandy did to all of us.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They are coming!!! Were you the little girl that when round the house, when no one was home, looking for her Christmas presents!

      1. Sharon

I’ll have you know I was the little only child that would get in the closet when my parents were out to dinner and open those gifts and then seal them up again. Then when Xmas came I knew exactly what I was getting. It relieves stress and all that anxiety as to what I was getting. My father was a wonderful woodworker and one year he was making me furniture for my Barbie and my friend Kathy and I laid on our bellies and looked in the basement window and saw him making all that furniture. My Mother realized I didn’t have that surprised look so I confessed and I got yelled at. I don’t do that anymore because now I’m old and want to be surprised so my son tortures me with Neiman Marcus boxes under the Xmas tree.

        1. Claudia (chprsp)

Sharon, I was that child too. Hunted down the presents, carefully opened them, then sealed them back up. I was the only child and only grandchild for 7 years.

          1. Sharon

We were such naughty girls weren’t we? Now all we need is Louis to satisfy our curiosity. Did your family catch on that you already knew what you were getting? MERRY CHRISTMAS HO HO HO

  52. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

    Hi Louis –
I received an email from Charrie today. She wanted to coordinate our outfits for our dinner together Saturday night (so we don’t wear the same thing!). She thinks this is a delightful problem to have. It is a complication associated with our love for Linea that we are eager to address each time we get together! We love you!! 🙂
P.S. Her choice is the ‘French’ striped sweater with bow in purple with black skinny pants. For me, I have not yet made up my mind. Your lovely new coat will certainly be part of the picture.

  53. njlady

    Hi,
I know your lips are sealed as to Jan. 7th BUT can you at least tell us if its Clothing (hoping) or Jewelry.
Thank you for your super designer clothes. Love the leather jacket and will wear much during the holiday.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Its definitely clothing…..however, I will have a new necklace, earring and watch to go with all of it……but my lips are sealed.

      1. Qulia

LOL! You are a tease! I don’t suppose you can keep your lips sealed and show us some sneak peeks? [wink, wink] Sure would love to see what’s coming.

        Julia/Qulia

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Julia, I’m not really a tease…….Well….I guess I am! However, it was you ladies who figured out the TSV all on your own!I will start with sneak peeks of what is coming in Dec. late next week [haven’t taken the pics yet]. The others will have to wait…….I’m really not supposed to reveal what’s coming in Jan..

    2. njlady

Wow – so excited to see it
Hope they will have enough to go around
will we get a peek before????

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not sure if I’m allowed. They don’t mind with the regular clothes but, a TSV has a different set of rules.

        1. Debbie Macy

Well we all have to be up at midnight to place our orders any way. I am happy if you can sneak peek all the other items prior to the show.

  54. Debby

Hi Louis, Will you be bringing back your sleeveless maxi dress with seam detail A223658, this Spring? Hoping for more stock and/or colors.

    Thanks,
    Debby

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      No Debby,
That dress was not reordered to my surprise. Too many returns.

      1. Debby

I’m very surprised also. Ok then, how about the sleeveless grecian maxi dress? Thanks.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

If you mean A222262, no…..if you mean A224712, yes and two new colors.

          1. Pamela in Anchorage

Love that dress – missed out last time! Turquoise, Coral maybe? And excellent news on Spring reorder of the Essential Cardi….Louis, your fabulous knits are 46 weeks wear in my neck of the woods – a WK Tneck or mock is always packed in my weekender during the sailing/fishing season & not a week goes by without a WK turtleneck making my day bright in Winter! Hope your buyers get with WK program on keeping Year ’round AMPLE inventory?!

Very anxious for my Mushroom Tneck,….thanks for the info….Have yourself a great day!

            1. Kristen/spagal

I’m on WL for the new colors in the Greek Maxi so thought I’d post…it’s black with yellow and green with purple. I plan to live in them when it gets warm again.

          2. Debby

Fantastic, thanks! Hoping you bring some more maxi dresses to QVC!

  55. upallnight1

    Hi, Louis!

Am I correct in assuming that the cardigans won’t be reordered in the spring/summer? I certainly hope not, because I like ordering sets.

The rumor is that you will have a TSV on January 7th. Is there any truth to this? Is a sneak peek on the near-horizon? Is QVC still ordering small quantities, even of the alleged TSV? Have I asked enough questions? 🙂

Thanks for all you do! You’ve made my life easier and more beautiful! I bought your black and purple bead jewelry. My mother wore the black to a Christmas party last weekend. She loved it!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear upallnight…..I don’t know which cardigans you are referring to, but the WK classic cardigan and the WK kimono cardigan that were ruined in the flood have been reordered for Spring.
That’s the rumor, but my lips have to remain sealed…..however on the QVC Linea site they do have my next show listed on the 7th at midnight if that is any hint.I would be thrilled if I had a TSV and it sold out during the midnight show, but I am sure QVC would order enough of a quantity to make it to at least the morning show…..LOL……….glad to hear you and your mother are enjoying the jewelry!

      1. upallnight1

Thank you!!!! I respect your need to keep your lips sealed, lol. And I’m thrilled that the cardigans that were damaged in the flood were reordered. Thank you so much for the good news and the swift reply!

    Good Morning Louis:

Would it be a correct assumption that you have same manufacturer for your entire Linea jewelry line?

    Happy Holidays!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, they make all the jewelry. However, I use different manufacturers for the watches.

    Dear Louis,

Yesterday evening I was preparing my outfit for today, and I opened the Linea box holding my black bead with gold spacers necklace. I reached in and picked it up — and it just “combusted” right then and there. I did nothing but pick it up, and I’d worn it only once. All of a sudden beads were spilling all over the place. Thank heavens this happened in my house because I could find all of them. I prize this necklace. It is not only beautiful but it is also the first Linea item I ever purchased. It sold me on your line. I posted my problem on the QVC Community Blog, and two other posters said the same thing happened to them. The necklace broke on a diagonal, and the string appeared shredded. It was truly odd. There is no explanation for this occurrence. Could the manufacturer who is restringing the latest beads with a problem also string these? Obviously something is strange when a necklace that has been in its original box primarily for a little over a year and worn only once breaks the way mine did. I hesitated to trouble you with one more problem, but there has to be a manufacturing weakness with this necklace, too.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Maria,
Absolutely send the necklace to the manufacturer. If you need me to repeat the address. I would be happy to do so. Please write them a letter explaining what you experienced. They will restring the necklace for you. Remember to include your name, address, tele # and if you wish your e-mail. Send it C/O The Repair Department. In the mean time I will forward your message to my manufacturer.

      1. Maria (Goldie 76)

        Dear Louis,

You are indeed a prince! Thank you so much for making this help available to me and others who had the same problem. The black-bead-with-gold-spacers necklace is just too gorgeous to abandon in a drawer! I cannot tell how much I appreciate this consideration on your part. The address is still available on your site and I just printed it off. Can’t wait to have my beautiful necklace in wearable condition again. (I’m typing this in my Linea fuchsia turtleneck and Byzantine multi-gem 48” necklace. Hurray for Linea!) You’re a class act!

    Dear Louis,

Will the 18″ Love Knot Station necklace in the goldtone ever become available again? ‘Tis all gone now.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I really have no information. I will ask the jewelry rep for QVC if there are any reorders planned.

  59. G

Sorry, I didn’t mean ditch the actual garments…I meant ditch the designs and not have them remade since they were a part of your collection

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Oh….we are repeating almost all of the styles but two, and doing them in spring festival colors.

      1. Carol

        I all about the festival!

Just wondering what pieces we can expect in WK this Spring. I wish we could have the pieces that were destroyed. Is QVC just ditching those?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They were never shipped to QVC. My manufacturer ditched them. They couldn’t even be given away to charity. I will be doing all the styles except two that were planned for Nov/Dec.

Hi Louis – just a quick note to let you know how much I love wearing the black button front coat. It’s become a favorite this winter – right up there with that fantastic little black double breasted peacoat with the gold buttons that I grabbed before it sold out several years ago. That one is in my all time hit parade!

Also – I find myself reaching for those great drawstring pants again and again. They’re just perfect with a little cashmere t-shirt. Any chance they’ll be coming back? I wish I had grabbed extras in both the grey and black!

Looking forward to your December shows. How nice they’re right after Christmas – a little treat after the holiday!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Hi Enjay,
Happy to hear you are enjoying the coat so much and your little pea jacket with the gold buttons, which was one of my all time favorites too. As with the pea jacket, I do not think the draw string pants are coming back either. They initially sold out, the reviews are great but the returns are high…..sometimes I really do have to scratch my head?….but that is the situation with the drawstring pants…..sorry to disappoint you.

      1. blinddogs

I, too, ADORE that black swing pea coat with the gold buttons. Can you sneak a new version past the buyers with a new item number??? The wool blend fabric, the style, the fit, the buttons– all perfection. And of course, I’d make my suggestion for a dark green or spruce green. A gal can dream, no????

  62. DeLois

I am sad to inform you that I bought in pin in black and loved it and the clasp broke off the first time I tried to wear it. So sorry to send it back…….

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

So sorry to hear about this. I wish there was more that I could do to guarantee quality, but it is out of my control

  63. JoAnn

Are you going to bring back the v-neck maxi dress? I LOVE this dress and so sorry I did not get the other colors. I am a NYC girl and it is the absolutely hands down best maxi dress that was out this season. The fit is fabulous and I love it!

    Thanks,
    JoAnn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Hi JoAnn,
I am assuming you are talking about the solid cotton/span jersey sleeveless dress. The answer is unfortunately no. To my surprise, after the wonderful reviews it received, the returns were way above the QVC limit. I guess all of the women on wait list kept them because there are very few left in inventory and I believe none in black…..what can I say…..I thought it was a winner….you never know.

      1. angel

i didnt know how to ask you properly, but i was woundering if you are going to bring back a gold and black scarf dress that looks close to paisley. I cant find the perfect paisley dress for my graduation, and this one is stunning !

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear angel……I am not sure I know which dress you are talking about, so I really can’t answer you. I have many dresses coming but none are paisley.

    2. Kate

Maybe you are referring to the Grecian print dress? I love my blue one!

To the LLL: I received a QVC email with a link to “Vote for Our QStar Award”, and I saw below the limited brand selection (that I had no interest in), there’s a box that you can write in. So I put there, “Write-in vote – Linea by Louis Dell’Olio”.

I doubt that’s enough for a win, but I’d be happy if QVC just ordered more quantity so that I don’t end up on the Wait List quite so often…. and a reorder of the small size turtlenecks would be nice as well.

If you don’t see a brand listed that you think deserves the award, then you might like to vote for Linea as well.

Dear Louis & Jac, I loved seeing your vacation pictures! Thank you for sharing some sun and gorgeous scenery with us! And it was inspiring to see your elegant clothing and accessories in ‘real life’. I hope the lovely cream wrap will be in an upcoming show!
