Hi, Louis, I loved your sneak peeks, and I am really looking forward to your show. I’ve gotten so many compliments on your clothes. One question that I think some of your fans are wondering about. What type of an earring would you suggest with the new colored pearls? I have sort of hesitated in buying them because I am not sure about an earring with them. Thanks as always.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Eileen…………for now I would suggest a metal earring……..for the Ivory -gold, for the Navy- silver or gunmetal, for the purple silver or gunmetal and for the ivory gold. I will have a new button earring coming out in late Aug- Sept in these color metals…..HOWEVER….in Jan. I will have a PEARL STUD EARRING in ALL OF THE PEARL COLORS……even the wine and green which are no longer avail in the pearl necklaces. I would not hesitate to get the necklaces you want because they sell out quickly…..Certainly by Jan. the will be gone. When the women buy what they want for themselves…they start to think about Christmas gifts, and they go like hot cakes.

  2. Andrea

Louis, this is my second time I’m asking this; my first response is in hiding because I didn’t check immediately.

I bought the short boho with the pleats in purple and black. The purple is SO dark I have to hold the two together to figure out which is which. I can only wear jewel tones so pastels and neutrals are out.I do think out of the box; I’ve already worn the purple skirt with red. The Linea ladies told me the new lilac sweater was a “no go.” I am very short and shocking color blocking cuts me in half.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Andrea, There was no question, so I guess you are asking what colors work well with the purple. Besides the red you can wear fuchsia. I also like turquoise and green with purple.

      1. Andrea

Sorry I left out the question. Can I wear the new violet WKT with the purple skirt? I have the mallard blue T. Is it close enough to turquoise to wear with it? Will there be any tops that have violet in them? I started buying your clothes again this year so I don’t have recent possible matches.

Like you, I love ethnic patterns. I’ve been collecting them over the years and have been wearing the violet embroidered top with it.

My favorite is the topper with the Dr. Zhivago embroidery. I have it in lipstick red.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea….welcome back!…..First, if you are talking about the purple short boho with the pleated bottom tier, yes you can wear the violet WK with it. The skirt is paler, but the colors blend nicely. As for the turquoise with the teal, that totally depends on the color turquoise. If it is a blue green turquoise, I would say yes, again it depends on the shade of turquoise.. If you are asking are there any prints coming with violet, the answer is no. There will be new styles in violet WK sweaters.

  3. debby

Just ordered your navy pearls and grey pearls! Could you tell me about the black necklaces in your sneak peak? How are the different than the jet you will be coming out with? Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debby…….the black beads, J270117, that I am now offering, and are in the sneak peek photos are smooth round graduated beads. The Black glass jet beads coming in Nov.-Dec. are faceted and one size beads through out with tiny black spacer beads. They are also 72 inches long, like the pearls. The jets are very glittery and are dressier than the black graduated beads.

    2. debby

Are there any pictures of those needs -there is a picture of late black spaced beads what is that? Thanks!

  4. Barbara C

    Hello Louis,

Today I received J278133, golden brown bead drop earring. Just a little purchase–$19.50–but oh how fabulous! They are very, very special and will add a special touch to many outfits. Thank you.

    Barbara

    1. Kate

I received my new cream pearls and wanted you to know that they are exceptional in every way. Next to my 400.00 strand of Majorica pearls, these are indistinguishable. Glad I got them early, as this color in particular is sure to sell out.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….music to my ears……I thought the color was very realistic too.

      2. enjay

Hijacking this for a minute, to ask Kate or Louis – is the cream color a yellowish cream or a whitish cream? I’m a pearl-aholic, and don’t really need another cream strand, but I’m so tempted by these. Love my grey strand, the quality is amazing for the price.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would actually say they are a whitish cream…..not yellow at all….what do you think Kate?

          1. Kate

Yes, whitish cream with a very lustrous nacre. Not yellowish at all.

            1. Anonymous

              Thanks – I’m in!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara……….I’m happy you liked them. If you have the time, would you kindly leave your review on the QVC Linea jewelry site?…..they do get read.

      1. Barbara C

        Done!

  5. Yvette

Dear Louis, not a question tonight, but a sincere thank you for not forgetting those of us who don’t need an “office” wardrobe. I love your jackets and dressy looks, but the latest sneak peeks will work so well for my day to day life, which has never included an office. I want to look chic and well put together whether I’m tutoring a second grader or attending a committee meeting, and these lovely knits will do the trick. It must be sooo hard to please us all, as Linea Ladies are such a varied group!

  6. nikki

    Hello Louis
I just rec’d the horizontal stripe dress in olive, love it. I loved the color combination and the fit and the quality of the dress. Looks very… expensive. I promptly ordered the blue version. Thanks for such beautiful pieces. I also wanted to know if you will have a cardigan in olive/chocolate or topaz to wear with the olive dress. I know there will be jackets in topaz and cocoa but I wanted to know if there would be a cardigan option coming.
    thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki……..there aren’t any cardigans planned in those colors………..but it’s a good idea.

  7. Pamela in Anchorage

    Happy Day Louis!

Can you describe the shade of ‘Purple’ in the Pearls, please? TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Color is always hard to describe. They are a grayed purple of a med. shade. I know I have seen Majorica pearls in a similar color.

  8. Coryc

I just ordered the navy and purple pearls. It is good to see navy available again and the new purple.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Coryc…..I glad you didn’t hesitate…..and know they will sell out as the quantity isn’t high and then you would have to wait another year……and that’s if the color gets reordered.

  9. Karen

Dear Louis: Will there be a reorder (with the same or new colors) or something similar to the drawstring sweat pants that came in taupe, grey and black? They sold out quickly.

    Karen

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Karen………they are not being reordered and they are actually shying away from drawstrings due to high returns.

      1. enjay

Oh no! I LOVED these and was hoping to buy several more pairs to stockpile. I lived in the grey and black, with a thin cashmere T tucked in and simple little flats.

I’m starting to think that when I love a piece it’s like the kiss of death for a Linea item. Too many of my faves are not reordered. So disappointed 🙁

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear enjay….I have been told draw string pants do not do well in general and are always high returns. The majority of women prefer a plain elastic and don’t want to deal with the string. Other than the string there is really no difference, so that’s the only reason I can come up with.

  10. Patti ("Writer with Falir")

    Dear Louis,

I just ordered the abstract skirt and matching top recently. Will that lovely new kimono jacket(A235322)in the blue color coordinate with the cobalt blue in the abstract prints? If not, what other jacket or sweater would you recommend to wear with the abstract print top and skirt. Also, is the fabric of the kimono jacket similar to that of the Chanelesque button jackets that came in blush and bamboo? I have both colors and absolutely LOVE that fabric. Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Patti

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti……..The blue of the Kimono and the abstract print are in the same family, but the jackets is much brighter. I put them together and think they work, so I would say yes you can wear them together. Otherwisw Black jackets and sweaters are your best bet. The Chanel type jacket fabric and the Kimono jacket are both textured fabric but very different, both are special and both are beautiful. You can certainly wear the black pant with the kimono.

      1. Patti ("Writer with Falir")

I appreciate your quick reply. I am new to your line and absolutely love everything I have purchased. Prior to finding Linea by Louis Dell’Olio, out of desperation, I had started taking a sewing class to try to start making my own clothes because I had become disgusted with the lack of classic styling and the poor quality of the garments out there in the marketplace within my price range. Now, I don’t have to try to make my clothes because you have created fabulous clothing that looks a lot more expensive than it really is. Thank you for your taste, your impeccable styling, and your commitment to quality. (I also like seeing how you coordinate items with other pieces in your collection and with jewelry. I’ve gotten lots of great ideas from you.) You are the best!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti….thank you for your kind words…..anything to keep you from the sewing machine!!!! Setting in sleeves is a horror…LOL

  11. Beryl

can’t wait to order new jersey sneak peaks. Hope I get them before they’re gone

  12. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

    Hi Louis!
Just back from the dentist where I passed your name to several of the employees. They were all ooogling over my feather knit outfit (smoke pants, flamingo top, smoke button front blouse and lots of silver jewelry). Comments included, “how put together!, how comfortable looking!, how slimming!” You may have some new customers! 🙂
I love the new kimono colors and fabric texture. Every time you show those black geometric earrings, I go crazy. Any chance you could design something similar for us? I find I reach for that kind of earring many a time, and there’s nothing in my jewelry box like it. I’ve searched a couple times in local stores and have found nothing…. pretty please?? 🙂

  13. Natalie

Hi, Sorry if I missed this. Will the herringbone/faux linen pieces be coming back? I missed my size last year. Thanks!

  14. njlady

Happy Belated Birthday. Do you know yet whether A233287. The asymmetrical top will be reordered. I was able to get the black to match the dress & they lost it in the mail. I did snatch a white but would love a black one.
    Thanks for all you do.

      1. njlady

Please let me know when you find out.
Also what will the new color be in the leather/knit jacket – a favorite of mine.
        Thanks & fingers crossed

          1. connie turnbull

Do you know when it will be offered? Thank you.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Connie….the leather jacket will be on my Aug show.

  15. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

Will there be any new tops that will match the TEAL seamed blazer (A229475)? Thank you.

    Carol

    1. Chris/Jazzmom

I am very interested in any print patterns coming with teal in the print. Thank you.

  16. Yvette

Any chance that the blue kimono will work with the blue stripe dress? (Can you tell you really have me going with that beautiful blue?)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I looked at the two together and the blue in the dress is much darker than the jacket, though they are the same family of blues. If you don’t mind the difference in brightness and the textures of the fabrics…….I would say yes.

  17. Beryl

when can I order the new kimono ( i have several from the summer Wk line and love them. Also can’t wait for the putty T Shirt. Belated birthday wishes from a fan YFLwith a family of Leos.Y84V

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beryl…..since it is going to be on my July 30th show, I would guess at midnight or maybe sometime before that on the 29th……but I really don’t know.

  18. Beryl

when can I order the new kimono ( i have several from the summer Wk line and love them. Also can’t wait for the putty T Shirt. Belated birthday wishes from a fan with a family of Leos.Y84V

  19. Yvette

Louis, I just feasted my eyes on your latest sneak peek and now I’m wondering how many colors the new t-shirt will come in. Is it just the Caribbean blue and the gray, or are there other colors? I’ll probably want one of each.:)

  20. Becky

Dear Louis, I just ordered your pearls in cream and navy! Can’t wait! Your Feather Knits made my trip through France a joy 🙂 Won’t elaborate where I wore which ones – well, maybe just one 🙂 I wore the blue Russian Abstract Impressionist dress and shrug to Le Procope in Paris and for a stroll down Blvd. St – Germain:-) Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky…….sounds stupendous! LOVE Paris…………I would have to say it is my most favorite city……even more so than NY. We were in NYC yesterday and I I could see was the filth. So glad you liked your FJ pieces!

  21. Kate

LDO, I ordered the new cream pearls (exciting!) but am wondering if there will be other pearls offered this year? Shorter lengths? Different mm pearls? Also, can you clarify if the burgundy and green pearls of last season have been reordered?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate…..I did suggest doing a shorter length for the pearls, but with such limited new items per month, they were dropped. What I did manage to get was the matching pearl studs and bracelets in the colors. The Burgundy and Green were not reordered, but the navy, pink and grey were. There will also be the new Ivory, which you have coming,Purple, Bronze, Olive and Chocolate………….all beautiful.

      1. Kate

Chocolate! Yummy. Looking forward to the earrings. Thanks for the update. Some posted on the Q that they are waiting for the burgundy to come back in stock. I shall post the awful truth.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry about the Burgundy………will suggest again to reorder, but you never know…..the earrings are part of the spring buy, so they are scheduled for Jan.

      2. Kate

You might consider dropping a note to your buyer to correct the item information as it lists old colors that will not be available, but not all the new ones.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….There re two different deliveries and until they are loaded into the system they won’t be posted. I just gave you an advance of what’s coming. The olive, bronze and chocolate are for later in the season. The ivory, grey and purple are for earlier delivery. When they are posted they are in stock.

      3. DeLois

Will the bronze and Olive be coming soon or later?????

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

later in the season…..the colors were split up into two different deliveries.

  22. Cathy Dassler

    Hi Louis,

Happy Birthday again! Today, on your birthday, I found myself running errands for my late father’s estate .. Chili Pepper PC tunic (one of my very favorite pieces and colors), plus vintage Linea black linen pants that went with the ivory linen jacket with black grosgrain ribbon trim; a simply perfect outfit. Got me to thinking ahead to my own Oct. birthday, and the upcoming Ruby pieces, a few of which are already online. When you have time could you tell us a little about how Ruby differs from Chili Pepper PC tunic color? Many thanks!

    1. Sharon Santourian Holman

Hi, I can answer that. The Ruby is a deep true lipstick red, chili pepper has orange spice. The ruby is gorgeous , we hare October as our birthday month. You will love ruby!

    2. connie turnbull

Cathy, Which ruby pieces are already online?

  23. jen

    Hi Louis,
Will you be presenting any long sleeve, scoop or jewel neckline sweaters? I own many WK sweaters in a V neck and I’m hoping to add some different necklines to my Linea collection. Thanks!

  24. Bcm

Happy Birthday fellow LEO!!! Enjoy the theater and dinner on your special day.

  25. Bernadine

Sorry for the double post. Computer acting up!!!

  26. Bernadine

Would you please describe what color “twig” is? Is cool or warm based?? TIA!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s a good question, but I’m not sure how to answer it. I guess If I had to choose I would say warm…..but I don’t find it particularly one way or the other. It’s a medium Taupe and they are hard to describe.I will say it’s very pretty and goes with a lot of colors.

  27. Bernadine

I see we have a new tank and shrug coming in a color called “twig”. Could you describe what color that is? Is it cool or warm based?
    TIA!

  28. 2E

Happy Birthday, Louis! Thinking of you on your Special Day — we so appreciate you and Jac!

  29. marcia29

Hi Louis, A question just popped into my head. Have you ever been in a movie? The reason I ask is because we have seen many designers cameo or have roles in motion pictures and I wondered whether you’ve ever sneaked past us on the big screen! If not, is that something you would like to do?

  30. Jules

Happy Birthday and Best Wishes for another great year. You and Jac are an inspiration to us all! 🙂
    Jules

  31. Seka

Happy Birthday, Louis! And many, many more!

My Mother recently celebrated a major milestone birthday – we had a big party for her with Family & Friends – my Mother and I both wore Linea – and I must say – we looked GREAT!

Enjoy your day – and thank you for all you do for us.

    Seka.

  32. Quendiva

Happy Birthday dear Louis..Happy Birthday to you!

Looking forward to “presents” next week 🙂

  33. Cathy in PA

    Happy Birthday, dear Louis!

No questions, today, Louis. Just popping in to wish you a very happy birthday!

  35. Judy Ann

    Happy Birthday, Louis!
    Enjoy your day!

    Judy Ann

  36. Kate

Someone posted some sneak peeks on the Q forum but couldn’t identify to which line each piece belongs. There’s a side zip, long sleeve animal print jacket that looks vaguely Linea. Is it yours? Your site won’t let me post links, but if you go to the fashion board, look at the post by godfreako called “new” you’ll see it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate…..I took a look, and though it certainly looks like something I would do in a fabric I would use, it is not mine.

      1. Kate

        Holy ripoff!

My striped dress shipped and I can’t wait to wear it this weekend. I went all in and got the cherry.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The cherry is a beautiful combination. On TV the colors looked much brighter than they actually are. On the monitor at the Q they almost vibrated off the screen. They are rich deep colors so I know you will love it. If you choose to use the pockets….be careful when you clip the thread, don’t try and rip them open after you clip a few threads…..you can stretch out the knit if you tough on it. Normal wear is fine.

  37. Mary/Shopsy

Happy Birthday, Louis! Enjoy your day.

    Mary

  38. Goldie76

Happy Birthday, Louis! May you celebrate many, many more.

  39. Diann

Happy Birthday Louis and may there be many more years of good health, happiness and love.

  40. Kate

Happy Birthday (and many, many more to come)!!

    Have a great day.

  41. HAPPY LADY

HAPPY BIRHTDAY LOUIS AND MANY MORE !!!! XOXOXO

  42. Debbie M.

    Happy Birthday, Louis!!

  43. Lynn

    Happy birthday!

  44. Judy

Are we going to be offered any pants soon? How about some talls for your taller ladies? Most of us have many of your beautiful tops but there are never enough pants to go around. Thank you for the 32inch inseams. At least some of us can wear these with flats. We really need some talls for our boots and heels.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Judy…..there will be a new pant each month and a pant with my OLO Ponte Knit Program. Sorry no talls. I try and try to get them to add talls but it’s a big investment to do an additional range in tall sizes. The pants will have 32″ inseams for the most part.

  45. julie

Louis, you said the malachite will be one of the colors for the nubby topper.. will there be any Whisper Knits in malachite? Can you tell us what the colors for the silk/cashmere sweaters will be? What will the styles be???? I’m dying to know!! Thank you so much!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie….there will be WK sweaters in Malachite, including Malachite later in the season. I ask you to be patient with the cashmere info. It’s a lot to go through and I will only have to repeat the whole thing when I post the pics.

  46. Chris/Jazzmom

    Hi Louis,

I ended up ordering the cocoa colored dress and am wondering, will there be a smoke gray solid colored jacket or pants coming for the fall in either ponte knit or the crepe fabric? That is such a lovely gray and it goes with so many articles of clothing I have (I have the FJ big shirt and pants in that gray color).

Also, can you tell us what color TWIG is supposed to be on the WK rib trim tanks?

Thanks again for your designs and I really enjoyed looking at the sketches for the dresses.

    Chris

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris……………….I will be doing a few grays this fall, but none of them are exactly “Smoke”. There will be Heather Ponte knits in Grey, Silk/Cashmere, WK in Grey and a new Gaberdine in a grey I call CAVIAR. Twig is a mid range Taupe color. I saw they have Twig and Taupe listed for the tank……that is INCORRECT!!!!!! The tank and the matching SHRUG will only come in TWIG !!!!!!!!! Do not wait list Taupe….it doesn’t exist in these two styles.

      1. Kate

Color me HAPPY to see so many offerings in grey. Sigh…

      2. enjay

        Thrilled about the greys!

  47. DeLois

Just want to say that we don’t all wear the longer lengths in knits well. Some of us are belting and blousing and still not entirely happy, so keep things coming in both lengths…..Please

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I hear ….ALL……of you and I try to do a variety of lengths. I think there will be something for everyone.

      1. Diamondscribe

I apologize, Louis. It probably was me who got the length issue going. I appreciate all the lengths you make available and know that if Q didn’t have restraints in their shopping formula, you would offer more. I was trying to decide whether to get more navy in the Summer pieces to take advantage of the length of those (but have to deal with short sleeves) or go for navy in the longer sleeve V-neck(albeit a bit too short to tuck in or belt). You take good care of all of us and we appreciate it. I watched the morning show this morning at 5am and never get tired of your styling. I’m looking forward to next week! Deborah

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

No apologies necessary. I understand tall women prefer longer lengths and shorter women prefer them shorter. Sometimes the style determines the length, but there will be styles for all.

  48. LauraL

    Hi Louis,

Enjoyed the show this morning. Had a couple questions on the sneak peak of the whisper knit surplus sweater. What colors is it coming in and is the sleeve length long or 3/4?

    Thanks.

    Laura

    1. Pecan Cookie

I love love love that surplus sweater! Swoon! But since that sneak peek T-Shirt is coming in July, I’ll be OK. No need to send the medics. :o)

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear LauraL……I know your excited to know all the descriptions and colors, but please be patient. I will give all that info out when I post the pics for all the WK pieces, or else I will be repeating myself over and over. I will tell you the surplus sweater has long sleeves.

  49. Judy

Please more longer sweaters! Us taller ladies need the length! We love the A228341 Whisper Knit long sleeve jewel neck tunics are lovely and we love the longer length. Is there a chance we will get any more of these wonderful sweaters in new colors. I will buy them in every color offered. Jewel neck, V neck, scoop neck, it doesn’t matter as long as they are LONGER!!!!

    1. Kate

Another fan of the longer sweaters! I live in A232345 the ribbed tank whereas A224278 the flecked tank was simply too short for my comfort.

Poor LDO, trying to please everyone must be exhausting!

Oh, and by the way, the sneak peeks this morning were a big WOW. That surplice is so super flattering and I’ve been looking for that short sleeve sweater for years. Any hints on what colors to expect?

  50. DeLois

Louis, I do not see Topaz as a color option in your turtleneck…….. QVC says there is no wait list…….. The color Caramel looks similar but I want to match my jacket from last year. Is Topaz coming or is Caramel the option????????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The topaz was not reordered in the TN, but I will have two new styles in Topaz, one of them bringing a long sleeve jewel neck.

      1. Nancy

But will the caramel work with the new striped topaz dress?? Or will it look like we “just missed”?

  51. Diamondscribe

Louis, before I order the new colors in the long-sleeve v-neck, would you mind sharing a bit of information on the lengths of the other styles that will be in the new color palette? I loved your Summer WK program because they had a bit of extra length. I ordered 3 styles in every fiest color! The short-sleeved V in my size 3X is 29 3/4″ versus 27″ on the Winter V-neck. Do you have any (besides the tunic…which I lived in last Winter)that will be a bit longer like the Summer WK? I’m trying to decide whether to get more navy in the Summer pieces to take advantage of the length (but have to deal with short sleeves) or go for navy in the longer sleeve ones…if there are any styles that will be an inch or two longer? Deb

    1. Debbie

Hi Deb and Louis, I agree, the longer lengths work much better on me as well. I also hope we have some longer lengths coming. I would love to have a V-neck tunic like the one we already have. By the way, could you tell us what colors the tunic is coming in and when they will be available. I want one in each color!

      1. Kate C.

Count me in as one who also appreciates just a bit more length in the WK pieces. The summer fiesta pieces are perfect. I missed the V-neck l/s tunic last year, but won’t make that mistake this time around! Any info on longer fall/winter WK styles would be greatly appreciated.
        Thanks, Louis!

  52. Barbara in Virginia

Just a comment, Louis. I just received the “poncho” in Violet/Red after buying the “Cha Cha” high/low ruffled skirt earlier. I LIKE them together, not too much at all!!! I would love to see on one model separates like this worn together to see how they look together. I think that is the only reason I didn’t order both at the same time. Of course that wouldn’t be a look for everyone, but it would be for many.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I agree with you Barbara…………my reasoning was, flawed as it may be, that I showed them at 6am and didn’t want to scare anyone by showing such a bold look so early in the morning. I thought most would understand them better as separates. I’m happy you discovered they look quite wonderful worn together !!

      1. Barbara in Virginia

      Barbara,
I just ordered the black skirt to go with my top! I was debating because they were not shown together, however it’s on clearance and I’ve got plenty black pieces to match if its too much. The print is beautiful!! I can’t believe their on clearance!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Glad you got the skirt. I was just as surprised as you that they put it on clearance. There are things thatbaremthree years old that aren’t on clearance and something brand new goes on clearance….go figure.

  53. Barbara in Virginia

HI, Louis! I see that new colors of the WK V-neck are up for ordering. Sucker for anything red that I am, I am wondering what you will have coming up to work with the new Ruby in the WK. I received my Boysenberry blouse and love that color. Especially as it works so well with a wool challis/tapestry scarf I got at Loden-Plankl in Vienna last September. :-).

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

OCTOBER will be the red MONTH, though I will have a fantastic outerwear topper piece [finger tip length] in Sept in a very similar fabric to the pink and black coat from last fall. It will be in the ruby…..In Oct I will have a RUBY/WOOL WHITE nubby tweed Jacket skirt and shawl. Now I’ve given enough away There will be one more solid jacket in Ruby in Oct and in Nov…….a Ruby sequin skirt……………..I’ve really spilled the beans now!!!

      1. Barbara in Virginia

        I’m in BIG trouble!!! :-).

        1. Sharon Santourian Holman

Louis makes the most gorgeous ruby red! This is really a deep rich red. Glad to see its returning.

      2. Yvette

Louis, can you give me an idea of what kind of red the ruby is? I’ve already ordered v-necks in ruby and in walnut, but I’m just curious.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s a deep lipstick red….not orange not blue a true deep red…..it is a beautiful classic red.

          1. Yvette

Yippee! I had my fingers crossed that it was not a blue red. By choosing a true classic red, you ensure that it will work for ALL of us – the “blue red” ladies and the “orange red” ladies like me.

      3. Cathy in PA

Oh, I’m going to have a fun birthday month!!!

  54. Anonymous

    All,
The Seed Bead necklaces and the Medallion Print Scarf Top are available to order now. I can’t wait until to order the Stripe Ponte Knit dress!

  55. nanc

Hello Louis, Thank you for the sneak peeks, I’m looking forward to your Fall Collection. Will the tweed jacket be in the July show. Also, do you have any suggestions on which color(s) in WK would work with the new tweeds? Thank you,

  56. liz

Hi Louis, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed you sketches,I printed it out and plan to keep it with the dresses(I am ordering 2) for inspiration.
Perhaps you could show us some of the ones from previous items.(For those lulls in between sneak peaks lol)

    1. Karen in WA

Yes, good idea, I have printed some sneek peeks and taped them to the inside of my closet. The sketches would be better.

  57. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

One of my all time favorite Linea jackets is A229475, the blazer with seaming and button detail that came in violet, topaz, and teal. I see that the whisper knit turtleneck has been reordered in teal. Will we be getting any other whisper knit tops in teal that will match the teal jacket?

Thank you! Looking forward to the shows.

    Carol

  58. connie turnbull

Hello Louis (or should I say “MY PERSONAL STYLIST”) (: Thank you for the
wonderful styles and well made garments.
I’d like to know if we will be able to order the topaz suede jacket on Monday
during the sneak preview or do we have to wait until August?
Also thanks for letting us share your vacation I only wish that I had been
    there. Great pics.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Connie…………..the sneak peeks of things to come such as the suede jacket will not be avail until my Aug 26th shows. I decided to show the topaz jacket early so everyone will get an idea of how the dress can work into your wardrobes as the weather changes. Since it has been in the high 90s for the last week we can only dream.

  59. Sharon

Hello Louis, I was just looking at your new dresses and that suede jacket and look perfect together. My question is if you are a plus size lady who carries her weight around the middle section could wear this dress and not look like a barrel. Also what colors would the new suede jacket come in. The hard part with these dresses because I love both the blue and the topaz and will they go with the jackets from last season?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon I would recommend the blue/black/gray combo, because I am sure you have many black jackets and cardigans to wear over it. As for it being flattering or not that’s a hard one to call, because I don’t know exactly what you look like. I did see the dress on our 1x model and I did like it on her, but her weight is evenly distributed. That is why I recommend the blue….it is more subtle than the cocoa and you can always wear something black to cut the horizontal stripe.

We are looking forward to the July appearances (22nd and 31st). Do I have it right? The tneck sweaters are in with the new colors. Does the violet tneck match the houndstooth pieces from last fall? Also what are new tweed colors? That’s the jacket I don’t want to miss. Maybe thinking about fall will help us cope with this heat. Stay cool everyone.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Morning nyk……..the dates are the 22nd, and I am the first, second and third sell, so I am at the beginning of the show, and then I will be back on the …………….30th……..at 2am………….all new……………………..The violet will go with the hounds tooth check from last fall. When all of the WK sweaters got destroyed due to Super Storm Sandy…..I decided to repeat many of the colors….so Violet, Fuchsia and Topaz are three of the colors. It really is impossible to describe the colors of the tweeds because they all have multi colors, but they are natural colors not bright in any way. One has Boysenberry and Walnut….the other Blue and Grey and the third neutral colors….Tans, Grey and Black………………….you will just have to wait and see.

      1. designista

On the 22nd, is that the morning show or PM Style?

      2. Sherry

What tweed jacket are we talking bout, please?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry…..it’s a new jacket and a new fabric coming in Sept.

          1. Sherry

thank you so much, will be waiting for it.

  61. Patti ("Writer with Falir")

    Dear Louis,

Will you have any pleated-type pants in your new collection like the (A233191) Feather Jersey pull-on pant with front draped pleats (QVC currently has in stock in Walnut, Olive, and Cherry)? If so, what in what new colors will be featured? They are such a classic pant. Thank you for any help you can provide.

    All the best,
    Patti

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti………..I do not have any pants like those coming, but the new “Faux Washed Silk” that will be on my July 30th show has a single pleat and they are very easy with the elastic partial waist and the trouser pockets. It will be interesting to see if the FJ pants get reordered. I doubt the ones in the Cherry, olive and walnut get reordered, as the selling has been slow. Those that got them love them, but many were even afraid to try. The other style did much better, so it will be interesting to see the returns.

      1. muzzimom (sandi)

Dear Louis……..I may be wrong, but I honestly think the difference of how the two different FJ pants sold doesn’t have to do with style or color, but due to the fact that one group was offered in petite and one was not. I know for me, I didn’t order the original group for that reason. I hope the “Faux Washed Silk” pants will be offered in petites as well!

        1. Chris/Jazzmom

I ordered the regular length pants in the berry, walnut & olive knowing I would have to have them shortened. I also had the FJ Petite pants also altered by an inch– they were too long on me. I love both versions.

        2. Goldie76

That is my story, too, and I have not been a pant-buyer with QVC. However, when I fell in love with the large FJ shirt in Smoke, I thought I’d give the matching petite pair a try. The pant is so comfortable to wear and flatters me, to boot.

  62. Deborah

The new colors you are bringing us in turtlenecks sound luscious! However, I have over a dozen Linea turtlenecks in whisper knit and the cashmere blend, and I don’t need or want anymore. Even living at over 6500 feet altitude, I don’t wear them as much as I thought I would. Like a lot of other Linea ladies, I live in your long sleeve, whisper knit, V-necks. Thank you so much for giving us this beloved item!

I literally wore out the olive, burgundy and black ones I bought when they were first offered, and snapped up duplicates when I could. I wear them with all my Linea pants offerings: the drawstring pants, the wk pants, jeans, crepe trousers, cargo crops, etc. I would love it if they came in as many colors as the turtlenecks did! Ditto for the fabulous whisper neck tunic you offered last fall. LOVE!! Louis, you are THE BEST!

Are both styles coming back this fall? If so, what colors will be offered? They are the backbone of my wardrobe! 🙂 If they are not returning, I’ll TRY to buy something similar when the fall clothes hit the store in a few weeks, though I know it will be a far cry from Linea. Thanks in advance!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Deborah…..the v-neck sweater is returning and the ballet neck tunic is returning plus more new styles in new colors, such as MALACHITE, RUBY, LAPIS, FUCHSIA, VIOLET etc etc. Of course the T-neck is in a greater assortment because it’s been offered for many years and continues to see, so not ne odf the other sweaters will come in as many colors, but each style will be offered in four….. to five new colors……………..that’s a lot of sweaters.

      1. Breee

        Dear Louis,
That is great news to hear. The V-neck WK sweater is my favorite. It is comfortable and looks great for everyday life. I love the list of new colors especially malachite, ruby, and lapis. I am looking forward to your sneak peeks. Thank you for doing sneak peeks for us.

        Breee

      2. CJ

Woo hoo! Another v-neck lover here! Malachite is MINE!!!

        1. Chris/Jazzmom

I like the V necks too!! Malachite is probably a green color right?

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Malachite is a green similar to emerald, but as I said not every style will be in every color the way the Fiesta W Knits were. The v-neck will come in the old colors plus navy, walnut and ruby.

            1. enjay

And I’ll be buying every one of those new colors. Love those v-necks!

            2. Anonymous

ME TOO! I was one of those who grabbed every color of the v-neck and an extra in black.

      3. Yvette

Woo hoo, you have made my day, Louis! I love my Linea T-necks, but in my semi-tropical climate (New Orleans) there are many more days when the v-neck or ballet neck is more comfortable than a turtleneck. I’ll take one of each in the new colors, please. And speaking of semi-tropical, I’ve been happily wearing my WK v-neck tanks in the hot, humid summer weather. Your WKs BREATHE, so I stay quite comfortable in the heat, and the v-neck cardigans keep me from getting chilled indoors in the sometimes frigid air conditioning. I bit the bullet and bought all colors in the tanks and v-neck cardis, and I’m SO glad that I did. I have to confess that I also stocked up on some of the v-neck short sleeves and the open front cardigans as well. I just love those tropical colors, and I love me some whisperknit!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yvette , I am so happy you are enjoying your Fiesta color WK SWEATERS. The colors are great and I probably won’t be doing new ones in these colors for a while.

      4. Deborah

LOL, that is, indeed, a lot of sweaters! Thank you so much for the quick reply, Louis, and thank you for the wonderful news! I can’t wait to see the new Ruby!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The tweed jackets are on the Sept show. It would be too early to show tweeds before then……….Actually it will be the silk/cashmere sweaters and some of the WK that work to the tweeds.

  63. Beryl

I am still wait listed for the petit fj pants in smoke. Do you think I might be
lucky enough to get them? FJ is such a great fabric.
    Beryl

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beryl……you never know……things I would never expect to see again sometimes have a miraculous way of showing up.

  64. Pamela in Anchorage

    Good evening! Louis…….

The Q has yet to post your show times online for July 22nd – Please enlighten as I will be sleeping on the West Coast.

Finally figured out how to program the new cable box!

    TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Morning Pamela……………the Q hasn’t posted them because they are not one hour shows……they never post appearances. I will be on the Morning Show with Pat and Jane, and then again that evening on PM Style…..both on the 22nd. My one hour show will be on July 30th at 2am. There will be lots of new on that show.
