The KATE SHIRT, A214116, has been reordered for the FOURTH STRAIGHT YEAR! The new color is…………….GREY…………..If you are a new Linea Lady and are not familiar with this shirt….it is a classic MENS SHIRT tailored for a woman. Actually, I sent one of my own shirts to the factory so they could copy all of the details exactly…..down to the placket and button on the sleeve as well as the removable COLLAR STAYS…..When was the last time you have ever seen collar stays in a woman’s shirt???? …………The fabric is a cotton/span blend, and it is woven in a supper fine twill. I had this fabric made to my specifications, so it is the perfect weight and is NOT SEE THROUGH or chintzy like so many women’s shirts out there today…..even the very costly ones can be see through. In all honesty this is not a crease free fabric, and I know some women refuse to buy anything that may need a touch up with the iron, but did you ever think about what treatment is given to no iron cotton shirts? Trust me they aren’t miracle fibers…..it’s not a new strain of cotton. This shirt is a pure cotton….with a little spandex for stretch and comfort. The KATE SHIRT, A214116, returns in the all important……………..WHITE…………………For those new to the shirt……this is not an optic white…..I call it a soft white. If you are a white shirt lover and wearer….they don’t get much better than this at this great price………….if you can even find a decent white shirt at this price. As I said above…………this is the fourth year reordering this shirt and the price still remains the same….that in itself is a miracle…when everything around continues going up in price. There are many LL [Linea Ladies], who own multiples of this shirt in white. Jac is one of those women. She prefers to send hers to the laundry with my dress shirts…LOL……Besides the WHITE and GREY the KATE shirt will still be offered in….the  BLUE…….the PALE OLIVE…..and the SEA GREEN…………………………enjoy……………………..much Love………………….Louis

The LINEA PONTE ZIP FRONT JACKET, A251580 will be available during one of  my Jan 15 th shows. The shows are scheduled at 2am, 5pm and 11pm. The fabric is my “LINEA PONTE”, [ the same fabric as all of the OLO pieces as well as the three newest pieces presented in Dec…..the HOODED ZIP FRONT SWING JACKET, the MAXI SKIRT, and the LEGGING……and many other Ponte Linea pieces you have…like the drawstring skirt and the jacket that went with it [which is also a reorder piece]…….This jacket is approx. 24 inches long for the XS. The body is fully lined, but the long sleeves are not, which provides greater comfort…..and makes it much easier to shorten for those who need to……of course, unlined, you can easily just push them up for a more relaxed attitude …if you like………The jacket has snap out shoulder pads for those who like an extra bit of lift. There are body sculpting seams in the front and back which gives the jacket an easy shaping. There are flaps with working snaps, but the pockets are actually hidden in the seams of the jacket below the flaps…..The flaps are slanted downward creating the illusion of a V which is very flattering and slimming!………..This jacket is what I call “soft suiting”….it has the ease and comfort of a cardigan….it is not an overly structured jacket………The colors above are GREY….which is HEATHERED like all of my other GREYS!!!!……and NAVY. Both the NAVY and the GREY should coordinate with the other ponte piece you may already own in these colors……HOWEVER……….when fabrics are reproduced from season to season, month to month, year to year….there is always the possibility that there can be a variance…..no one, even high end designer clothes , can guarantee colors from season to season matching……I think, in general, we do a pretty good job………..The GREY has GUNMETAL snaps and zipper while the NAVY has SILVER. I have accessorized the GREY jacket with my LOVE KNOT NECKLACES, J270122, but only the J270121, the 18 inch is avail in he gunmetal , silver or gold……However, the bead torsade featured on the navy jacket in SILVER, J284035. IS AVAILABLE….both in the SILVER and the GOLD, but there are only one or two pieces of each, so this would be the perfect time to pick them up if you have been wanting them……They won’t last for long.

You will have two bottoms to chose from to coordinate, mix or match, with the jacket……………The first is  A251581, the SLIM PULL-ON PANT. This pull-on pant is very similar to the slim ponte pant that sold out last season. The fit is almost exactly the same…so….what ever size worked for you in that pant will definitely work for you in this pant. This pant has the same type of wider contour waist band….a la  yoga pants…which is very comfortable. There is elastic in the band, but it is not your traditional elastic strap that you all know……this is an elastic mesh, “SUPER MESH”, that enables us to keep the band nice and flat without all of the shirring. It is also what was used in last seasons slim pant,  the maxi skirt and the legging that have ALL received terrific reviews. The rise on this new pant is slightly longer by 3/4 of an inch in the front. The inseam is approx. 31 inches according to the way I measured……There will be no petites or talls avail. in this style……sorry…..not my call………but they are definitely worth shortening if need be.

The second bottom option is the A231138….the reorder LINEA PONTE skirt that went with last January’s TSV PEPLUM jacket………..Can you believe  a year has gone by! ….The skirt will be avail. in the Grey to match the grey jacket….plus both HOODED PONTE jackets in grey…..the blazer and the swing tunic…..plus all the other grey ponte tops and tunics……………………….Navy to match the jacket and Black to mix and match with everything will also be avail!

I think this is a good way to start the transition into spring because you can definitely wear these pieces now……..and when Spring finally arrives…..I know…..it’s freezing here too!….but I also I know you will be happy to shed the layers and wear the suit when the daffodils show there beautiful heads…………………scroll down…………………………………………………….enjoy…………….much Love…………………………..Louis

The LINEA PONTE ZIP FRONT JACKET…..A251580………will also be avail in………….RED………………a CLEAR, BRIGHTER, TRUE RED compared to the RUBY……As i said, this is a TRUE RED, not orange or blue….a pigment CADMIUM RED. I think this is a red everyone can wear….even REDHEADS!  The snaps and the zipper on this red jacket are………..GOLD!……….Above I have it shown two ways……with JEANS, and with the matching LINEA PONTE new SLIM PANT, A251581 in the RED…….I think it make a magnificent suit in the red…..don’t be afraid…..I have seen many editorials and high end catalogs featuring RED and Lapis suits for spring 2014…….There will also be THREE NEW WHISPER KNIT SWEATERS in the same RED to coordinate. Above is the A251584, MOCK NECK with ELBOW length sleeves…..If you loved the old WK short sleeve mock neck ……you will love this even more. This sweater has RIBBED sleeves and a WAIST WHITTLING RIBBED band which I think gives it a more youthful appearance. This will also be avail. sometime in Jan….but this will be an OLO item. It will be avail. in the RED, NAVY, IVORY, and SUNBURST YELLOW [the same yellow as last years denim jacket]……………..I have also accessorized the jacket with the J284039, double sided cross in the GOLD/RED/PURPLE combination…….There are one or two avail, but I am sure when the Linea Ladies read this they won’t be avail. for long!……………enjoy………………much Love………………..Louis

The BLACK FLOAT DRESS, A239314, will be featured on the 15th of Jan.. I have three, one hour shows…..2am…..5pm….11pm. The dress is made in a 96% RAYON/4% SPAN  knit blend………The dress is easy care, machine washable………….perfect for travel. The dress is 39 inches long for the xs, and it has a RAGLAN LONG SLEEVE.  It has a soft stand collar and a back invisible zip to make it easy to get on and off. At the front neckline, between the raglan seams, there are eight pleats which adds ease for the bust and body of the dress, and it gently flares out at the hem. The dress does come with a self fabric tie belt which is 1 3/8 th inches wide., but it looks good unbelted too. There are thread loops at each side seam so they can easily be removed if they do not line up to your waist line, or you just feel you don’t want them. You can always add your own belt to make your own statement and change things up………This is an ALL OCCASION DRESS…..it can be dressed up with the right accessories……in the spring add a black patent leather  peek toe pump etc. In the photos above I have the 72 inch faceted jet beads in the BLACK and the GREY, J284043. The other multi bead necklace is from my collection. The BLACK JET bead necklace is already sold out. If you are interested in the other colors…..the GREY…..the BRONZE……the CLEAR………..I wouldn’t wait to long. The dress looks great with black tights or fancy hose, black pumps, shoe boots or boots.
