………………It’s September! Where did the summer go??? I know we still have a few more days of Indian Summer left, but let’s face it…..October is right around the corner, and this morning…here in CT. there is definitely a chill in the air that forebodes what is to come……..That said….I thought on this Labor Day weekend I would take the opportunity to recap some of the new fall items that have been presented…..or items that have already been posted before my Sept 29th two hour [2pm to 4pm] show with Mary Beth Roe………………The FAUX SUEDE ANORAK, A279526, is one of my favorites……………….This particular faux suede is very soft and buttery, and has a beautiful drape. Some have likened it to velvet, and yes both “fabrics” have a pile and a two way nap, but side by side IMHO they are very different. The OLIVE is a deep rich color and does not have too much yellow so it is an easier color to wear. If you are looking for coordinates I would suggest the following………..A265615, the Olive SLIM PANT, but sizes are limited, and the even though the pant has been reordered the Olive is not coming back……….A260034, the Olive LEGGING……..paired with boots or a shoe boot, and you are ready to go……..add my OLIVE WHISPER KNIT SHAW, A259111, and you can wear this into Dec. and maybe beyond….BTW, OLIVE is the only color left and very limited!…..For added protection during the winter months the Linea Body OLIVE TIGHT, A260016, will give you that added layer with skirts and even under pants. The Olive Anorak, a Black TN and WK skirt….the olive tights and a black suede shoe boot, the olive or black WK shawl and you will look like you stepped out of the new Fall catalogs…………..For those of you who have endlessly looked for just the right OLIVE TANK…..look no more………..A229468, the RAYON/SPAN top is still avail. I think this is a much overlooked item, and it will certainly fill that gap in your wardrobes…..Out of 15 reviews….12 are FIVE STAR……….give it a look. This is an item you can wear all year……….With the GOLD RIBBON necklace I like the Gold Demi Hoop J270391, or the Gold Stud which is part of  the FOUR PACK, J317109, now on sale at a terrific price………..Olive is a terrific BASE color to mix with lots of accents………yellow, orange, red, purple, lavender, royal blue, Lapis, turquoise, lime, charteeuse etc…..I could go on forever……Shawls and colorful scarves will change your look every time you wear your jacket……you just have to play!…………………….enjoy…………..much Love………………………..Louis

…………………………..EGGPLANT…..Bordeaux…..Wine……..Port….are all good names for the color of this FAUX SUEDE JACKET. It is a Renaissance color…..a regal color, and can be worn by most women. I really can’t think of a complexion or hair color the Eggplant wouldn’t look good on……..It’s another color that mixes well with all sorts of accent colors……only your imagination will limit the possibilities…..so be free and consider everything!…………………enjoy…………..much Love……………….Louis

……………………..STEEL BLUE is a very cool color. It is basically Steel Grey with cool Blue undertones. If you put it next to a true grey you will immediately see the difference. Play the color up with other cool colors such as the LAPIS BLUE WK TN above, or be adventurous and try some unexpected colors like Chartreuse or Hot Pink…….To enhance the cool colors I went with the Silver Ribbon necklace, J331643, and Silver Twirl earring, J284033…………………….enjoy……………much Love…………………..Louis

…………………………Of all the colors DARK UMBER is IMO the most classic………It is definitely in the camel family….Deep Molasses, Caramel, Honey are all suitable names that come to mind when I look at this jacket.  Mixed with HEATHER CHARCOAL GRAY is a true Thoroughbred Look……………..enjoy the wonderful Fall weather to come…..It could be my FAVORITE season of the year……it’s a toss up with Spring……………………….much Love……………. ……………………………..The SWING WK ENR CARDIGAN, A267864, is back, and I know many of you didn’t wait a second to order it in the new……SCARLET RED!…..along with the new SCARLET RED WK TN, A72448…….and what a gorgeous red it is……..It has to be a very special color to  be named SCARLET!……….The simplest way to wear it is over black, but the choices of black bottoms are endless…..leggings, slim pants, wide leg pants like the CREPE GAUZE, the boot cut Super Ponte pant above, A268216,  and the new GAUCHO pant for a very modern of the moment look. Skirts….you bet….from the WK MILANO STITCH pencil skirt, A273880 to a slim mid calf or maxi…….My novelty Black and White tweed skirt, A268135, will look fabulous with Scarlet Red! Don’t think for one second that black is your only choice…..Charcoal Grey, Dk Brown, Hunter Green and Olive etc….all look great with red……Navy for winter and spring along with Ivory make this a seasonless color……..Metal color of your choice…..SILVER above, Gold or Gun Metal…..It’s September so it’s never to early to start thinking about the Holidays coming up…….REMEMBER…..there will be a WK SKIRT in Scarlet Red later in the season……What a Holiday look that will be!………………………….enjoy……………..much Love……………….Louis
