…………………….Animal prints are as classic as a hounds tooth check pattern…..It isn’t a case whether they are “in” or “out”…..they are always in. There are times when they are more popular than others, but that goes for anything….everything has its’ cycles…..I love BABY CHEETAH prints because they blend with many other patterns……like the Bisque tweed above…..The CHEETAH PRINT blouse & scarf, A385144, is made in a stretch satin charmuse. It has a beautiful sheen, and has a wonderful expensive silk satin feel…..The shirt has a stand collar, a button front, and a narrow band cuff. It has a back yoke with shirring and side slits. The shirt is sized from 2 to 28…..There are many things you can do with the OBLONG SCARF. It is long enough to , starting in the front, wrap around the back to the front again and tie as an ascot or a bow…….The photos at the upper and lower left, second in, is a little trick I have done with the scarf. It is just tied at the front, and then the long ends are draped over the shoulders. Then I put the Black Jet Glitterati necklace over it…..,The I pull the scarf forward creating loops that look like a bow. The weight of the necklace keeps it in place….As you can see the Bisque print looks great with anything in Bisque or Black, But play layering it under other color jackets and sweaters…..like Scarlet Red. ……………………I know so many of you have been waiting patiently to see the new SILVER EMBROIDERED TULLE SKIRT, A351463, for the reg, and A351464, for the petite. …………………………The extremely popular LATTE emb. skirt is coming back too…..Be aware there were many wait list orders to fill so that will leave fewer skirts for sale. As you can see above the BISQUE is a perfect compliment to the Latte and Black skirt. The WK sleeveless TN, Tank and Cardigan all look perfect. If you want a more structured piece, the Bisque [or Black] Riding Jacket, A384508, is perfect too.  Once again the GLITTERATI in the BLACK JET and TAN are the must have accessories. I could have played with other things but these are so PERFECT, nothing else looked as good IMHO!…Why try to improve what is already perfect!……..To the extreme right….the NEW TWEED BISQUE/GREY JACKET, A384499…..The combination is very unexpected. If you love the look of Chanel mixing tweeds with embroideries and other patterns this is for you. I even piled on more Glitterati necklaces to really create that Chanel look…………………………….

……………………..Can anyone forget that faithful morning? I remember it as clear as a bell…..as clear and as beautiful as that Sept. morning was……..It was an exception start to the day. The sky was clear, the air was cool and crisp, and a beautiful fall day was about to begin……and then the world stopped…….I was in the kitchen squeezing fresh orange. I put the girls outside and turned on the morning news. Jac was upstairs helping her mother to get dressed and ready for the day…….Then it came across the screen…..a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center…..At first it was thought it was a private small jet and a terrible accident had occurred, but quickly it was realized that this was a commercial jet from Boston on its’ way to LA…….What was it doing in NYC!!!???  I ran upstairs and had Jac put on her mother’s TV, and I said you’re not going to believe what’s happening…..Then the second plane hit the tower, and it became very clear this was no accident. We went down to the kitchen and watched the horrors of the day unfold….Then two other planes crashed, one into the Pentagon and the other in a field…….Nothing from that day to this will ever be the same……A generation has grown, and I find it astounding that many don’t know what happened that day……..It is all of our responsibilities to make sure this is taught in the schools, because the threat is alive and just as strong as that day…..when the world stopped……I remember the story of Isaias Rivera and his co-worker, who worked for CBS, and were on the top of the tower working on cables. They both died that day with all of their brothers and sisters……………they will never be forgotten……….God bless to all those who perished, and to all of the families.
