………………..It’s a perfect day for a parade!!! Today everyone is a little IRISH!!!!

………….Back to the VILLA LILY……………My bedroom for most of my stays at the villa was located at the far end of the terrace….[the photo at the lower left shows the complete main house….my room is at the extreme right on the first floor, photo at upper left]…….In the photo at the upper left the last set of French doors at the right was my room. Next door to the left was a beautiful completely tiled bathroom. I always stayed here in the fall because it was heated…or in the summer when Jac wasn’t with me…..It was small but cozy. At night I kept the French doors open for a delightful breeze……Sometimes a little lizard would come in to visit me!……..The photos of the bathroom at the right was actually on the lower pool level located right under the main terrace. There was also a full kitchen and bedroom there. They used the kitchen in the summer when they gave parties. It was very convenient on the same level as the pool. The bathroom had the most amazing sunken tub/shower with a huge arched glass window overlooking the sea and Capri. It was big enough for two…..If you had vertigo it could be a problem as it was on the edge of the cliff looking straight down to the rocky bottom and the sea. I loved taking showers here in the summer. It was like being at the most magnificent spa!…..and it was!!!

…………….”Truth is Truth” or at least it used to be……..One has to ask….”What spell are they under?” When I first read this quote I was angry that the GOP does nothing about this disgrace of a man…….but then I just became SAD…….sad that this is the state of affairs in this country……..That both parties will do anything to keep their party in power regardless of the effect on the country…….When will COUNTRY COME FIRST!……or is that an ideal of the past?

………………………..What can I say…….I’m an Oscar JUNKIE!!! I haven’t missed one Oscar presentation since I can remember. When I traveled in Europe and the Oscars were on I’d stay up into the wee hours of the morning just to watch the Oscars…..I can remember sitting in my room in Florence, Italy watching the Oscars and going to work a few hours later bleary eyed!…….As I said I’m as Oscar Junkie! Some years I am very disappointed in what the women are wearing, but last night didn’t disappoint……….Out of all the beautiful dresses IMHO the red gown worn by Cara Delevingne designed by Elie Saab, for me was incredible. I thought she looked fabulous from the top of her to the tip of her toe. When she walked out onto the stage my jaw dropped…that RED was perfection!!! Her makeup and hair was impeccable, and the jewelry was spot on……She was dazzling! ……..As for the men, Harry Shum Jr. looked wonderful as he stepped out of the box with his avante guard tuxedo. I loved the asymmetric and piped lapels, and the obi sash was a wonderful acknowledgement to his heritage…………..Congratulations to all the winners!.

……………………..This was my first HEAD SHOT for publicity, after Donna Karan left the company……1983-84. I was about 34 years old……..I have to say my 30s were the best “single” years of my life!
