………………For the “HOLIDAY KICK OFF” at QVC……….a new Linea earring has just been posted, and it’s a BEAUTY!…….It’s a combination of STERLING SILVER, and STERLING SILVER with 18 KARAT GOLD plate…..It’s also a combination of a SMOOTH HIGH POLISHED GOLD RING, and a STERLING SILVER “ROPE” RING…….and it’s on FIVE EZ PAYS…..The combination of the two different rings, and the combination of two metal colors makes it SUPER SPECIAL……Yes, it’s that time of year when Holiday shopping is becoming something to take seriously!….Before you know it the Holidays will be here!

…………..Another picture I just came across….They are all from Christmas cards….from……The Connell Family…..Anna and Scott……….They have three beautiful boys!….and no wonder….look at the parents!……Anna and Scott were both very successful models in the 80s, and I worked with Anna for years….She and Jac were often paired on the runways together….two statuesque blonds!……The photos in the center were taken many many moons ago of Ian, Aidan and Evan when they were young boys….I have fond memories of swimming in the pool at “SHUTTERS” with the boys…..as the girls gabbed and gabbed, and caught up for lost time….I don’t know who had more fun….the boys or me!……The photos at the right are more recent. They have all grown up, and all with girlfriends!!!……..They have all become handsome young men….NO SURPRISE!…If you wonder if they have PROUD PARENTS……you bet they do!…..I look forward to the next Christmas card!………..much LOVE to the family!

…………..GUESS WHO?….I just came across this picture stashed away in a draw for many years……Their mom will know immediately who they are for sure!….Jac and I visited with their mommy many many years ago in the Hamptons when they were wee little ones……Their mommy was a very successful beautiful model in the 80s, and she worked for me for many many years….She posts often on Facebook…….The children are all grown up now, and are just as beautiful now as they were as children………They have a very PROUD MAMMA!

………………….WHO…..I repeat….WHO…..ever said you have to speak Spanish to enjoy BAD BUNNY’S music?????? They obviously haven’t listened to any…..Edith Piaf…..or……Andrea Bocelli…or any other singer who sings in a language not their own. I’m sure they never listened to ANY OPERA!!!!!!!….When someone is good….they are GOOD period!…..and Bad Bunny is good!…..I don’t know why I should be astonished at the hatred and racism that keeps being spewed….They are all showing their TRUE COLOR…….WHITE SUPREMISTS!…….and for those uneducated out there…..Puerto Rico is part of The United States…..it’s NOT A FOREIGN COUNTRY!……For me…..I’m not a Spanish speaking person….so what!….I can still appreciate his music………I’m on TEAM BAD BUNNY, and can’t wait to see his half time show!

…………………Last evening I was invited, along with family and friends, to see George in a “Body Building” competition……I have known George for a little over 21 YEARS!!!…..The story of our meeting is this…..21 years ago my darling Jac took me for a “birthday” ride. I had no idea where we were going, but I was hoping for something FUN……When we pulled into the parking lot of a gym….I thought….”what is this!”….When we went inside I was introduced to “GEORGE” a very young 21 year old with a full head of hair and very blue eyes…..Jac said “Lou, this is George…He is your new trainer…..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”…..To say I was surprised would be an understatement….NOW, I HAD to go to the gym whether I wanted to or not….George was already paid for me to train with him for 6 months!!…..Well jump ahead 21 years. George has been my trainer all this time, and he is now 42 years old! He is bald now, was married and divorced has a son, and still has those sparking blur eyes….I am the same age as his dad, who passed away over 9 years ago……My goal in working out with George was not to build a big muscular body, but to keep healthy, and to keep toned and as I grew older to have good balance and a strong body…..I think for the most part I have done that. Of course losing the 85 pounds and counting has helped a lot!……Now for the competition…..All of the photos on the left are of George, and his main competition in his weight and age class……I thought George had the best music, best poses, and all around BEST BODY, but he came in second out of five men….We all thought George was better!…..The photos to the right are of men in different weight classes and ages. They had a group of men over 65 years old! WOW…If I had to use one word to describe these men it would be…..DEDICATION!……Watching George, these past six months getting his body ready to compete [he had a great body to begin with, but a competition body is a whole different level], takes a lot of physical and MENTAL determination…..The diet alone would destroy me!….One thing that struck me was after each competition ALL of the men congratulated each other, whether they won or lost. I thought the comradery was wonderful. They each know all  too well what it takes to get on that stage and compete. It was admirable……Congratulations to GEORGE!…….After the show George had plans with his family to go for a New Haven PIZZA! Supposedly the best in Connecticut…..He was dying for it!!!
