……………………………………Many of you may have seen me on FEW this past Friday morning with two of my favorite people, Jayne and Pat, when I was selling the A239322, Whisper Knit Scarf……It is now on CLEARANCE for the amazing price of $19.98, and that includes the gift box, the tissue and the elastic silver cord!….Over 1100 were sold, and the Brick Red is now on wait list, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a return!…I can personally vouch for this scarf as I own them in every color. As soon as the weather gets cool enough to wear a scarf….out them come from storage. I have never worn a more comfortable scarf, and I have a variety of winter scarves….from cashmere and cashmere blended with silk or wool, all wool, and wool blends, boucle and even acrylics which tend to pill and get one seasons wear….until they look ready for the garbage……………These scarves are light in weight, but still substantial. What I love mostly, besides the comfort, is that you can wear them many ways without ever feeling that they are too bulky and that they are wearing you. I hate scarves that make me feel I can’t turn my head from right to left…………..These make great gifts for any and everyone……from your fathers, husbands, brothers and sons, yes great for the guys, to your mothers, sisters and daughters and best friends. At this price they also make great gifts to those special people in the service industry like the women and men who cut and color your hair…..the special teachers who take care of your children…..an aid or nurse who takes special care of your parents….you know who they are. Everyone knows a special someone that they want to show their appreciation to for taking care of those we love…including ourselves!… This makes a very impressive gift, and it is worth so much more then the $19.98 it is now priced at. I know if it were given to me I’d be really happy. As a matter of fact I ordered four more black for myself, because I don’t want to be with out, and when they are sold out….they are gone. I also ordered additional ones in different colors as back ups. I have already planned to give them as presents to my dog nannies…..a mother and son team who take care of my little precious ones when Jac and I are away. People like that, who you can trust implicitly are not easy to find, and a little extra present like this WK scarf will be much appreciated…….It has happened when a friend has said to me, “Louis that’s a great scarf”, and I have just taken it off and given it to them……so I definitely need back ups…..LOL………………………………..Also, remember that today EVERYTHING is on FOUR EZ PAYS!!!…………………………enjoy…………………………..Happy Holidays………..much Love………………Louis

I own a black and a nutmeg scarf. I use the nutmeg when I wear the zip front sweater in nutmeg. My black scarf goes with everything I own from you in whisper knit black. These scarves are great for warmth as well as fashion. Today I wore the nutmeg combination with my Tobacco/black zebra coat. It was only slightly chilly in Chicago so the scarf added the extra warmth.
Dear Joanne…….we have been having exceptionally mild weather here in NY too, but just cool enough for my WK scarf. The nutmeg color is a wonderful accent so don’t just save it to wear with your matching sweater. It looks wonderful with lots of darker colors……browns, olives, forest green, purples, navy, grey etc. I want to make sure you get good use out of it!
Louis, thank you for the reminders like the scarves. I bought all of them last year for me!!!! I had forgotten about them for gifts. Your reminder had me ordering several for gifts for this year. They are really great since they are unisex! I love them. I also have all the shawls. I love those, too. They work so well over coats, too. Thanks again, Louis.
I guess I can stop dreaming of an ivory and navy! I already had 2 blacks. I took a chance on Friday and ordered the red for me (I’m usually more of a ruby girl) and another black for a gift. Today I ordered 2 more black to have on hand for gifts. Such a nice gift for the clearance price! I just can’t figure out why this didn’t sell, especially in the black.
P.S. I’ve had so many compliments on the raspberry pea coat I ordered last summer before it went on clearance, I just ordered it in black. I have the shawls in raspberry and black…love them , too!
I can only think the Hunter and Nutmeg weren’t for everyone? Though the Black and Brick Red did only fair too. Even at the full price they were still a good deal…One never knows
Just wore the nutmeg scarf this week with the oversize nutmeg whisper knit sweater. With a short black pencil skirt, tights and boots, it was perfect on a cold, rainy New York day! I’m sorry the scarf is not returning, but that’s a great clearance price – I’m stocking up for gifts. (P.S. The WK shawl makes a really great gift, too!)
Enjay….that is Jac’s number 1 sweater. That has become her go to everyday sweater. A QVC package came the other day? I asked Jac what was in it….Two more of that sweater in Black….she has it in three sizes, xs sm and med, and likes them all………I agree about the shawl….another piece that will not return. It’s going to be impossible to get the buyers to invest in these kinds of accessories if they don’t have a good sell through.
Couldn’t agree more, Louis. In fact, I submitted a review yesterday because I discovered I’d never done so for the four colors that I bought. This scarf is tender around the neck yet remarkably warm. Cozy, cozy comfort.
Off I go to get a couple more. I shouldn’t have hesitated yesterday to get that brick red. Darn!
Dear Elaine…..I agree with you…I would have loved to offer these scarves in 20 colors, but the selling was very slow, and therefore on clearance they went, so unfortunately new colors won’t be coming. When they are gone, as they say, they are gone. Just this morning Jac said I think we should get more scarves, because there is always someone through out the year we need to get a present for. Boxed up and ready to go……….
Good morning Louis, this is a fabulous scarf. I bought 4 last year and was reluctant to part with them as gifts, so 4 more are on the way to me! Would have loved to see them in more colors.
