“COLORS”

Hello everyone……………………there is a good possibility that a Whisper Knit pant, a long skirt like A257384, and the scarf as we have had will be ordered for fall for a Sept delivery……….The million dollar question. What colors do you want?????????????? I was thinking for the pant….Black, Chocolate, Navy, Wine…..for the skirt Black, Blackberry, Heather Charcoal Grey…….I’m not sure what the scarf should be?Winter White, Scarlet Red, Black, Wine and Heather Charcoal Grey is what I was thinking though I probably will not be using those colors for WK sweaters again since they already exist………..Suggestions please!………………………………..much Love, Louis

    Hi Louis,

I would like the new whisper knit pants in charcoal grey (to match the other charcoal grey WK pieces) and black in a 32″ length. Thanks for asking!

Hi Louis – Here’s my input:
Pants: Espresso, Camel, Black, Navy, Blackberry
Skirt: Long skirts are not my preference
Scarf: Winter White, Perfectly Pink, Camel, Alabaster, Espresso, Blackberry, Navy

    Thanks for listening!

I just found out the WK new pant and the WK long skirt are only going to be purchased in two colors each, so after black there isn’t much choice. Hopefully everyone will get behind these items and they sell out quickly so they will reorder in more colors next year……if we should all live so long…LOL….the scarf will be bought in onlt 3 colors so I chose Black, W. White and Scarlet Red.Again let’s hope it sells well enough for reorders.

Thanks for the good news. It is great that you have been able to bring these items back. I love all three items! Thanks, Louis!

  3. Carol

Yes to chocolate and wine or blackberry pants.

  4. DiamondDeb

Louis, I think your color suggestions are the best. Classic, basic colors should bring us reorders. The scarf in charcoal heather grey is a must-have for me, please. I wish I had one right now! AND…I’m all-in for Milano stitch, slim-leg WK pants – crossing my fingers.

Thank you for asking for our input and keeping me well-dressed every day!

  5. Rochelle

Would a petite-length WK also return?

    1. louis dell'olio

The new pant is coming in petites.

  6. Beth

Long skirt colors: Navy, Walnut or Dark Umber, Heather Charcoal Gray, Camel (same color as the poncho), Scarlet Red, Blackberry would be wonderful in a long WK skirt!!!
Scarf colors: Winter White, Alabaster or Cream, Taupe, Navy, Mallard or Hunter Green

So glad to hear a long WK skirt could be on its way, I love this length for winter time. I also like the idea of your scarf returning, yours are the best as are all of your clothing!!!
I would also love to see your shawl make a come back some day.

    Thanks for asking our opinion!!

  7. Chris/Jazzmom

WK Pants olive, cream similar to mixed media sweater, alabaster
Scarf same cream as above pants, alabaster, mulberry

  8. Fairfax

Thank you for asking us. I would love pants and and scarves in blackberry, alabaster, winter white, and anything in Linea OLIVE.

  9. Karen in WA

    OH, blackberry!!! Blackberry in everything……………..

  10. Karen in WA

For the scarf, cream, Pink, Brick red (Like the one pared with the shetland sweater), Fuchsia, alabaster. I do not care for that skirt. Maybe pants in brown.

  11. Grace

    Dear Louis,

Great news about a long skirt! I like your colors–Black, Blackberry, Heather Charcoal Grey–plus, I could use Navy, Olive or Camel. For the pants, Black, Chocolate, Navy, Charcoal Grey & Blackberry. I hope the regular size of the pants come in a 32-inch inseam, because any shorter and I won’t be able to wear them. For the scarf…Black, Navy, Winter White, Persian Blue, Fuschia/Pink.

    1. Pecan Cookie

      Ditto!

The BEST color you ever did was Mahogany that is only in sweater A257383. The color is more sophisticated than a wine and doesn’t have purple tones which I dislike. This sweater has an adorable small collar I adored, so feminine, but unfortunately has the ribbed bottom which is very unflattering on a larger gal (size XL), also is too long. It would help if QVC stopped the practice of lengthening the larger sizes. Nearly all your tops the past couple years have been very long, tunic length. I was glad to see the new WK sweater is shorter, but wish it were offered in interesting colors (something you excel at).

Anyway, I wish for a Mahogany.

I wouldn’t buy a skirt. The scarves that were discontinued were great, but needed better color choices and would be better if longer.

I love the WK pants. The first year they were way way too long and oversized. Had to return for smaller size. Also the sizing was very inconsistent. The length needs to take into account that the pants wear a couple inches longer than the flat measurement. This isn’t something that can be shortened, so petite length is a must. The tighter/denser fabric you describe may help with the very long wear length issue.

Thank you very much for taking an interest in your customers.

    Hi Louis,

As far as the scarf (not to mention tops, especially any of the ENR swing styles), I’m holding out for periwinkle! Bottoms: Another vote for espresso. Have a wonderful day!

    Madame

  14. Dariann Lopez

YEA! PLEASE bring all 3 to us in winter white and black!

  15. Victoria1

    Louis
    I love classics in scarves. Heathered beige/camel/ your dark navy/ black/ walnut/ taupe/wine/cream
    Thank you!

  16. Goldie76

For the Skirt: Blackberry, Heather Charcoal Grey (I own the Black, but Black would be an excellent choice for those who do not have it), Linea Navy

For the Scarf: Scarlet Red, Traditional Linea Fuchsia, Linea Olive, Linea Navy, Wine

    1. Goldie76

      Dear Louis,

Thank you for championing the return of the long skirt and the ever-so-fabulous scarf!

    2. Goldie76

Forgot Espresso for the long skirt. Such a rich color.

  17. WNYGal/April

All your suggestions hit the mark, although as a fan of the WK T neck swing, I’d like to see an espresso skirt to match that color, too. I’d also like to see one out of the ordinary bright in the scarf, such as violet, aqua, or hot pink for an unexpected shot of color during these upcoming dark days of winter to brighten up all our black coats – OK, MY black coats – , but I hear what you’re saying about QVC shying away from anything “unusual”. Hurray for it’s return, in any case!

  18. Enjay

Love your suggestions, but I would request espresso instead of chocolate. Everything and anything in black, charcoal, navy, wine, camel and your gorgeous neutral olive.

    1. Kate

What she said, plus I’d love the scarf in the new cream and maybe perfectly pink, too. I wore your pink coat to death (you were onto pink in winter 3 seasons early!) and now would love a face-flattering pink scarf.

      1. MH-MN

Cream, navy, camel, and for a scarf, beside navy, something unusual but classic like chestnut, maroon, or mahogany would be great.

  19. Susan B.

Louis, I would love anything wine. My closet is full of your designs. Thank you for the joy you give me each day as I put together what I will wear.

  20. Maia

Louis, I’d like a blue scarf. Whatever blue you think best. Persian blue, which would look great with all our gray items?

  21. Romy

Pants: Chocolate, Alabaster, Camel, Winter White
Skirt: Espresso, Alabaster, HCGray, Navy,Camel, Winter White, Blackberry
    Scarf: Winter White, Camel, Alabaster,Espresso
will you be able to do tights again to match the skirts?

  22. Mary H

A camel scarf would be lovely.

  23. jeancp

    Louis,

The skirt in your navy would be so beautiful and classic, and work back to so many of your sweaters, shirts, and jackets we already own. Navy for the scarf as well.

  24. Ruth

Pants I reach for are black, deep gray, dark brown and sometimes navy.
I’m putting my vote in for deep gray even though you have said that the buyers wouldn’t go for it because I think there is a need for gray pants as they work with so many differently colored tops.
Favorite winter weight scarves are gray, deep teal, and just about any shade of deep red, wine, burgundy, plum, berry – nothing that leans to orange.

  25. luvitorleaveit

Louis, I would love your WK pants in a slimmer leg version than the one you did before in wine and blackberry of course black, and if there is a grey that works back to most of your other grey items like the blue/grey color block cardigan (A267883) otherwise your color suggestions are perfect. Thanks.

  26. Beryl

Love, love that skirt. Any color you finally choose will be coming home to me.

  27. blinddogs

Louis, I LOVE the WK pants! Please make them the slim leg style, not the wider leg version that you did way back when. Charcoal Grey heather would be perfect in the pants, as well as the skirt. You have done so many lovely WK items in that shade recently so a similar or matched shade in the WK pants and skirt would be most welcome.

Although you did the original WK pants in a dark green– I think it was a spruce shade?– I’d love to see the WK pants and skirt return in an olive green to go with your newer items in that shade. Yes, I know, I’m a “greedy greenie”– Blinddogs

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The new pant is a straight to slim leg. This new pant is not in the ENR. It’s in a med. weight Milano knit so it isn’t as stretchy as the ENR…..more like a Ponte. It is a little heavier than the ENR, but some complained of bagging which this shouldn’t do…..what do you think of this idea?

      1. luvitorleaveit

The new pant sounds like a winner, can’t wait! Thanks Louis.

        1. Seka

YES! This is GREAT News! I Love your description of the new Pant! And YES – I prefer a straight/narrow leg pant. Your colour suggestions are Terrific – I hope the Wine is very dark like the Blackberry! I also like blinddogs suggestion of Olive – I would wear Olive Wk Pants – and a long WK Skirt!

The new Ponte-like WK Pant sounds perfect!

You have mentioned this before about many women and it is true for me – I prefer dark colours on bottoms – and if I venture out for a brighter colour it will be on tops. I have 7 pairs of your WK Pant and 4 of your long WK Skirts.

Your Scarf colour suggestions (would prefer Blackberry over Wine) – I would wear all of them – and buy for gifts too!

Thank you for asking for our opinion.

      2. Enjay

Really pulling for a slim leg!

      3. Grace

Any chance the pant will come in a 32-inch inseam?

  28. Chris S.

    Louis,
I love your suggestions! They are perfect for me. One wish would be adding heather charcoal grey in the pants, but I know we can’t have them all.
    Thanks so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The only reason I didn’t add the HCG was because the Super Ponte Boot C. pant is already in the HCG

  29. Jane J.

Hi Louis, I would like to see the WK pants in a DARK DARK CHARCOAL (not heathered, not medium grey). Thanks for asking!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They would think it’s too close to black and would not buy both….I know from experience.

      1. Jane J.

        Thanks, Louis. That’s too bad.

  30. queendiva

Hooray for more WKs- especially the pants! Must have petite lengths again, please.
I like the colors you suggest for pants. Also like anything in blackberry and charcoal heather gray. Still hoping for a rich Garnet anything! For a future sweater and scarf: aquamarine please!Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

As pretty as I think aquamarine would be….the last time I did too fashion colors they didn’t sell. If the scarf doesn’t sell out this time I can’t ask them to do it again, so I want to make sure the colors I do are colors everyone wants.

  31. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, since we’ve been so blessed to get blackberry tops this season, could we possibly have the pant also in blackberry? I like the skirt in blackberry but I wear pants to the office – which is a lot more of my lifestyle.

  32. Michelle S.

Would love to see navy in the skirt as well please.

  33. Debbie M

I love your new cream color for any one of those items. I also like your taupe as in the swing cardigan.
