Are those white Linea Leisure pants with the long black cardigan and ivory tank or are they something new? Since I own the cardigan and tank, I would love to put that outfit together if I’m lucky enough to get the necklace.
They are vintage Linea crepe pants from years ago. I believe there was a jacket with special buttons that had gold rims and pearl half ball centers that went with the trouser..
Louis, I loved those crepe pants. I got them in all three colors — black, beige, and lavender with the jackets to match. Perfection. As suits and seperates they worked for so many occasions.
And wouldn’t it be great if it was available for all our NOLA friends to actually be able to receive it in time for the final day of Mardi Gras? Laissez les bon temps roulez!
Nice thought, but it’s already too late for that. QVC deliveries to this area take a week or more, and Mardi Gras is a week from today. I placed a QVC order yesterday and the expected date of delivery is the day before Mardi Gras. So a necklace ordered tonight or tomorrow will come after the big day. But that’s all right, I’ll be happy just to snag one!

Goldie, I’m still deciding on color choices for the seed bead–definitely want the black and one more. Leaning toward the turquoise…but the lime green is gorgeous, too, and then the tangerine is so summery. I don’t need all four. Decisions, decisions…What did you get?

I am supremely pleased with my “sum-sum-summertime” choices of lime green and turquoise. Of course the black, with its highly unusual color arrangement — especially in a seed bead necklace — and its pure sophistication appealed to me. But, I do not like black near my face, so I nixed that one easily. Pretty certain to regret it in the future, but right now, I think I am good, as they say. So, if there is an EZ-Pay, I might go for the tangerine.

Louis, I had to chuckle when I saw my name at the end. I have to tell you that I went weak in the knees when I spotted those “diagonally ribbed gold thin metal tubes.” Do they help make this piece or what?
