“Sneak Peek #8” is filled with goodies! The two items that I will be writing about are the A216528, the BRUSHED COTTON BLAZER, and the A3825, the CREW NECK SWEATER. Both of these items are REORDER ITEMS, and have been very popular. They both share some of the same reasons for their popularity….such as being……..CLASSIC………COMFORTABLE……….SEASON-LESS.
A216528, the brushed cotton jacket is avail in three colors……BLACK……OLIVE…..and the new…..PEACOCK…… The black and olive are true neutral colors and can be worn with almost anything. The peacock, as with Peacock feathers is a BLUE/GREEN. Some think it is more green, but when you put it next to a true green….the blue in the color is very apparent. However you see it, the color is RICH and SATURATED, and any photo taken does not do it justice! All three jackets have gunmetal trims….buttons and zippers. The GUNMETAL works wonderfully with all of the new Linea jewelry that will be coming in both the gunmetal and SILVER combinations. Already avail. is the chain hoop earring in both the silver and gunmetal. I will also be introducing my first “WATCH” in Aug. that will also be avail in BURNISHED GUNMETAL and BURNISHED ROSE GOLD. It is very unique and very different from anything I have seen on QVC……They also work perfectly with this entire group of clothing…..You will just have to wait for the sneak peek…..but I will say…… it definitely as an ethnic flair. All three jackets are beautifully lined. The sleeves have three WORKING BUTTONS….so…if the sleeve is a little long for you….you can turn them back where there is a FULL FACING. QVC describes them as SEMI-FITTED, but I would say they are FITTED jackets compared with others I have done…..I think that is also one of the main reasons they are so popular….they give you a great shape, and they look great CLOSED and OPEN. If you haven’t bought one previously and you are thinking about getting one now….be sure to check the click here measurements, and read all the “comments” posted by the women who already own one…or two…or now….three……I think they will be very helpful to you. I know many of you have already received your jackets and have already posted your comments. For those of you who are on the fence…..don’t wait too long or you may have to wait another year.
A3825, is the CLASSIC SHORT SLEEVED, CREW NECK sweater. What has made this very simple sweater such a success is….the fit…..the softness of the cotton blend yarn……..and the easy care factor. ……it is the perfect layering piece and it is also beautiful on it’s own. The new colors are PEACOCK, and yes it will work with the peacock blazer as well as being a terrific accent to many thinks you already own…..like the paisley Boho skirt. The photos above will give you an idea of how it can work into your wardrobe……..and PALE OLIVE, which also works with many things you already own. It’s a soft color and has a 50’s VIBE……..definitely a little retro. It works wonderfully well with navy, camel, gray, burgundy, brown, dark olives [photo above of the dark olive blazer with the pale olive sweater and the pale olive herringbone pant], cream and ivory and many many more. Of course, it is perfect with the new pale olive herringbone suit too. These are sweaters you just keep collecting, and with each new collection, you will find new ways of combining them.
There are many little tidbits in the photos above….the reorder crew neck sweater cardigan, A217983, in the new TARRAGON color. The KNOT NECKLACES in the GOLD, SILVER and GUNMETAL, which will be avail. in two lengths……..the new BAROQUE CROSS, which will be avail in GOLD/BLACK, GOLD /BORDEAUX, and GOLD/ TARRAGON. Also in the photo is the new BAROQUE STATION NECKLACE, which has double sided carved stations in different shapes with enamel on both sides. Spaced through out the necklace are smooth oval beads to match the enamel colors. This necklace will be offered in the same colors as the Baroque cross….Black, Bordeaux, and Tarragon. Naturally, I love them all worn together along with the knot necklace in gold and the up coming multi cross necklace in gold…..it looks like a million dollars…..and really…..a runway designer look. Hi Louis, looking at the picture….looks as though the tarragon is darker than the pale olive, but just a bit lighter than the olive. Do me and my computer see this right? Looks like I’m going to love it!

I LOVE the new black/gold stations necklace and cross! Any idea as to when they will be presented? Am also a huge fan of the reorder cardigan, which I have in Cassis and Gray. Will there be another color other than the Tarragon? I bought an organizer which works very efficiently for many of your other pieces of jewelry that I have. Looks like I will need another one!
Hi Barbara…..Yes, there is another color coming in the sweater….it’s called persimmon, however I’m not sure you will like it since I now know you are not fond of warm colors. Even though it is not at all like the Chili pepper it is definitely in the same warm range. It looks more paprika than persimmon, which to me is be redder.It’s almost a red clay color…..I’m terrible trying to describe colors!
I’m not sure when the jewelry is being delivered. It’s supposed to be Sept, but since the jewelry is only sold on line their schedule isn’t as set as when you have a show date and time.
Actually, I love the warm autumn-leaf and spice colors but they don’t work with my skin tones :-(. My skin yellows up and I look like I need to go lie down and rest for several days. I envy those who can wear them well. I will have my laptop in Vienna, so can keep up while I’m away. Fortunately, someone will be here at the house so I can go ahead and order as soon as they are available. Thanks! Barbara
PS: You will need to lose a bit more weight so that you can eat pastry in Vienna. It is forbidden to go to Vienna and not eat pastry!!!

But of course :-). Also with your coffee and anything else you can put it on! The Viennese will also sit down and eat an entire apple strudel as their main course for dinner. Sigh….When I was there last was pre-motherhood and other interesting times in the lives of women and I could eat anything and everything I wanted. Can you imagine wanting to GAIN weight? The good thing about Vienna is that you can do a lot of enjoyable walking, which is what OG and I plan on doing. I hope you ad Jac both LOVE it there!

Dear Chris……that sweater is coming in two new colors, but not Tarragon. However, Tarragon will be a new Whisper Knit sweater plus the NEW WHISPER KNIT PULL-ON PANT! which is fantastic! I also have a few other things up my sleeve in Tarragon….but….my lips are sealed!

Yes, and it is beautiful. It is the same construction, Every Needle Rib, as the original, so it has weight and a beautiful drape. If you truly love it….my advise would be to stock up, because I doubt if it will be a reorder. I really pushed to get them to buy it, because I really believe in it. However, many women hear “sweater pant” and get scared. For me, it’s better than a ponte pant, but that’s just MHO.

As for the lovely and versatile Brushed Cotton Jacket, I own it in black, the elusive and well stalked olive and now that gorgeous
Peacock, and it is my favorite jacket overall. Love my lace jackets, my velvets, my wools … But time and time again I reach for these brushed cottons to dress up or down, be comfortable in nearly any temperature, and look SHARP. Oh, did I mention that even at 5’3″ short and 2-3X, this jacket manages to give me an hourglass figure? And the cleverly hidden hand pockets for a bit of élan … Brilliant! As far as I’m concerned, the only thing that could make this jacket better is if it came in Chili Pepper … Louis ???

If you already own the black bead necklace with the gold beads that is sold out and the gold bracelet with the round black beads….they look great with the new necklaces too….it really makes for an impressive group worn together.

I own this blazer A216528 in black and olive, and have 5 of your crew neck sweaters in olive, pale olive, deep plum, black, and peacock. I can’t wait to get my hands on the knot necklaces (all 3 colors coming home to my jewelry box). Do you know the item# for the knot necklaces? I too own this jacket in two colors and the third is on its way! I don’t recognize the little green cardi with the waist-whittling ribbing. Did I miss something?
