“BOTANICAL PRINTS”

……………………………..For Spring 2019 one of the strongest print trends is………..”The Botanicals”…………………….Above, are photos of just a few of the Botanical prints that will be coming from different leading designers around the world for Spring and EARLY FALL of 2019…………..The center caftan is right off the most recent Gucci runway for Pre-Fall 2019.. The florals above are from Gucci, Hermes, Dolce and Gabbana, Erdum and Etro….all for this coming  spring, and pre fall……Botanicals are a very specific type of floral print……..They are for the most part realistic, and drawn from actual specimens…………..My love for flowers is the reason I have chosen a BOTANICAL PRINT for my newest BIG DEAL…………………….I hope you enjoy them as much as I did doing them…….I might add….all of the clothes above are over $2000, and the scarves are in the $500 range and above. I can assure you my BIG DEAL is a fraction of that….but….they look like they could cost over $2000…..and $500…..and above!…………………….enjoy…………………much Love…………………………..Louis

Botanical prints have been around for centuries. Many naturalists/scientists drew a plant at all stages of its life & were put into books in either pen & ink drawings or as colored inks were developed — in color.

Two of my favorite books are ‘100 English Roses for the American Garden’ & ‘100 Old Roses for the American Garden’ by Clair G. Martin.
You can probably find both on Amazon.

Oh Louis, How I love, love, love botanical prints and have them all over my house. Many are by a very gifted Virginia artist. I love bringing the outside into the house for all seasons of the year. Some of the prettiest bedrooms I did for clients featured realistic floral prints. Brunschwig&Fils always had some gorgeous ones as did Arthur Sanderson and Sons, lee Jofa, and Colefax and Fowler. The men also loved them as long as they didn’t contain unnatural things like blue roses LOL! Your prints are spectacular. One could frame the scarves and put them on the walls! I will have a hard time limiting myself to one colorway. But of course the scarves can be worn independently. Thank you for these gorgeous offerings!

    Louis,
The florals are gorgeous. Unfortunately due to a side effect from my breast cancer can no longer pull things over my head. Do you remember those gorgeous abstract flowy jackets long sleeve in blue and white, black and white, brown and white and a kind of avocado greenn and white. These are some of the best pieces of clothing I have ever owned. Today, they are perfect! I have to wear a compression sleeve now and the jackets slide on with such ease. I would have loved to have had your florals in a casual jacket. Depending on my pants and shoes…the jackets can take me to dinner at nice restaurant, the museum or my yoga class. They are indestuctable. I have been asked many times where I got them and could the woman asking get one. Would love some more. Do you have some Print Jac loved that you never used. I don’ know how they sold on the Q , but still my best friends. I can even wear one to bed when I am traveling. Actually I thought what if he did a pant with this top as lounge or PJs but inseam can’t be 30 inches, but 27/28 shorter slightly wider pants…91% polyester and 9 % spanx! Whether that idea is possible or not. I still have these fab pieces!❤️

Dear Victoria….I don’t recall those jackets. Do you have the A number?

    Hi Louis!

Haven’t read thru all of the individual item posts yet but had to comment. I knew we were getting scarves when Jennifer slipped during one of her presentations. You played coy when I mentioned the scarves. You know you can’t get over on the Linea Ladies… we pay attention!

And I finally ordered the Sapphire pants and new gauze tunic on Sunday. Got a credit for the clearance WP crops and the long IG cardigan, free S&H and 10% thru Ebates. I felt like the woman on the Ikea commercial (“Start the Car”), lol.

Thanks for all you do for us!

Dear Seka….I know you won’t be disappointed….The print id truly magnificent. I love the way the flowers from the main field and the flowers from the borders extend into each others spaces. It’s a beautiful print, a true designer placement print. Each coloration is so unique that you can’t go wrong. Be sure to pick up the matching necklaces while they are still avail!! I think there may be a run on them once the women see the Big Deal.
