“THE MAASAI BRACELET & EARRING”

………………………….I think we truly captured the look and feeling of the jewelry the Maasai women and men wear………….There are approx. ELEVEN different beads, discs and tubes that make up the COIL WRAP BRACELET, J477423…..It’s the type of bracelet that you just can’t stop looking at. If you really want to be Maasai and have some fun….wear a gold roller bracelet on either side of the coil bracelet for a dramatic stacked look!….I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how many things this bracelet and earring will work with. The pierced earring is J477425. The placement of the beads, tubes and discs gives the earring a very hand made look, which it is!…It isĀ  very different from anything I have offered before, and it is super light in weight too. The top of the earring is attached to a ring. If you can’t wear pierced earrings you can easily change the pierced top to a clip by attaching the clip to the ring. There are many CLIP on tops avail, for you to EASILY replace the pierced top. Just google gold clip on earring tops, or something like that and you will have many choices at all different prices. They even offer Brass if gold is too bright for you!…..Both the bracelet and earring have the same squarish gold beads that make up the Mayan necklace, J393302, so these pieces will work beautifully with that necklace for a very different look. The Blue beads coordinate with all of your SAPPHIRE pieces. For example….something easy…..a white tee, the sapphire slim pant and your Maasai jewelry. Very simple but a strong statement. I know you will find many ways to mix these pieces with what you already own…………..enjoy………………..much Love…………..Louis

There is a company called Sashka which operates out of Katmandu, Nepal, and employs local women there to create hand made, woven embroidered beaded roll on bracelets in a co-op arrangement that brings the women empowerment and a living for them and their families. These bracelets are all done in vivid and interesting designs, and I own a couple of arms lengths of them, with which your Maasai bracelet will stack beautifully and naturally. Of course, I bought the whole set. What a beautiful tribute to these magnificent people.

April, does this company have a web site. I’d love to see what they make.

        Happy to spread the word.

    75uTs work, Louis!

Oh this bracelet, Louis! I saw a photo of the earrings first because the photo of the bracelet had not yet been posted. The earrings captured my interest at once; I’ve bought ethnic jewelry since I was in high school. The fact that the earrings were pierced was, at first, a deterrent, to tell the truth, but you’ve eased my worries about that. Will change to clip-ons.

As for the bracelet — once I saw the photo, I was ensnared. The coil, the colors, the bronze/copper elements — in addition to all the intense colors — all together, these elements please me no end. Cannot wait to receive these pieces! Gorgeous!

Please ignore this. I do not know how this happened.

Louis, the Maasai bracelet and earrings will also coordinate with the Royal/Sapphire Seed Bead Necklace! I could not wear the Seed Bead Cuff as my wrist is so skinny (not the rest of me)–but with no opening in this cuff, it might just work for me! I’m ordering all three pieces!

      Sheesh,

Are you going for the necklace, too? I’ll understand, of course, if you do not want to answer. You are much slimmer than I am but are around the 5’2″ mark like me, I think.

To think, when I was 5’4″ I thought I was not tall enough. So odd to be this height-challenged, I admit.

Goldie, I ordered all 3 pieces! I loved the 4 months I spent in Africa in 2013 and I do hope to go back some day.

          Sheesh,

Now I recall. Weren’t you in South Africa? My first intro to you occurred when you wrote to Louis about washing one of your Linea tops in your hotel room’s basin and hanging it out to dry.

          Did I remember this correctly?

Hi Sheila, hope you are loving all the masai pieces. I ordered the necklace and earrings but holding off on the bracelet. I have a very skinny wrist (5.5 inches circumference) so I am usually out of luck with bracelets. Did you get yours? Is it too big? Just wanted to see if it works on you. Thank you.
