“THE CAMO PRINT SKIRT”

…………………The CAMO PRINT SKIRT, A351473, is approx. 25 inches long for the XXS……..That measurement is from the top of the elastic waist band, which you can place lower or higher. The construction of the skirt is pure designer. It may look very simple…..but it is not. The skirt is fully lined with the same tricot knit I always use. The bottom tier ruffle is attached to the lining. However, the lining extends down past the seam where the ruffle is attached to prevent any difference in color from the skirt and the bottom ruffle. The lining also has side slits just to make sure any movement is easy and unencumbered……….Most important is that the skirt is light as a feather, and moves beautifully……….This is a skirt for fashionable sophisticated women. Even though there are ruffles there is nothing “little girl” about this skirt. The print is edgy and timeless. Like all of my designs they are meant to be worn as separates. To illustrate that at the left are two tops. The Moss Crepe black short sleeve top, A353587, and the dark olive crepe gauze tunic, A351473, but there are so many more possibilities……..The Black and Dk Olive Safari shirts would both work great not to mention any black tank….The matching shirt gives you a wonderful two piece dress look. Wear it belted or free flowing…..The accessory possibilities are endless……..Wear the skirt now with a wonderful sandal or wedge, and in the fall with tights and boots or shoe boots…..I will be bringing new tights and trouser socks this Sept to complete the look………………………………………….

enjoy…………much Love……………….Louis

Good morning Louis, I received my camo skirt and top last night. They are so beautiful. I can’t wait to wear the skirt with my black Linea turtleneck sweater and Linea leather blazer the way you showed it. I think I may have to take with me to Napa valley next week and wear with your Linea linen black tunic. The skirt is so flirty and the top is lovely with the rolled up sleeves. Thank you Louis!!!

Thanks for the sneak peeks! Love these pieces. The Q’s pics did this top no favors. Love both colorways. They are a great interpretation of camo without screaming camo. The print is abstract enough to remain classic, if that makes any sense, not too trendy of you know what I mean.

The Q’s pictures never do anything any justice…..you would never know that it’s a roll-up sleeve which for me, makes all the difference. The print is more abstract than camo. It’s just the green colors that make it look camo…..the umber rally doesn’t look camo……I think a true camo print, done well, looks good in tees and cargo shorts and pants. Gili did a good one a while back, and Jac actually bought the pant.

Hi Louis, we are taking a 15 day river cruise that starts in Bordeaux and ends in Paris. We have extended our trip so we will be in Paris 5 days. I’m hoping to find the lingerie shop you wrote about earlier. I’m planning on taking lots of Linea!

Ginny….it sounds wonderful….perfect in fact. I wish I remembered the name of the shop or what street it was on. All I remember is it was on the right bank You are going the perfect time of year

Oh Louis — I love this abstract olive camo skirt! Perfect for my semi-petite frame, with just the right amount of flounce. I just ordered it … My first “fall” purchase! I have many options to mix and match with it.

I love this skirt Louis! I already ordered it. It is going to be so easy to incorporate into my wardrobe. I’m heading to France in late September and this little beauty will be making the trip.

Oh, Louis, I am in love!!!!!!!!!! What a fun, flirty, girly skirt! I am mad about the shorter length because I stand on my assets! Like Jac, I prefer a short skirt even though I am 72 and 5’9. It is a beautiful soft suiting with your new blazers, so feminine. I adore the look with the longer top, so only the two layers show, a very youthful look. Never did I ever think I would wear anything in camo but this is a Linea camo, a beautiful, watery, flowing print that only you could conceive!

I cannot fully explain my delight and excitement over this new addition to your collection. Eagerly anticipating your delicious Fall Runway show in October!!

I fly up to NY this weekend to attend my niece’s 50 Birthday party at the Garden City Hotel and I will be dressed in you from head to toe all weekend. Your sequin pants and cream wing collar topper with the black 4 strand pave necklace for the party, the India pink “silk’ top and your white pants from a few years ago and for Brunch on Sunday and for the plane another of your white pants with moss crepe short sleeve top in black with the honey Carnival necklace. All fit into my small carry on!

Thank you so very much for being not only in my closet but in my life!!! I am very grateful! Have a fantastic weekend, Louis!
