“THE YELLOW PLAID BIG DEAL BLAZER & THE CRANBERRY SHIRT W/ SCARF CON’T”

………………………….More pics of the Yellow Blazer……On the right the Espresso pant, and on the left, my Linea Jeans. One of Jac’s favorite ways to dress was a white buttoned down cotton shirt, a turtleneck, or a white tee shirt, her skinny jeans, and a must have blazer [a closet full for all seasons]. To finish the “look” off….her sneakers…..Her favorite sneakers were KEDS and CONVERSE CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR. They came in great colors. She used to buy them on line and at the DSW.

…………………I hope you like the new BIG DEAL BLAZERS and give one a try. There are so many different ways to wear and style a blazer that I’m sure you can incorporate this one into your lifestyle…….I always thought and still do that….there is nothing sexier to me than a woman in a well fitted BLAZER!…..They just have a certain attitude running around the city with their shoulder bags, and sunglasses!………………………….enjoy………………….much Love……………………….Louis

    Oh well,

    I can dream,
It looks to me more like a non-plaid plaid, if that makes sense?
I think it would have been flattering, chic and slimming, but why do you think
It wouldn’t have been popular with Linea L’s?

Any pattern bottoms are a tough sell. The fact is most women still prefer solids. The solid boho was a great success, but not one of the print bohos sold nearly as well, as a matter of fact they all went to clearance…..go figure……and print pants are even more difficult. I loved the new wood block print for many reasons. Those that got them loved them but they are still very much avail.

Beautiful. This reminds me of a wheat kind of color, a yellow
wheat, blond, sort of muted gold that is the perfect contrast to
all your gorgeous burgundies, wines and aubergines from the
past and your newer port and magentas we’re loving right now!

Louis, I can’t help but wonder why QVC won’t take the leap and
bring us the matching skirt, just once. Why create such a spectacular
JACKET and drop the ball, on not every one, but say, just one color
like this one. I’m sure women would be much more inclined to
Purchase the Yellow Jacket as a second color if it had a matching
skirt. Imagine this jacket with even a pencil skirt or inverted pleat
style. They can’t believe it wouldn’t sell out. This jacket you’ve created
screams for a matching skirt. 😬
Please tell us in the “Year of the tailored Suit”, What was QVC’s excuse???
I don’t know, I guess everybody’s wearing yoga pants and sneakers. But
THIS is a gorgeous glen plaid jacket !

Cela, honestly it was never even a discussion. The shirt was going to be the up sell and that was it. I truly don’t think a plaid skirt would have been that popular in this casual world……As you say everyone wears yoga pants, and more casual styles like jeans. It was the Super Ponte pant they chose as a coordinating bottom.
