“JANUARY SNEAK PEEK # 8”

January Sneak Peek # 8 is the A213621,theย  reorder PEBBLE CREPE TOP. As a matter of fact, the proceeding avalanche of Sneak Peeks are ALL reorders. Sorry for the “avalanche”, but I’ve been a little cramped for time. Anyway, most of you are familiar with the following sneak peeks, and some of you have already ordered them and have received them…..a smart move avoiding the last minute phone calls to QVC. …..and getting the size you want. Back to the TOP. The new color is ……CHILI PEPPER……and as you can see in the photos….it’s a great match to the CHILI PEPPER BOHO, which is also avail. to order. The returning colors are……NAVY…….COFFEE BEAN……BLACK…..There may be one or two other colors in very broken sizes…..you can check on line and see what’s avail. The VIRTUES of pebble crepe……4 seasons wear [great in hot weather], wash and wear, easy to pack and since it already has a texture [hence the name PEBBLE] there is very little wrinkling. If you own pebble crepe, I’m singing to the choir, if not, I suggest you read what the ladies have to say….they own it, they wear it and they LOVE it….Yes the jewelry is coming! Please take note on the chili pepper….. the wine beads [I think they are called wine] and the wine drop earring, which look great with the chili pepper….also the multi color chandelier earring looks fantastic with it…..Enjoy…….much Love…..Louis

I almost HESTITATE to ask – but will the boho skirt which shows at QVC as having NAVY on waitlist availability – be a Navy color match for the Navy pebbble top? I’ve already ordered the chili pepper top to go with my chili pepper boho ๐Ÿ™‚

Next season can we have this top in white or ivory?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I wanted to do it this season in white, but they were afraid it would be too see though. It’s difficult to,get sample yardage for a trial, but I will try again

Too see through is is the eye of the beholder. Plus, I think we all have tanks we could wear under it. Just my two and half cents.

Isn’t A215172 Pebble Crepe Shirt Jacket in the white the same material?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes….exactly, which is why I didn’t think it would be a problem……if they reorder the top again…….next season you will have white…..I will make it my mission.

Did I mention this top and a nice pair of khakis or jeans is the PERFECT outfit to wear on the plane? You know … when you get on it’s so hot and stuffy while the airport powers decide when and if you’re really going anywhere … and then half-way through the flight suddenly it’s so drafty and you need something to cover your arms … and you get off the plane still looking (MOSTLY lol) like when you got on? LOVE THIS TOP ๐Ÿ™‚

oooh, I second enjay’s suggestion of a sweater in this silouette! Something a little more luxurious I’d pay more for … a silk and cotton blend, cashemere and cotton blend … if those are too much to hope for, WK would be perfectly acceptable … and the two colors I’d request would be (to no one’s surprise) Chili Pepper and Navy. I got my Chili Pepper Tunic this week and definitely am ordering a spare; it’s just a classic, and an instant favorite … you talked about Needs and Wants the other day; this Chili Pepper Tunic (and all the colors of course) fall in the NEEDS category.

    THANKS, Cathy in PA

    Good Morning Louis:

You must be psychic – Just decided yesterday I needed this tunic for my upcoming tropical vacay (had problems viewing online videos) – sneak peeks are wonderful! This will be my 1st order of your pebble crepe (Navy & Chili Pepper) – sounds like it’s made for travel. Suspect, if handwashed – it would dry fast considering the high percentage of rayon? Think it will be a great wardrobe extender – so hard to fit 26 days of wear into regulated size carry-on’s these days, but this woman has done some serious backpackin’ – rignt down to sawing off the long end of her toothbrush for streamlining – HA!

    Thanks – UR the Best!

I have been making items in this fabric for three years and the “travelers” have all reported back that they are terrific travel clothes. Dariann [one of my Linea Ladies] took them on an extensive trip to Morocco and I think Spain and loved them, so I feel confident in giving you two thumbs UP!

I just returned from a very hot, tropic trip to Mexico and pebble crepe was practically the only thing I could wear. I’m very fair, and will burn to a crisp in too exposed, so the pants and tunic tops were ideal for me on excursions away from the hotel. I was able to stay cool (in a relative way, it was the tropics after all) and look neat and appropriate. It packs like a dream. And once you have lots of pieces, you can mix and match FOREVER and never repeat an outfit.

I just received the chili pepper and adore it. It’s great with all the black, white, coffee bean and olive bottoms that I have. Thank you, Louis, for continuing this line. It’s my summer must have.

refer to above post – my phone is wacko today. Atmospheric conditions?

Louis, this is one terrific top. I own the black, coffee bean and navy (wear them to death!) and just got the chile pepper – which is a fantastic color!

I love this silhouette. It’s such a flattering, easy style to wear over slim trousers, skirts and jeans. Just wondering – would you ever consider making a WK or other lightweight sweater in these same lines? (A cashmere-silk blend would be crazy good!)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Enjay….I haven’t thought of doing it as a sweater…..will put it on the drawing board!
