Dear Shelia

Dear Shelia….ever since you asked me if I thought the Blue Leopard and the Vivid Blue emb skirt would look good together I have been intrigued. My work for the shows and hits coming up is finished and all of the samples and accessories are on their way to Jennifer. Now she takes over and i can relax!!!!!…………..I had the time to try your suggestion……..I loved it so much I had to take a picture of it to show you and anyone else who loves to mix it up. However, this is more than mixing it up! This is runway ready. I love the combination of the Leopard and the floral emb. The colors are perfect, and that is the reason they look like they were made to go together. The bottom of the skirt even looks a little jungly…. I liked it better tucked in and belted, here with a black patent belt. I have pics of both ways just so you can see. I layered it with the BLACK GLITTERATI necklaces, but I would have mixed the BLUE GLITTERATI if I had them! They are on the way to Jen. You and I both know there will be some purists who think it is strange to mix them, but we know it is SUPERB! If I get the chance I would even show it this way….even if the skirt is sold out!!!!

    Hi
Is the leopard blue top new. When will it be offered?

Dang. Sheila. Good eye. You have given me pause. Thank you LDO for posting.

WOW! And as long as you are going to try mixing the Caramel Leopard–would it work tucked in or out with the Umber Camo Ruffle Skirt?

no caramel didn’t look good, but the loden Leopard looked good with the camo skirt

Hi, love this look. I can’t find that top on QVC? Is it new ? I love the skirt.

Diane, it’s new. I did a sneak peak on my website but you will have to click “older Posts” at the bottom left, because I have posted a lot of posts. It will be featured on PM Style Monday, on QVC1 so it should be posted tomorrow.

Louis, I was thinking the same thing this morning–does the Caramel Animal work with the Latte? I have that skirt, too—and I have an outdoor wedding in Virginia to go to, too.

Shelia, unfortunately the Caramel is too rust to work with the emb. skirt or the umber camo print skirt….however I do like the Loden leopard with the camo color skirt

Very nice! This begs the question… does the caramel version work with the latte skirt and tan glitterati?

I was thinking the same thing…..I’ll try it today.

Oh my, Louis, it looks exactly as I had hoped! And I always intended to wear it tucked in and belted. I even think I’ll get two of the Blue Animal tops so I can shorten one to wear tucked in as I fear too much fabric. I ordered the Blue Glitterati necklace, too, plus I have the Black Glass beads. I plan to wear this to an outdoor evening wedding at the Centerport Yacht Club on Long Island on September 19 (I’ll wave to you across the Sound). As you well know, it gets cold at night on the water that time of year. I’m so excited about my Runway Look! You are the best. Much love……

Dear Shelia, you are going to knock it out of the park! I think your idea about ordering two and shortening one to wear tucked in might be a good idea. You can always wear it tucked in with other things too. While you are having it shortened you might also consider having some of the flare taken out so it “fits” your hips in case you might want to wear it out over a pant or skirt too.

    Gorgeous.

I am so excited as I have the blue skirt. I was [planning to restrain myself with this visit but restraint has gone out the window. And I am excited that this top goes so well.. I do wear all my tops out but this will be fine not tucked in….
