WE ARE SITTING BY THE FIRE LOOKING AT THE BLIZZARD OUTSIDE!

We made it home safe and sound after a little snafu, because o Jac forgot her bag at QVC…..so we had to turn around to retrieve it before her head exploded!!!! We got home very late and I had a splitting tension headache, but all is well and we are now hunkered down with the girls watching the blizzard roar outside.
I hope you all enjoyed the shows. Sorry there was no presentation of the crepe pant that matched the three button blazer….it was supposed to go on just before the cotton hounds tooth check swing jacket, but they pulled it to give the jacket more time. These things happen and are unforeseen……last minute decisions by the director in the booth. As you read in my sneak peek…the ivory pant is lined so it’s a great winter as well as spring white pant. The black was not lined. If you had success with my basic gaberdine pants with the contour waist bands….these should be no problem. For those of you who bought them I would appreciate feed back and I’m sure the other ladies would too. The tank was the other item that didn’t get any “air time”…..don’t ask me why?????? I can assure you I don’t have an answer. The matching shrug will be on my March 5th show. I will have shows at 5:00am……an appearance on the 6:00am morning show with a brand new dress….similar to the poly/span jersey maxi sleeveless dress that sold out…..only this one is in a brand new print …..is short and has 3/4 sleeves…..it’s in a fabulous batik print and will come in three color combinations…..then I will have a 1pm show that I’m hoping all the new things are on, but knowing the Q they may put some new on the 5am,…..I’ll let you know.
OK, that’s enough fashion for now……now I have to go and sit with my 4 girls by the fire……thank you all again for two very successful shows!!………….much Love, Louis

    Hi Louis,
You mentioned that you will be on again on March 5th but I’m looking at the Insider Magazine and you’re scheduled on March 3rd at 2am. Do you know which schedule is correct? Thankyou!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jen…….none of them are correct! The whole schedule has changed and the insider was printed before the change. I will be on March 4th at 5am and 1pm. The listing on the Linea QVC site is correct.

      1. Jen

        Well, go figure…
Thankyou for giving me the correct times! I love your WK line! I’m a physical therapist so I need to dress in comfortable clothes that stretch and your WK sweaters fit the bill while keeping me in style! Thankyou!!

    Hi Louis,

I want to let you know that I tried your line for the first time on TSV day – I purchased the iris jacket and two of the bodysuits. I fell in love with them and could not believe the quality for the price! I went back and ordered another TSV in seafoam. I ordered a lot during this past visit and can’t wait to get the items. I purchased the new ivory tank, the indigo denim skirt, both “Sophia dresses” and the drawstring dress in slate blue. I am in my early thirties but work in a very professional environment. I need to look pulled together but appropriate for my age. I really appreciate how your designs integrate so well with the rest of my wardrobe! And thank you to your loyal fans on the Q bulletin boards, who give great tips about sizing and mixing up items.

Dear Annie……welcome to my web site and the world of Linea!! I hope everything you purchase from me is as satisfying as your first experiences with the line. I can tell you my manufacturer and I do our best to bring the best made product we possibly can and still make it affordable. You have already discovered that I have the BEST and most HELPFUL ladies who are always willing to give advise on anything concerning Linea, and I am always here if you need to ask any questions……I will do my best to answer.

    Louis and Jac,

That fire sounds nice. I hope you are still warm and safe after the blizzard. Based on this morning’s newscast I’m guessing you might have gotten about 3 feet of snow! I hope you still have your power and lots of provisions. The poor girls can get lost in it. Deep snow can be problematic for height-challanged dogs. I had to shovel a path and potty area for my corgi girl the last time we had a big snow (about 18″).

The shows were great! I rearranged my work schedule so I would watch. Gorgeous! I’m getting the denim pieces, the suits, the tanks, the striped cardi, and trying the Sophia dress and the drawstring dress and hoping they will work on my large/xlarge narrow-shouldered shape. Keeping my fingers crossed. Can’t wait for the March show.

Glad Jac remembered her purse before you all got too far down the road. That’s a sickening feeling to realize it isn’t with you.

    Warm hugs!

    Julia

We didn’t get as much snow as they said, but we got enough to last until April! First thing this morning Jac was out shoveling a path for the girls to go potty. I made it out a little later to finish the job. They don’t think they are short and go leaping head first…..it’s a good thing they are black!!If you have ny trouble with the dresses because you have narrow shoulders……you may want to try a small shoulder pad. You can take some snap out ones you probably have from something else and put them under your bra strap to keep them in place just to try the dresses on to see if it makes a difference……just a general suggestion when trying anything on you may think your shoulders are too narrow for…..it can help.

    Hi Louis:

You really out did yourself with these two shows!!! I bought several pieces, including the denim skirt in blue. Question: I bought the flounce back denim jacket with your signature buttons, in blue last spring; will the new denim match? Also, I could not resist the aqua cotton hounds tooth swing jacket to go over the blue skirt and one of your navy tops (I have several) as shown on Jac.

I am so happy that Jac retrieved her purse; a lost purse is the equivalent of an earthquake for us girls :-))

God bless you and thanks for all that you do for us,

      Soldout,

I’ll stick my nose in and say that during the show Louis said that he used the same denim as the pants and jackets from last year. Last year’s jackets came in white, black, and indigo. The pencil skirts this year are in the same denim and they should go with the white and indigo. That being said, they are still a different “batch” and not from the same bolt but they should work together.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Morning Soldout………as Quila has said. It is the same fabric and color as last year, but there are variables. Even though the fabric company was instructed to repeat the same color…..everything has to be done all over a year later……there is a lot of technical stuff and the washing of the fabric can always change the dept of color some what, but I will say my new samples of the skirt and denim jacket look pretty good next to last years, peplum blazer and pant…..so it’s as close as humanly possible.

Glad you and Jac made it home safe. I enjoyed both shows. I would liked to order everything. But I did order the petite black pants and I ordered two of the petite ivory pants along with the new jackets (this new jacket reminds me of my favorite ivory jacket A86851) and the tanks and all three of the skirts. I ordered the blush clipped dot blouse. I know it will look good with the ivory and black pieces as well as the navy pieces. Is the blush the same color as the perfectly pink? Yet my thoughts are that you would have told us if it was the same color you would have told us on air. Just curious as I am waiting for my new Linea to arrive.

The shows were just wonderful.. very relaxed and fun to watch in real time! Every item looked stunning and I could hardly stop from getting more and more! I’m so glad you all are home safe and sound.. stay there and enjoy the fireplace!
Looking forward to more in March!

  7. Seka

Glad you’re both safe and sound at home!

Thoroughly enjoyed your Shows – loved the clothes – and those Sneak Peeks of the upcoming jewellery – WOW!

Can’t wait for the Tortoise group (saw the watch)! And the Fish Necklace – I hope your Jewellery Buyer bought a boat load of this Necklace – have seen in your Sneak Peeks and in the Show yesterday – mannequins and models wearing 2 at a time! Now I need 2 – and I don’t think I will be alone!

    Stay safe.

    Seka.

These were magnificent shows. You outdid yourself. I am purging my closet to make way for what is on its way to me from this and the prior presentation. You are getting better and better.

  9. Chris/Jazzmom

Due to the weather today, two of my items were not delivered and I will receive them on Monday. Definitely will give feedback on the two items — skirt and petite sized pants. Lovely shows, will sit and watch them in beautiful HD provided we do not lose power this evening.

Glad you made it home safely before the roads closed.

I loved the entire collection. There was nothing I didn’t want! Louis and Jac, please stay safe through this blizzard. You are in my thoughts!
