“THE BLACK & WHITE OMBRE TOP”

………..One of my most popular tops is the Ombre tunic…….For many years now I keep adding one or two new colors. After at least 10 versions I wondered what color I could possibly do to make it look different enough from the others…….After reviewing all of the different color ways I have already done it became very apparent that I have never done a Black and White top……The top above was achieved with just one color BLACK……All of the grey areas are created by a screen, not a grey dye. Sometimes the way something turns out can be a big surprise!……What can make a wonderful top even more glamorous……fabulous accessories!…..The Black and White Masaai Necklace, Earring and Coil Bracelet look like they were made for this top. The Black, White and Grey in the Massai group work perfectly with the colors of the top. It is always a find when you can discover a piece of jewelry, that isn’t a solid color, that works perfectly with a print…BTW, if you haven’t thought about it let me tell you this is one very complicated necklace to assemble….Each bead, each disc, each ring and bead has to be counted and placed just right….hours and hours to make just one!…If you are looking for something a little dressier….the “Twisted Sister” [my name not QVC’s] would be the perfect choice. The Black Jet faceted beads entwined with the faceted Silver beads and the Silver discs is a real head turner…….Above, the white or black crop  pant are a natural. The double layer black and ivory pant make for one sensational outfit!……………….enjoy………………much Love……………………Louis

You might not see this late post. I can’t believe how this exact top I’ve been dreaming of ( for my black leather jackets and other things) and hoping you would do in this style, is now MINE. It’s so cool ! I also got the copper/ black color. You didn’t style it with the espresso pant. Do you not like those two together ? The black outfit above is awesome !!! I will def. be wearing this, with my black shades. LOL .

Cela….the espresso pant was just OK. The black pant looks much better, and was a nice contrast that made the print stand out more.

OMG, you are killing me with this Black Top! I think I might have to buy two so that I’ll never be without it! Thank you soooo much for this!

I also am a member of the Ombré Club – owning so many I divide them into spring/summer and fall/winter. Both of these fabulous neutrals are coming home to live in my closet. For me, I think the colors are a little more dressy/elegant and they are different from the ones I already own. I have some very nice Linea jewelry that will pair nicely with these tops. Easy. Easy. Easy. I will keep checking to see when they are available to order.

I think I have 7 of the Ombre tunics… I think this black is just GORGEOUS!!! (and I have the black white and grey Massai group) I would not have thought to try them with this top. LOVE IT!!!

Dear Sylvia…7 tops…soon to be 8…WOW…..As for putting the Masaai with the black and white top…..what do I always tell you……P…L…A…Y….If you don’t play with what you own you will be missing out on so many different ways to wear your clothes and accessories!

Dear Louis, the new tops are gorgeous! I had purchased both Massai groups. They are both absolutely exquisite. I have been visualizing different outfits to wear the black and white necklace group with. Well Louis, you have created the perfect top. I have some of the other colors in this top, and I love them all, but I think the black, white, and gray will be my favorite to go with the new Massai group. Thank you, thank you!

Striking! The photos have been on QVC for some time, but the tops still aren’t available for ordering. I purchased the Massai group for this top, but it looks even better in your photos than I imagined.

Louis, you have out done yourself with this favorite in black, white and the gray from the screen overlay. It is just perfection.

Thank you Marta. It was fun playing with the different screens to see the effect.
