FEBRUARY JEWELRY consists of two pieces, J278125, the BEAD & HAMMERED LINK NECKLACE, and the coordinating FACETED BEAD DROP EARRING, J278127, which is very light in weight. The necklace and earring will be available in THREE different color combinations…………………..The first is called………….”GOLD TONE”……………………..The necklaces are named after the metal color of the HAMMERED OBLONG RINGS. In this necklace…..there are FIVE different color FACETED beads in various shapes and sizes. There are ……………….CITRINE……………..LIGHT TURQUOISE…………CORAL/PINK……………LIGHT SMOKEY TOPAZ………..MATTE BRASS beads…… plus SIX LARGE OBLONG HAMMERED RINGS. The necklace is approx. 48 inches long with a 3 inch extender, and a lobster claw closing. The necklace can be shortened to 44 inches if necessary by hooking the lobster claw onto additional rings that are close to the beads………………………The earring is made up of one small CORAL/PINK bead and one larger CITRINE bead. The earring is approx. 3 inches long……………If need be, you can always shorten the earring by easily removing one of the beads………..it would not hurt the look with the matching necklace at all. In the photos above …..the picture with the long necklaces is actually two necklaces on the longest length possible. The picture with the necklace doubled up is also two necklaces. I have added the addition of the GOLD PANTHER LINK WATCH, J273959, because I think it is the ideal watch to wear with this necklace. You will be surprised at how many things you will be able to wear this necklace with, both during the fall/winter and spring/summer. It looks great with winter tweeds as well as summer clothing. This past fall I mixed these necklaces with others when I show the tweed and the solid herringbone jackets in the violet, topaz and teal. Thanks Louis!!!! Great idea 🙂 And just a note ~ we just returned from a trip and boy oh boy are those 2-way zip jackets perfection for travel. I wear them on the plane and just zip up or down to accommodate sitting and the ever changing airline temps. I wear them over turtlenecks of all colors and under a black ruana cape for events I don’t want to bother wearing a coat to. They look SO sharp and are so versatile! Over dresses. Over pants. With jeans. Just an all-round great piece!
Thank you Louis for the suggestions about wearing the new necklaces with J271862 which I also have in both colors. I think I’m going to go for all 3 of the new necklaces as well. And thank you for thinking about the question holding me off from the new earrings – the length. I just do not have the neck length the models do and I’m not comfortable with earrings brushing my shoulders – it just looks dopey and unchic and really detracts from the look. Don’t want to go there. But now that you have addressed this question and suggested that a one bead version could work well – I’m definitely thinking about purchasing the earrings. Dear Nancy, with a fine needle nose pliers you can remove the bead yourself. You can also decide whether you want the one smaller bead or the one large bead, and if you decide on two pairs in different colors……you can do one with the single larger bead and one with the single smaller bead…….just a suggestion.

Dear Louis–Love this necklace, especially in the goldtone. I have J271862 in both colors and you mentioned the new necklaces would work with these. Any suggestions as to which color would look especially good with the J271862? My first thought was to order two of the goldtone, but now I’m wondering. . . By the way, I have had many compliments on the J271862; I wear the two colors together. Beautiful. Thank you.

I put all the different necklaces together and I really like the brass and the gold with the amber /olive necklace and I like the gunmetal with the amber/wine necklace. It’s not that the colors match, but when you double the link necklace and wear it combined with the J271862, the jumble all works.I am doing a new Ikat print for April that your necklaces look fantastic with!
