    Hi, Louis!
Thank you so much for the kind suggestions on Bisque/Linen color choices.
With your advice, I was convince to get the total Bisque look.
My graphite and ivory lace tops(A351465) will look so good with Bisque cardigans and pants.
So many of your items from past work really well with new ones.
Now I’m interested in getting Camel and Black cardigans too since I already own matching pieces from last year.
(Camo Amber blouse and ruffle skirt sets, WK midi skirt in Black from last year, etc)
One request for you. Would you please bring back more colors in WK tanks in the future??? (its too hot to wear turtle neck in California)
I would love to get Camel and Grey!

The black jacket with the new blouse as you showed them is very reminiscent of a hunt jacket and stock!

Hi, Louis! When I was a wee, small lass, I remember my mother wearing dressmaker jackets such as your gorgeous new rendition. In those days, women didn’t leave the house when wearing these jackets with skirts without wearing pumps, pearls, hose, gloves, and often hats. When she was a student at Duke, the young ladies couldn’t leave the Women’s Campus unless they were dressed that way! My how times have changed and also did so in her lifetime. But some habits die hard as she, an accomplished equestrienne, would not think of going riding unless she was in a proper riding habit many years later. When I was about eight and we went out to ride at a local stable in Dallas after recently moving there, she arrived wearing her tailored jacket, jods, paddock boots, and carrying her little red leather crop. She RELUCTANTLY let me ride in jeans and sneakers after I convinced her that that was what young girls wore in Texas. I do, though, think I remember wearing cowboy boots. Nor did she think much of my being put on a small Quarter Horse in a -GASP- Western saddle. The scandal LOL! Those Texans didn’t know what to make of her!!! Now my mother was anything but a snob, but she did know what was proper. She came to be very popular at that barn once they saw how good she was with the horses and how well she instructed me. They even let me come out to the barn to ride without my mother if she couldn’t be there. I still have one of my aunt’s tweed riding jackets, which is still in impeccable condition. I continued to “ride Texan” until I moved back this way as an adult in my 20s when I quickly ditched the Western saddle for what for me was a much more secure ride in a close contact English saddle. I wear breeches and boots but not a formal jacket until I joined a hunt. I still have my hunt jacket although I haven’t ridden in a hunt for years. I love seeing everyone turned out for the hunt!

I guess one of the reasons I love watch the equestrian competitions during the Olympic Games is because of how they LOOK! The men all look so handsome….and the women look so pulled together and pristine.

So I want every blazer in the TCF, as you call it, but I am going with the bisque; there is no bisque-risk for me in that I am olive skinned and brown haired and eyed, but I favor jewel tones, and your videos have convinced me to try bisque out. You always have my attention at TCF; I have taken to calling it the wonder woven because, well…it makes a girl look wonderful when wearing, but also because it makes me start singing the theme from the tv show with Linda Carter playing Wonder Woman that I grew up watching, and when I put on my trench coats that is how I feel: confident and strong. And I am going to need all of that this fall as I embark on my 27th year of being a high school English teacher. I might be apprehensive about things, uncertain how to best deliver instruction under the new required guidelines, and wondering how to best help my juniors and seniors get through it all, but at least on the outside, I will look pulled together and confident, thanks to your wonder woven and exquisite clothes.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shay….I have been watching and watching all of the debates on whether schools should open or not, and have listened to many interviews with teachers who have decided to not go back or who have decided to go back to school. I am glad I don’t have to make that decision……Going back is a crap shoot….No one, I don’t care if they are the mayor, governor or president, can guarantee 100% that it will be safe….especially when I see how irresponsible young people have been hanging out in groups and not wearing masks. If I were a teacher and had health issues I would not go back, and I have seen interviews where schools have opened and teachers have been forced to retire because of their health concerns…..However, thinking back as to when I was a student many many many years ago, even thought computers didn’t exist the way they do today, I would not have done well with at home learning. I NEEDED teachers close guidance on certain subjects like any math, and my foreign language of choice which was French. I can remember struggling with French and thinking I was never going to do well on the SAT. I didn’t have wonderful French teachers to begin with….until my junior year when the tests were given. I had Mrs Freidberg, who everyone new was the best French teacher in the school, and everyone loved her. Right off I told her I was a terrible French student and her answer to me was, “let me be the judge of that”. Well I loved the way she taught and it all of a sudden became very clear to me instead of this huge mystery. I passed the test in flying colors and she made it a point of coming to me and telling me so. I have had a few teachers in my academic life that made a big difference to me. I do not envy all of your decisions one way or another. I would not want to be a parent who needs to send their children back to school, and I would not want to be the bus drivers and the people in the schools responsible for making sure everyone is safe. What ever you finally decide….God Bless

Hi, Louis! I’m excited for “big deal.” They are just amazing. I was just wondering if new Bisque WK straight skirt would go with lace insert tops. I wasn’t able to get matching beige tank & Capri Earlier in April and am looking for other options. Should I go with Linen or Bisque? Tonal looks are so chic.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear KIKI….I looked at both the Linen and the Bisque with ALL of the inset lace tops, and the Bisque tan and pant looked perfect. It’s not that the linen doesn’t look good, but it’s a little grayer. However they give two options….a crop pant and a long pant. If you had to choose one….definitely the Bisque so you can have the tank and pant to go with any of the tops.

  6. Pyrgrl

Hi Louis, Will the Navy Gray Hoodie match with the dark gray ponte pant?
    Thanks for your videos.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pygrl…..since the hoodie is a heather grey yarn and the pant and grey WK pieces are solid they do not match….but….I think they look great together. The grey of the pant and WK pieces, sleeve;less TN and long skirt are darker than the heather grey which looks really good together. I love the idea of the hoodie with the long WK skirt and the TN as well as the pant. For those of you who own the heather charcoal ponte pant and heather grey WK pieces….they work too…..so adding the hoodie in the navy /grey extends your wardrobe and adds a casual/dressy leisure piece.

As previously mentioned I already purchased bisque ensemble that is available thus far. I am looking forward to your colorful blazers later in fall. Thanks for your video’s.

    Dear Louis —

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your informative videos!! Please keep them coming! It is a lovely collection and I’ve already purchased many things. Sorry to hear there won’t be new tights this year. Your tights are the best!

    With much appreciation,
    Ann

Hi, Louis. QVC has an error on the Boot Cut Super Ponte pages (A303147 and A268216). I has them listed as Dark Grey and Bisque (on Waitlist), but they are not coming in those colors, just the Slim Pant comes in those colors. Correct? Sheila

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Correct Shelia……what can I say….the mind boggles…..I don’t know how they can make these mistakes since there are no orders for these colors in these pants!

  10. morganjen

I have auburn hair, and that Bisque shade will look wonderful! Am getting the whole set.

    Louis

Thanks to you and Lou. The videos are wonderful and so helpful. I swear whomever is styling the photoshoots on QVC is doing it with their eyes closed! It truly boggles the mind that they continue to post such awful photos of the clothing they are selling.

I purchased all three suits. You’re right. You can’t pass up such beautifully designed sets. I’m looking forward to the next video showcasing the new jewelry.

I hope that you’re enjoying some beautiful summer weather in your corner of the world.

    Michelle

The recent videos are the best. Sharing your expertise is a gift. Ok, ok another black jacket it is and the bisque was added too with shells. Good to hear about your gray (going forward standardized). Your gray is beautiful. I’m ready for the BD and I’ll impatiently await the boucle jacket. Thanks for all that you do.

  13. Melissa W

Your videos make me want to buy everything! I’ve often said I’m a jeans girl, even when I go to work. But this video made me want to get the plum and grey Ponte pants (I do have your black boot cut pants and capris and like them). Well the plum is still available but the grey is sold out in my size! 😕 Sure wish the smaller sizes weren’t such a limited quantity.

My question is, the bootcut pant A268216 shows a bisque and dark grey available on waitlist implying they are coming but not yet available. Is this an error? If not, is the dark grey the same as the grey in the new slim Ponte pants? I’d love the grey to go with the BG sweater and the graphite lace top.

  14. Joanne C

I purchased the bisque ensemble including bisque/black hoodie. I am looking forward to bisque cardigan and sleeveless turtleneck. Another great professional/casual ensemble.

  15. Carol

I love watching your videos, Louis. You are such a genuine person on camera–that’s a real gift. We feel like we know you and we trust you. You are the best salesman for your clothing because they ARE your clothing. We’re so lucky to get a look behind the scenes, so to speak, at how the collection works together. We never got that on QVC the way you can do it in your studio. I like the QVC videos because it is nice to see the clothing on live models, too.

Proof of your salesmanship is that I am buying the Bisque ponte pants despite being a Never Bisquer. Anyone can wear Bisque pants and I’m now at least intrigued by the color.

I love the jewelry videos. Even with the best photos, it’s hard to tell the scale of the jewelry without a video.

Thanks to you and to Lou. Isn’t it amazing what we can do with technology these days? I’m of your vintage, so I know you know what I mean.

  16. Cela

Wow everything flows perfectly, but the bisque is a show stopper, the plum too. OMG the cardigans too. And this is a gorgeous black blouse. A dressy black
blouse is so hard to find, and this will go with ANY color of black jacket. It’s mine !

  17. Seka

Louis, your Videos are so informative – and a pleasure to watch.

I wasn’t going to order yet another Black Jacket! Ha!

When you said we ask ourselves ‘well how many Black Jackets do I need – well one more…’ That did it.

    I ordered the Black!
    Seka.

  18. Linda/lrmuffin

Bravo! I love your fall fashions. Getting the plum TCF jacket and skirt and superponte plum and gray pants.
I have to say, your video presentations are making me purchase a lot more bc I see everything styled and up close. I know exactly what I’m getting. Please continue the videos; they show me what I need to see to purchase.
