    thank you Louis,
I see that was a not so good idea on my part.
I’m looking forward to your October collection!

  2. Irene

the video was wonderful ! I learned so much. Thanks ! I just purchased the pine/ magenta blouse. Can I wear the bisque tsv wk cardigan with the blouse ?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Irene you can certainly play with it. There is a little bit of bisque in the print but it will be the pant color you wear that will balance the strong contrast of the cardigan and the print.

  3. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

A217983 Cassis button front cardigan sweater – a real beauty! Pictures are still searchable by the item # at QVC.
Can hardly wait for the coming reorders of THE blazer in TCF in Navy and in Bright Pink. Thanks for the great guidance Louis on how these two blazers fold into the present clusters including the faux suede skirts. I am looking forward to getting those and pairing what works well with the fantastic faux suede jackets from early in the year of 2020 as well. By the way, I did reorder those wonderful fleece-lined knee socks. They kept me toasty all last winter, a rough one up near the Canadian border. Weirdly enough, as to the way shipping is now, they got sent to Muscle Shoals, Alabama and went out for delivery before someone returned them to sender. The next tracking note was that they were sent to the Birmingham, Alabama Distribution Center; then from there to the Lancaster PA Distribution Center. Yesterday they were “In transit to next facility” whatever that means. These gorgeous knee socks are traveling much more far afield than we have been since March 1 and Covid living began. Hope you might soon be able to post previews of these two fantastic blazers. And yes, did get the fabulous “jackets” in all three colors. Your on-the-blog video of them and of all the WK cluster pieces was very compelling. Thank you for doing these. Got an out loud laugh yesterday when I watched the new video and your “model” fainted. Laughed all through the dark screen and you and Lou trying to get her resuscitated. Then some great Linea Lady posted here that she understood that because she was fainting over that collection also šŸ™‚

  4. DC Nancy

Louis, I saw Jennifer on Facebook wearing your pink stripe “gondolier” blouse with a matching pink mid calf pencil skirt–is that coming? I have that blouse and would love the matching skirt! Also, I like the idea others have proposed of a short WK jacket someday. It sounds comfortable and fun to match up with various bottom pieces. I wonder if your magic WK yarn could become something as substantial as an ottoman weave?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Nancy…..I don’t recall ever doing a long pink skirt. You’ll have to ask Jennifer if it’s Linea or her personal skirt……It isn’t coming as part of the line.

  5. Sallie

Louis, this video was FABULOUS! I love how you show options in putting your beautiful pieces together. Obviously, a lot of thought goes into your designs and the palette of colors you choose. Your jewelry is EXCEPTIONAL too! I don’t even bother with other QVC clothing lines any longer….your collection is the BEST….hands down. After viewing your video, I went back and ordered a few more items from this Monday’s presentation….thank goodness, my sizes were still available. : ) Thank you!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sallie…..I am so happy you have such confidence and love for the clothes, and jewelry. Not speaking of the designs themselves, I can honestly say the Linea brands are the best quality QVC has to offer. Elaine, who is totally responsible for the workmanship and fit of the clothes is simply the best. I was very lucky to have been paired up with her over 20 years ago! I work very closely with her from the start to the finished product, but she is dealing with it 24/7…..The jewelry has come a long way from the start of the line. It was always very good in my humble opinion, but over the years it has gotten better and better. There just isn’t another “fashion jewelry” line that compares with the Linea jewelry. Are there other pieces from other brands that are pretty….yes….but on the whole…for the variety and consistency of quality and design nothing competes. I see very little in your major upscale stores, and boutiques that even competes….unless you want to spend triple the $$$$. I don’t know if you have tried the Linea Body line of tights and trouser socks, but they too are of superb quality….enjoy, and wear everything in good health

  6. Andrea

Can somebody let me know if you really wash suits made out of the TCF? I had mixed results Machine washing a similar fabric from another label, but I wasnā€™t sure if dry cleaning was better

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Andrea….take this from the “horses mouth”……IMHO…never wash a tailored garment!!! EVER. I truly believe a blazer, a coat like the trenches, the new Tartan blazers or anything in this category should be dry cleaned. These things need professional care and pressing to keep them looking sharp and tailored. Yes, we say they can be washed, and yes technically they can be, but I believe washing will break down the fabric, the shoulder pads, and eventually you will loose the look of a well tailored jacket. How often would you even dry clean a blazer or coat? Once maybe twice a season? It’s well worth the dry cleaning price to keep your garments looking perfect for years to come…

  7. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Thank you Louis for the FANTASTIC show chock full of suggestions of different ways to wear all of these wonderful designs!!! One question is burning I. My mind… how will it all work with the coming reorder colors of the TCF blazers in navy and bright pink?? Iā€™ve been waiting for those 2 items ever since they showed up on waitlist at QVC. šŸ™„

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, first let me say there will be a matching WK sweater in both colors. Navy is a basic classic color and everything works to navy. For a match there is the new navy V-neck sweater with blouson sleeve, and the ivory and magenta will work also. Caramel and Bisque plus new TN colors will work with navy. The Vivid Pink is the accent color so black, ivory, navy dk grey will all work with the pink.

  8. Debra

    Hi Louis,
When will your new art modern necklace be available at Qvc? I love it and hope to get one when available.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra…the Arte Moderne pendant and the compass is due mid Sept. I believe it is still on course.

  9. Sarah

    Thanks Louis
I was tired and not able to watch the full video but will tomorrow.
    I appreciate your advice

  10. Sarah

    Louis
I just returned from Denver and I wore Linea the whole time. The new plum turtleneck and cardigan, charcoal slim ponte pant and black open weave long cardigan topper on the way out. The Jacā€™s red blouse over bisque turtleneck and topped with bisque cardigan over jeans. This morning I had on the beige sleeveless turtleneck under the mocha ombrĆ© top and the brown jeans. I used scythe necklace and the newer shell necklace to compliment my outfits. This morning my friend commented that I have really stepped up my game with interesting outfits. So big thanks for helping me be comfortable and put together.
I ordered the black faux suede skirt but am a little concerned about the fit since I am a pear. The photos are not so good and the skirts on the model looked tight.
Please advise on the cut and fit, I watched the video but did not catch what sizes everyone was wearing.
    I love your faux suede
    Sarah

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sarah….I agree with you, I thought the skirt on the model was too tight, but She looked bigger than a size 4 and that’s usually the size they have on set. She should have worn one size larger. They aren’t very careful about those things….they just put whatever is there and shoot. Look at Betty in the video of the show. She is a LG top and an XL bottom. I think the skirt fit her beautifully when you are wearing the right size. Check the waist and hip measurements and go from there. Remember there is a lot of stretch to this material.

  11. Cathy in PA

    Hi Louis,

Oh, what a delight to see a fainting dress form … I’m so GLAD you and the masterful Lou didn’t reshoot … I really needed that laugh this week! I am SO delighted to hear the faux suede pant is coming back and WOW what a color lineup; I was so hoping for Navy!!! That’s coming home to me in multiples for me, and extras to check off my birthday and Christmas list for my sister. She really loved the ones I gave her last year for her birthday and Christmas, and was so surprised with how nicely they fit. Yay! Pour Lou a glass of something with our Thanks!

  12. Carol B

Loved the Show this morning. I thought both Katrina and Jennifer did an excellent job of describing all the details, since I already knew them from watching your video. However I think thereā€™s something wrong with Jenniferā€™s sound. Maybe Lou could help her set up a better system because her voice sounds really loud and hollow. I bought too much but I love my Linea. Does who said they donā€™t get dressed up anymore, I even get dressed up to go to the doctors office. Where else am I going to wear these clothes? I am retired and find out when I get dressed in the morning I am wearing more of my ā€œgoodā€ things. I feel so much better when I am dressed nicely and all of your clothes are washable anyway.

  13. Somersault

Fabulous presentation by Katrina! The stylists followed your sketches to a T. The show was so jammed packed that I was grateful you posted your video, yesterday. Katrina is a wonderful presenter and I was impressed with how she engaged Jennifer into giving all the details as well. Katrina is so professional and wears your designs beautifully! Ordered all your Magenta tops and the pine/magenta blazer. I would have loved to order the faux suede skirt as well but I live in Florida, sadly. Congratulations, the show was WONDERFUL! …..oxoxox Cat

  14. Enjay

Well I did it, Louis – I just bought the blouses and tartan blazers in both colors. Hereā€™s my rationalization … if itā€™s taken you all these years to do tartan, I better get them when I can!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Good reasoning Enjay….I’ll probably never do them again.

  15. Lily

WOW! I love it all! Thank you for showing us how the plum and magenta colors complement each other so well. The cascade necklace is simply gorgeous. I have a pair of your faux suede pants and the fabric is wonderful, so I’m sure the faux suede skirts are wonderful too. Your videos are so informative and inspirational on how we can dress beautifully. I truly appreciate them.

  16. Chris S.

    Louis,
Iā€™m so happy you mentioned the raspberry pea coat. I have that, the wk shawl in raspberry, as well as the raspberry wk swing cardigan. My new magenta blouse has already arrived so I tried the pieces together. They really look nice together. I ordered the pine print blouse. Maybe that will coordinate as another option.
Thank you! I am in awe! Now, I just need to be able to wear them. I mostly stay at home for now. Itā€™s just too risky to take any chances.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris….it may not seem it now, but this too will pass, and then you will be resplendent!

  17. Dawn

    Hi Louis!

I have two pieces in the color CASSIS; a knit skirt and a top. I can’t get to the skirt since it’s packed away. The top is A218144, and the fabric is puckered. The top also has a detached cowl neck/scarf. The CASSIS looks pretty next to the PLUM.

    Thanks, Dawn

  18. Carolyn Muse

Dear Louis, WOW! Your presentation was amazing! I am learning how to play, play, play with the new as well as the vintage. Everything is so beautiful. Thank you, thank you once again.

  19. Lisa

Love this grouping! How would the pine floral blouse look over the WK dark forest green dress?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lisa I no longer have that dress so I can’t give you a confirmed answer but the predominate colors are the Magenta and fuchsia so It will probably work.

  20. Michelle

    Louis

I’m not surprised that your model fainted. All of those wonderful clothes put me on the floor too! Lol. Thanks to you and Lou for all of the hard work. As Carol said, the TwoLou video productions continue to be amazing.

    Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.

    Michelle

  21. Carol

Casis is one of the colors you did in the wool blend cardigans and coordinates several years ago. There was gray, black and peacock blue (forget the name of that color.) I have the puckered poly fabric top with long sleeves and removable cowl. It was lined in the tricot and had a keyhole opening in the back of the neck. A really pretty color. I don’t have the item number because I cut out all the tags.

Another vintage item that works with this Fall’s pieces is a leather “Moto” jacket with knit inserts that was done in a dark plum color. A267395 It’s darker than this year’s plum, but looks great mixed in with everything I have purchased so far.

  22. Dawn

    Hi Louis!

Your collections keep getting better and better. Many of the “Vintage” items you showed to coordinate with this new capsule collection are already in my closet. Lou does such a wonderful job with the camera and zooming in on the details. Your videos are so much better than the what the Q shows. Sorry, but I did have to laugh out loud when your mannequin decided to take a rest.

Question: How does MAGENTA compare to your “Vintage” CASSIS?

    Dawn

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dawn….that’s a very good question….Cassis, I forgot all about that color. I don’t even remember what styles I did in that color or when….Can you refresh my memory and I’ll see if I still have anything.

  23. Carolyn TX

Dear Louis – you always bring joy and today you also brought loving laughter as your mannequin decided to take a ā€œnapā€. Your presentations are superior to anything that may be on air – they have limitations to work with that you donā€™t. Please never stop your special previews. As I watched today I realized that you are an excellent teacher. My mother had a way of dressing that was elegant but she left before I could learn. I have been bumbling ever since – until I discovered Linea and now your fantastic presentations. The new WK is feminine. Love it. And the boucle fabric is compact and will be so wearable. It may be this fallā€™s uniform with jeans and ballet flats. Thank you for all that you and your mystery camera man Lou do! Iā€™ll be watching and ordering – the blouse today and jacket Monday or as soon as it appears on the website. Great additions to my growing Linea collection.

  24. Enjay

Louis, thanks so much for taking the time to do these – and to give such fantastic explanations and descriptions. Frankly, I choose what to buy based on your videos – never on the photos and videos on the Q.

  25. Tricia

After watching this wonderful video I went back to the Q and order the magenta . I will have the black and magenta. I checked my closet and have many tops to go with the magenta. Your videos are a big help.

  26. Melissa W

Thank you again for responding Louis! I trust you, not my monitor, LOL. Sometimes shades of purple, pink, magenta…look off.
By the way, I know Iā€™m going to need that compass necklace. Wow!

  27. Shay

    Hi Louis!
I am glad you did not redo the video:) I am a big fan of real. I am often deliberately funny and more often than not accidentally in my classroom. I have Comm always found the moments when I am laughing with my 11th and 12th graders to be the best and truest moments. Maybe I should get a form with an attitude like the one you have for my classroom. As for not using the word, ā€œoldā€ -Iā€™m with you! I like ā€œvintageā€, ā€œseasonedā€ works well too:) And you use words so well to describe your creations.

  28. Diana

    Good Morning Louis!
Wow, wow, wow! What a fabulous video to watch with my morning coffee!! Thank you! Your mannequin mishap just added to the charm of watching you ‘live’ in your third floor studio! Like Linda, my order has tripled and I’m so excited to blend the new with my vintage pieces. I really appreciated Lou’s close-ups of the details in the blouse. We got a great view of the smocking, the buttons and the cuff detail. Again, thank you so much for this video, your descriptions and style suggestions. You are one in a million!
    Diana

  29. Melissa W

Louis, you made my day! I woke up earlier than I wanted to and the dogs were still sleeping soundly, so I picked up my phone to see if you had posted your video yet. When your mannequin fell and you told us not to laugh, I couldnā€™t help but laugh louder! šŸ˜„

I thought the last collection was fabulous. I canā€™t remember if I mentioned this already, but I adore the riding jackets (I got plum and black). Finally received one of my big deal cardigans in grey. I never thought a cardigan could be so nice!! I loooove this new grey color and Iā€™ve ordered the bootcut ponte pants to coordinate (I missed out on the slim leg ones). Canā€™t wait to receive my other cardigans and coordinating jewelry.

This new collection is gorgeous! I ordered the pine floral blouse last night as well as the black ribbon blouse. Will be ordering the jacket ASAP. After this video you have me considering a suede skirt! Still trying to decide which WK sweaters to get. I was leaning towards the magenta but now wonder if I should get the magenta blouse instead. I have the ivory and sapphire already.

Enough rambling, you had responded to me before and said the magenta WK has more of a warm undertone, does the blouse as well? I canā€™t trust the accuracy of colors on my phone.

Thank you (and Lou2 too) for the great video!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes Melissa. all of the magenta colors were “born” from the same standard, so they are all warm. I think my showing of the “vintage” magenta leather jacket with the magenta blouse illustrates just how close the colors are to the standard. Only the faux suede has a mind of it’s own and wants to be what it wants to be LOL, however they too work very well with everything else.

  30. Somersault

Louis, what a FABULOUS video! Your fainting model made me chuckle! The details you showed on the beautiful georgette blouse was amazing. I am mad for the pine/plum blazer and all the new magenta tops. I have your purple Chanel pearl trimmed jacket and skirt and I am hoping it will work with the new magenta tops. I loved how you used and added the vintage pieces to widen our perspective. You and Lou make a fabulous production team. QVC has nothing compared to your videos. I rely on you and all your presentitations to make all my purchases. I only use QVC to order and to see how the designs look on the models and I know at some point, I’ll only use QVC to order. Your presentations are far superior to anything QVC presents. Enjoy that martini, today, you deserve it!…….Cat

  31. Elizabeth

    Hi Louis:

Exceptional presentation! What a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Your designs keep getting better and better. I agree with Shay that Iā€™m going to greatly expand my order after watching your video. This is one of my favorite collections you have done in a long time, although I purchase a piece from virtually every collection for years. Will you be bringing back the faux suede pants? Your faux suede is extremely comfortable, elegant and a delight to wear. Thank you for showing the sketches for the live show. Very informative.

Enjoy your Sunday and look forward to your show tomorrow.

    Elizabeth

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Elizabeth….yes, the faux suede pant is returning in Dec….in black navy and alabaster with new sweaters to go with them

  32. Rudewarr

    Louis,

Like Carol said, the TwoLouā€™s productions are phenomenal! And the mishap with the mannequin not only gave a good laugh, which is totally needed right now, but actually makes you even more endearing to us as itā€™s REAL!

Now I have already ordered the suede skirts in black and navy as well as the coordinating WK sweaters and they are already on their way. I lucked out early this morning and was able to snatch the grey Fez necklace (yay!) After watching the video, Iā€™m contemplating the magenta collection as well as Iā€™m definitely ordering the tartan as soon as itā€™s posted (hopefully while thereā€™s still free shipping) Iā€™m trying so hard to budget as I canā€™t wait to see the October collection with the tweed bisque/gray blazer. What a stellar fall!

Thank you so much as always!
    Kate

  33. Seka

Louis, I thoroughly enjoyed your Video – and yes, I did laugh!
Your presentation and detailed explanations – fabulous! Lou does a great job with the camera!
    Love the new Compass Necklace!
    Seka.

  34. Karen in WI

Oh Louis what a wonderful surprise this morning! Thank you so much for the thorough review of all that is coming. Your videos are relaxed, informative, charming, and yes, funny! Itā€™s real life! Thank you for diverting our eyes for modesty…lol! With free shipping at the Q today, it is a good time to get whatever is posted already! Have a wonderful Sunday and get a bit of well deserved relaxation in! Iā€™m off to ponder and buy. Hugs and love!

  35. Lrmuffin

    Wow, that was just spectacular!

This video has tripled my order, which was substantial to start with. Everything is classic, coordinates with each other and my past purchases. The fall collection is just beautiful. Wearing your clothes makes me feel younger, pretty and more confident. Thank you for all your hard work!

    Linda/lrmuffin

  36. Christine

Very comprehensive overview. Thank you! I so enjoyed seeing you combine items both new and from our closets. I’ve recently lost weight (thank you, Peloton) and need replace much of my wardrobe. (Hoping that someday the faux suede pants will return.) I’m appreciative and excited that the plaid on the tartan jacket matches!

  37. Carol

Louis, we’re never laughing at you, always with you! Your TwoLou’s Productions are so much fun. It’s Play, Play, Play…So do you think the navy suede skirt could be used like a jeans skirt? Or is is too fluid?

So informative on the fabrics. This is the kind of thing you could never do on live TV. We’re so lucky to have your presentations. It really puts the big picture together.

I have the magenta leather jacket, DFG f suede pants, the DFG blazer and the magenta pea coat, so how lucky am I?

The blue crystal necklace with the midnight blue sequin pants. I’m dead.

    Carol

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

See Carol….nothing goes out of style….just keep recycling and everything will seem new again….Yes, I think the navy suede skirt can substitute for a jean skirt….why not. If you wear it with the same casual clothes an footwear it will look good. Of course a suede skirt, faux or not, will always be an upgrade from denim.

  38. Shay

Boy oh boy, do you make beautiful clothes and jewelry. AND then you describe them so engagingly and in such a detailed manner. When you had the mannequin mishap, when she nearly died, I had to laugh, but you came through it with your usual charm and good sense of humor. When you ended with ā€œbye,ā€ you had me thoroughly convinced to ā€œbuyā€. Thanks for the clothes and jewelry, thanks for the laugh, thanks for reminding me that all that is new can blend with all that is old. Thanks for everything, Louis!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shay…when the mannequin slid down on the pole that keeps it up, at first I thought we had to do it over, but I quickly changed my mind and thought what the hay this is real this is funny, and we went right along. I think it is very important that I do these comprehensive videos so all of you know exactly what each garment is about. The on air presentations barely scratch the surface, and no one can explain the garments or jewelry or the leg wear like I can.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Shay….never refer to anything as “old”. Refer to it as VINTAGE like a good bottle of wine…..LOL…..I’m not old….I’m a good vintage!….just kidding with you!
