Cathy that is just so wonderful to hear! Having your husband in the hospital is a trying thing in normal times, but during Covid they don’t let the spouse go in at all, so I was praying extra hard for him and for you my dear! Love and hugs to you and your husband! I have always enjoyed your comments and I thought it sweet how you talked about your Walter.

Karen in WI and Nancy in DC, thank you for you good wishes; angels were listening to you, Louis and Walter is home again and doing WONDERFUL! I wore Jac’s “Wonderful” bracelet that morning, last week, for the first time in ages, and shortly after, I got the call to pick him up 🙂

Thank you for answering my question about pants and the upcoming BD topper. I have the A343163 pants in both mushroom and black, so as you say, I’m set. Looking forward to adding another topper to my Linea collection. I have great toppers from years past in ivory, scarlet and black, so I’m probably going to be getting a mystery color.

  4. CGee

Ahh! Those rocks looked like seals 🙂

Thanks for the relaxing vista from your home! What are those dark shapes in the water starting about 1:22? Rocks near the shore?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes CGee they are rocks. At high tide they are completely covered, but at low tide there are lots of rocks and boulders….one in front of my house is 10 feet tall….so the tide is at least 12 feet high.

What a beautiful view! Hope you had a great relaxing day! 😊

    Hi Louis!

I’m waving back at you from hot Northern California under smoke hazed skies. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous view on the water! It is just so perfectly lovely.

Dear Diana…the news shows have been filled with horrific pictures of the fires. I can’t imagine that being someone’s view! Though we here on the east don’t worry too much about fires….we are in the middle of hurricane season which is scary enough…..When they, from beginning to end, they usually last 24 hours, but when they pass usually with blue clear skies the destruction can be devastating..The USA get hit with it all! Stay safe

    Hi Louis,

I enjoyed the beautiful video of Long Island Sound. There is something so special about being near the water, a primal gift that helps and heals.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful view with us on this Labor Day! Can’t believe that summer is basically over, but bring on autumn as it is my favorite! There has certainly been a chill in the air and I haven’t gone outside on my front porch for morning coffee most of this past week as it has been a bit too cold already. My youngest son made air fryer chicken wings and we also had flat bread sandwiches and corn on the cob from a local farm. I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend. So relaxing.

Love and hugs to you and all the dear Linea Ladies!

PS: If Cathy (Cat) is reading this, I just wanted to say that I have been praying for Walter and hope that he is getting better and will be home soon, if he isn’t already. I have been thinking of you both.

Oh Louis, that view! Beautiful. Nothing like being on the water…Our weather today is the “calm before the storm” as our temps will plunge by 50 degrees by tomorrow night! We actually have a winter storm watch for snow tomorrow. So, we’re bringing all the flowers inside and covering up the rest. Needless to say, this is very unusual, even for Colorado. Climate change is to blame for this early storm and all the fires around our state. 2020 is annus horribilis! But, all we can do is enjoy what’s good in our lives and look forward!

What a perfect Labor Day you’re having! We’re going to grill some burgers and I’m making some garlic oven fries to go along. I’m getting. nervous because my plaid blazer has not shipped yet, but at least it’s not showing as sold out so there’s hope. I did manage to snag a gray Fez. I’m stalking the bisque slim leg pant, but I’m not hopeful on those. Going to complain again that there are never enough pants to go around!

Speaking of pants, will there be new pants to go with the BD topper? Do the reorder suede pants or the A268216 bootcut ponte pants coordinate? Are we getting new colors of A343163? I think you said there were new wk sweaters to go with the topper.

I have loved so many pieces of your fall collection this year. The plum/magenta story is on display in my closet right now, and I’m in love with your new gray. I’ll post my five star reviews as soon as my blazer arrives.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….there will not be a new pant to go with the Oct. BD, but the Super Ponte pant has been reordered and is now on wait list. These should go with everything, and I’m sure you have many pants already in your closet that will work perfectly. For those of you who already have the TCF pant in black, done a few seasons ago, that’s all you will need.

Waving back at you from Long Island Louis ! Enjoy the rest of the day!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful windy day on the water. I could almost smell the salt air. I am going to my brother in law’s for dinner tonight. I got my “high dose” flu shot today and I feel fine afterward. Get your soon Louis snd ladies! XOXO

Hi Louis, It is nice, sunny and warm here on the Washington coast also. Yesterday we drove up to Mt. Baker, one of our volcanic mountains here and it was lovely. The last few weekends have been beautiful and more and more people are getting out and about. (My jackets and accessories are somewhere unbeknownst traveling across the country) Take care my dear.
