The lurex sweaters got posted today and should we stick with our usual size for WK tops? The photos at the Q are up to their usual excellent standards! LOL

Chris order your normal size…..we always fit the garments on the same model. if you go down it will be very form fitting and up will be baggy.

Just another reason to read here. Thanks to reading Melissa W. msg, I just dialed QVC for a price adjustment on Tartan plaid. They were very cooperative. Love it. Pamela in the sunny south. And thank you Louis

    Good Afternoon, Louis!

Loved the video on these sweaters! Your videos are super helpful and really show how beautiful and versatile your clothing items are. All of the sweaters are gorgeous, and even though I don’t need any, I may have to get a couple of these 🙂
Also, I have to admit that part of why I’m writing to you is that I caught a glimpse of a very funny poster up on the wall–I couldn’t see the top part, but the bottom part that I could see made me laugh! Thank you for that!!

Dear Cindy…..I was wondering when someone was going to mention that picture!!!!!I have taken it down in the past cause I didn’t want to offend anyone, but what the heck. I’m too old to worry about offending anyone! It’s on a metal plate. It’s a picture of Suzy Parker the most famous model of the 50’s. Before her the models were all super stylized. She was the first to bring “natural” into fashion, and was the first of a whole new group of models…..It’s a funny story. When Cartier was redoing there store on 5th Ave. they relocated across the street from the Plaza Hotel and Bergdorf Goodman’s. Jac and I had to go to Cartier to get watches fixed. Outside there was a plaza and in that plaza was a kiosk. Jac left the store before me, while I finalized what needed to be done, and when I met her she had a package wrapped in newspaper. She said she bought me a present. When we got home she gave it to me, and when I opened it I laughed my head off. One because what it said, and two because Jac gave it to me!!!! It said “The Older I get, the more Everyone can Kiss my Ass”, with that beautiful Suzy Parker in the background. It was true 15 years ago when Jac gave it to me and it becomes truer and truer as time passes, and the OLDER I get.

What a funny story!! I too noticed that sign and laughed!
I’m glad someone mentioned it because I was going to but forgot.

P.S. The tartan plaid blazer is on sale today with free shipping so I finally picked up the red/navy one I’ve been wanting!

        Dear Louis,
That is such a great story!! I love the picture even more now that you’ve explained the story behind it. Thank you so much for taking the time to share it with all of us 🙂

Your videos are wonderful. But I would love to meet your camerman Lou. Please tell him he does a fabulous job showing us your creations.

Wonderful video Louis & Lou! QUESTION: Alabaster Lurex sweater: Will it work with the flowered embroidered skirt from spring, and/or will it work with the Latte Embroidered skirt? Thank You!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Cathy…..the alabaster lurex sweater works well with the floral emb. skirt, but not with the latte. The Latte is too golden next to the alabaster which is more platinum.

Floral embroidered skirt … good enough for me 🙂 Alabaster lurex on my shopping list! Thanks, Louis

Yeay! I love seeing your videos. Thankyou for getting them posted here! So many beautiful things to look coward to.

Well, I think I’m going to have to get all three after watching this.
The black will be fabulous with so many of my Linea skirts and sequin pants. Love it with the suede skirt and pants you showed, which I’m telling myself I don’t need in FL. I’d probably be better off getting the eyelet skirt which I’ve been wanting but never pulled the trigger because I couldn’t decide on a color.

I looove the midnight lurex with jeans. And when you added the ivory jacket. Wow! I was so excited thinking I have that jacket, but I just looked. I don’t. 😕 I have A347451, the ivory ponte knit blazer which is probably too casual. Nonetheless, I didn’t think I’d need both midnight and black, but I do.

The alabaster is so pretty too. Love it under the plaid blazers. How does it go with the coquette skirt?

Also, you mentioned in another post that Lou, I think, had wanted the TCF riding jacket in size 2. If it’s any consolation, I often take 2, but sometimes need a 4. I like how the 4 in this particular jacket fits me. Just saying it might be worth a shot.
I have plum and black and now that the skirts are on sale, I’m thinking I should get them or I’ll regret it.

Anyhow, thank you for another great video!
