I too have been in complete denial of your exit from QVC. Between the shock of that horrific news and the recent posts/capital developments, I have chosen to be unusually quiet. Please accept my apologies for not commenting earlier on your unceremonious departure. It is just tragic and I have let QVC know it. We will all sorely miss your art. I know my husband and daughters are just as upset as I am.
I truly enjoyed your video and although I watched it a day late, I certainly took full advantage yesterday. Don’t tell my husband, but there are quite a few fashion and jewelry items heading my way! Too many to mention. I agree with you about the Midas necklace and bracelet…it is simply stunning! And I purchased the camel Tibet earrings as I thought that would go perfect with them, (I, of course, had to get the gunmetal/purple Tibetan necklace and earrings to go with my plum items as well!)
I hope you continue with your videos. I don’t have Facebook (I’m anti-social…media lol) but I may consider joining if you continue doing them. Maybe with enough notification, we can all dress up in our Linea to show off our best selves!
You really do brighten my day, be it your blog, your videos or when I throw on one of your creations. You don’t have to be wonderful… you ARE WONDERFUL!

Thank you for posting a new video–so good to see you, your lovely home and the more recent jewelry pieces up close with your commentary. Sure makes a difference 🙂 Also enjoyed seeing all your Christmas decorations and it was so thoughtful of you to leave them up for the live video session! (Ours are coming down this weekend, too. Always makes me sad to box them up) I wound up purchasing quite a few pieces of jewelry and clothing yesterday. With the reduced pricing and free shipping, it was a no-brainer to go overboard and click through my wish list. You mentioned that the silver pieces currently on waitlist will be fulfilled over the next 3 weeks. I have the bangle in the gold and now waitlisted for the silver. Will the silver earrings also be available?

Thanks, Louis. I had a feeling that was the case. I must admit I’m still in denial about your QVC departure. But, when that reality comes into focus, I console myself with thoughts of my many years of collecting and enjoying your designs from the Anne Klein days to most of your years at QVC. I’m so grateful. I wish you the best of health, new adventures and joy in this new more leisurely chapter of your life. I’m relieved you will still be here for us. Having you disappear from our lives completely would be too hard to bear!
Thanks so much for the great video, Louis. It is always so good to have you presenting and talking about your pieces and as others have, said never understood QVC just putting up non-flattering pictures for your pieces of such quality and unique and beautiful design. Yes, I finished my Louis shopping yesterday also as you said this is the end, unfortunately for us, but we will have them to enjoy, and for others to enjoy when we wear them, and to play with for years. Glad you will be enjoying being a gentleman of leisure but hope somehow your creative ideas will take some form as the future and your life evolves as I can’t imagine your great talent and flow of ideas and concepts just being “lost”. Art takes many forms and you the artist will always be an artist!!
Louis, Loved watching the FB Live and learning more about these lovely pieces. If $$ was not a consideration I would order everything. I did order several pieces though. Thank you, and (bonus) btw, cannot wait to try the 3 recipes I found on your blog: Jac’s Ginger cookies, Christmas bread and the egg cake…..Gotta be careful not to eat my way out of my clothes!
Really enjoyed watching this video yesterday. Afterwards, I ordered several more pieces before the free S&H went away. I have lots of Linea on the way.
Louis, I woke up not feeling the best this Monday morning, so I poured a cup of coffee, settled in my parlor, and then I delightfully remembered that you have a new video! What a treat! I love, love seeing the jewelry in a video and I too have always wondered why QVC did not give your wonderful pieces proper airtime. Karen and Kathy are so beautiful and I want to thank them for all the work they have done on the jewelry line. I am so excited to find out that there will be more of the “wonderful” bracelets coming as I wanted to buy one for my niece and tuck it away for her college graduation. I regretted not thinking of that earlier. I wish more “wonderful” earrings and rings were coming too, but I am thrilled with the bracelet.
Louis, I am so happy that you made Jac’s ginger cookies! I know she is so proud of you! It is important to carry on these comforting traditions. Well, with the stollen and cookies, you are becoming quite the baker! It’s a lovely thing to do on cold winter days. I have been reading the King Arthur Flour blog and have made a list of a few things I want to bake this winter. Next up is speculaas cookies as my Dutch grandfather made them, and then a lemon bliss Bundt cake. Good thing I am up to three boys living at home again so these treats go quickly and mom won’t overindulge!

Louis……….two hours of pure joy! Beautiful presentation! It was wonderful to be able to see your amazing jewelry in glorious detail. I own and enjoy so many of your pieces and am, always, amazed at the quality at a reasonable price point. Of course, I enjoy all the history involved with each piece.
What a delight to spend a Sunday afternoon with you. I hope you will continue to do videos for us………….just chats would be fabulous, stories about Anne Klein, what is involved in putting together a runway show or any stories of your chosing. It will ease our withdrawal anxiety……as always, Cat
Well, shoot. I posted a long reply in the wrong section, under the post where you talked about free shipping and handling. I meant to post it here under your video. Oh well. I hope you see it. I won’t repost it here but will thank you again for confirming the champagne Carrina will work with the lace inset tops. I ordered it as well as a lot of other goodies today. 😊
Thank you Louis! I really enjoyed the jewelry video today. I never understood why QVC did not have your jewelry presented properly on shows. Just poor pictures on line made no sense to me. All the jewelry I purchased from your line have been such nice quality, which I know is important to you.
Great video as always. You showcased some of my favorites and gave a good close up of the new pieces I was contemplating. The Mobile group are so me…I got both necklaces and the multi ear. I thought I was going to pass on the Tibetan pieces, but no, you got me again. Had to do gunmetal/purple in that, and so then I needed the bracelets, too. The sun earrings. The champagne Carina, because I forgot I meant to order that after I got the navy home. Gorgeous! This on top of all the new markdowns on some pieces I was holding out for: the blue strip big shirt (I have the espresso already), the eyelet skirt in black (already have the sapphire), the wrap top in scarlet (already have the caramel), the navy ruffle skirt (because Karen), and a few older jewelry items that I couldn’t let slip away (gold twisted sister) and the chocolate liquid bracelet. Thank you so much for bringing all this beauty to us. And for being real with us.
Louis, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your Video – Cathy and Karen did a great job. The information you provided was fantastic – for example, my Multi Mobile Necklace has already shipped – I didn’t realize the detail of the ring colours that attach the pieces…..this piece is so beautiful!
