Hi Everyone…..Above are photos of the jewelry, with the new bracelet coming in December. There is also a picture of the packaging which includes the box, the black mesh pouch and the romance card. I think these would make perfect Christmas presents. There are also pictures of the November “Essentials”. The LBD in the Roma Ponte Knit….approx. 40″ long, size XS. The jacket is in my poly/rayon/span gabardine….the same fabric as my pant. The color is Graphite and it has a 3/4 sleeve. All the button holes are bound to give an extra “designer” touch. The sleeve can be turned back. The December “Essential” cardigan and tank comes in Berry Red and Black. The red is a cool blue red…not a tomato red. The  60% Cotton / 40% Rayon makes it perfect all year dressing. The bracelet will also be available in December!  Click on the picture to get a larger image.

Admiring the commitment you put into your website and in depth information you provide. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed material. Wonderful read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

      Dear Sarah,
Thank you for your comments….they are greatly appreciated. I take this website and blogging very seriously, plus, it’s fun. I feel, if I’m going to have a website it’s a commitment and if I’m going to do it …I should do it well.

I don’t always agree with you (thank God, that would be boring), but I have to tell you you are a great writer.

    Dear Louis,

You and Jac did a great job on the display! Can’t wait to order the new graphite jacket – it will be taken on many trips as well as as being worn at home. Do you know when it will be available?

    Thanks,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Thank you Dariann,
I will let Jac know you like her display….she worked very hard on it and I know she will be happy you liked it. The graphite jacket will be perfect for travel….you can do so many things with it and I’m sure you have collected tons of accessories that can go with it.
I have e-mailed my asst. buyer to see if she knows exactly when it will be on line. I know the items are there because they were scheduled to be photographed this week…….When I hear from her I’ll let you know……..Louis

  6. MH-MN

What a beautiful array! I’ve had so many compliments on the jet and gold beaded necklace that I’m very tempted to get another when I order that gorgeous bracelet in December.

Among the new items, I’m especially excited about the Graphite jacket. Love the shape and the fabrication!

It occurs to me that a woman could travel light and look fashionable for a month with just the clothing and jewelry items above plus the black Roma ponte skirt and jacket, a couple pairs of the gaberdine pants, a few silk blouses and/or Tees, shoes, scarves and a raincoat.

November and December will be fun shopping months for your Linea ladies!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear MH-MN,
I highly recommend getting another black and gold bead necklace. As you can see from the photo it looks terrific when you have multi necklaces wrapped around the neck. You could even mix the pearl necklaces in… worn the same way. You will not be sorry if you get another. The graphite jacket is a beauty. It is deceivingly simple, but makes a big statement and, you can accessorize it a zillion ways.
A travel story…..a dear friend of mine…..since junior high school, called me from California and told me she was going on an “Opera Tour” in Italy….what should she bring? She would be staying at Lake Como….going into Milan for the opera, Padua [SP], and Venice. She needed to pack light because of all the moving around but she need 4 dressy outfits. We started with the bottoms: jeans for travel and running around, a pr. of my black gab pants [which she just got in size TALL], my black velvet pull-on pant and my black boho skirt. Since she wore the jeans…the rest took very little room. Then the tops: my turquoise cardi and matching crew neck, black t-neck, pearl print top in mocha, antique gold Linea off the shoulder top [about 5 years old] a burnout black velvet peasant top, also vintage Linea, and a black silk/cashmere/lycra off the shoulder Linea sweater also vintage Linea. The only bulky things she brought were my “shine ” black trench coat and my “shine’ khaki safari type jacket, which she wore on the plane. One or two more everyday tops, scarves, jewelry [mine of course [plus she has an extensive collection of vintage Anne Klein jewelry]], pr. of black suede boots, black ballet flats, a pr of heels and she wore her sneakers for site seeing. I remember all of this because she sent me pictures of the outfits for my approval!!!!! She’s crazy but I love her….I know her since we were 12. She reported back that the women…. and men…. loved her clothes and of course told them exactly where they could find them. So, you are right when you say you don’t need to pack much and still look good. One trick is to eliminate anything that is bulky………..regards………..Louis

The visual you paint of yours and Jac’s costumes is hysterical!
I love th photos of the items you are bringing us. Can’t wait for the red cardigan and graphite jacket! The jewelry is fab….and I love the presentation.
I’m enjoying wearing the loden and forest green jackets…thank you!
    Happy Fall!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Judi,
I’m glad you pointed out the graphite jacket. I think it’s minimalism at its best. Simple but very sophisticated. All you need is an ivory shell and a black pair of pants and you’re set. There are inseam pockets but, it’s the shape of the jacket that is outstanding. It follows the line of the body which gives the silhouette without being tight. I especially love the working bound button holes on the sleeve, which gives you the ability to wear the sleeve turned back. Also, in the spring it will look fantastic with ivory pants and an ivory shell….some silver jewelry too. I’m very pleased you are happy with your loden and forest green jackets!……………….best regard………….Louis

  8. Tristan AKA Celia

Love that RED, Louis!!! Thanks for sharing! I am so glad I got the jewelry and can’t wait for the bracelet, and the dress. Happy Halloween!

    1. Tristan AKA Celia

PS maybe someday we’ll get the turtleneck, too!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Happy Halloween to you too. Jac and I went to a Halloween party at a friends house and she did an incredible job with decorating EVERY room of the house! Even the bathroom had a white shower curtain with bloody hand prints smeared on it…..GRUESOME!!!I went as a drunken pilot with small liquor bottles sticking out of my shirt pocket, pilots wings pinned on crooked, my hat worn to the side, and a general disheveled look. Jac went as Lindsay Lohan….Red wig tied in a pony tail, smudged eye makeup, freckles, a black mini, torn fishnets [Lindsay falls a lot],a white shirt tied at the waist, a black motorcycle jacket, syringe earrings and necklace, black boots and an ankle guard. When she was finished I took a picture…blew it up….added Lindsay Lohan’s name and numbers to the bottom for a mug shot. I put it in a plastic and hung it around her neck. To finish it off she carried a tin cup which said “Collecting for Betty Ford Clinic”. It was a lot of fun and everyone dressed up. However,I wasn’t allowed to eat any candy!………………………….
      ………….next………..Thanksgiving!!!!!…..regards…….Louis

I sent your description to my daughters (18 and 20 yrs.) and they got a huge kick out of it!

  9. Barbara in Virginia

Hi, Louis! I think that Carol and I are talking about the same sweater, A85087. I also have it and would love to have a cardigan to match. Same red? Thanks so much! Barbara

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Barbara,
Please read my response to Carol about the red sweaters. The cardigan is more of a winter berry red….but it is still a red that you could wear any time of the year………………regards…………Louis

      1. Barbara in Virginia

Thanks, Louis. I love red, one of my best colors. What amazes me about your reds is their consistency in shade and tone, if not in fibers. I have the aforementioned red matte sequin pullover, the red silk and cashmere T-neck, and another red sweater of several seasons back, the one that is trimmed with little gold beads along the neckline, sleeves, and hem. They are all different fibers but the reds are practically identical and definitely the same tone. Knowing now that the silk and cashmere T-neck is what you used for your beauty shots, I see that the new cardigan and tank are different. But there is hardly a blue-red that I don’t love! All the best, Barbara

  10. Carol

Louis–what can you tell us about the seaming on the LBD? Looks like it might have a seam down the front? Also princess seaming?

Does the red of the new cardi/tank set match the red of the sweater with gold matte sequin swirls? Are they the same fabrication?

As always, your clothes have me drooling. I’m wearing the turquoise rib knit wool blend cardigan with a white blouse and brown jeans today. The lady at the checkout where I shopped for Halloween candy today remarked how blue my eyes were. I think we have your sweater to thank for that!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Carol,
The dress has princess seams front and back….they have a 1/4″ top stitch. The dress also has a center front and center back seam. There is a 3/4″ top stitch following the V-neckline and down the front on either side of the seam…front and back. The top stitching isn’t very pronounced but, gives a little added detail. There is also a black slit for walking.
The cardigan and the sweater with the matte gold sequins are not the same red. The sequin sweater is a little brighter red and the cardigan is a little deeper and bluer. You could wear them together but they are not a match. The photos I posted look very bright and very RED! The turtleneck in the pictures is my silk/cashmere,lycra blend…..which is sold out. The sequin sweater is a cotton/acrylic blend while the cardigan and tank are a cotton/rayon blend. The weight of the sweaters are very similar since they are the same gauge.
I LOVE the rib turquoise sweater!!I once showed it with a black T-neck and camel pants and a black cashmere scarf looped around the neck. My gold bead necklace or my black and gold bead necklaces would look great with it. I also love that cardigan for spring/summer with ivory pants and an ivory tank with my gold jewelry…..very chic….the pink is beautiful too….enjoy………
      …………….regards……………Louis

      1. Carol

Thanks, Louis! I have all three colors of the cardigan and matching short sleeve sweater, so I know what you’re saying about the pink. Thanks also for the styling ideas. I’m going to pair the pink with my new TALL navy contour waist pants. Hooray for Talls!

The LBD sounds fabulous. Can’t wait to get my hands on it. Would love more colors in that style, too.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Claudia,
I’m happy you liked the pictures. I took the pictures and Jac made the collage. I needed a friend to help post everything. I would have never been able to figure the whole thing out….the bracelet will be avail in December………regards……….Louis
